We stayed one night. Upgraded to a better room for free. Staff are very accommodating and nice. Room was simple but has what you need. Bed was comfy!

The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming. Downstairs, the restaurant offers free coffee, tea, and drinking water in the morning, which is a great value! Even with a daily tip of 1-2 dollars, the room was cleaned thoroughly. It's truly rare to find such a good hotel in a prime Manhattan location where every inch of land is so expensive.

I stayed there for two nights. If you have business occasions near Grand Central, location is not too bad but if you expect various activities beyond business, you might have more options. 42nd-Grand Central station is 7-8 min by walk.

The room was a bit small, but its central location made it super convenient. The hairdryer wasn't very powerful. Breakfast was available downstairs, with coffee and bagels. You can also store your luggage after checking out.

Good stay and overall experience. Temperature control in the room made the stay very comfortable. The shower is very small thoug. Hard to shower without getting hair wet, but everything else is great. Service is great. Location is great.

🌟 The hotel staff were fantastic, especially Feny, Zack, and Key, whose friendliness and helpfulness made me feel right at home. 🏠 I’m so glad I chose POD 39! 👍

Great budget option for solo travelers without having to sacrifice comfort and service. I stayed here for two nights at the peak of tourist season in NYC, and I’m glad I chose to stay here. This hotel was cheaper than the other mid-budget options in the area (and I also knew I didn’t want to stay in a hostel). Plus, the location is fantastic: close to Grand Central and multiple bus lines.
I booked a single room with a twin bed but ended up getting upgraded to a queen bed. The room was modern and clean, albeit small, but it got the job done. I’d imagine the room setup being less preferable for couples/friends. I did not use any of the other amenities, so I can’t comment on those. However, my only complaint is the high facility fee.
I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again when I’m back in NYC.

I happened to walk by and my eyes caught this place. I went in and the cashier was very friendly. The place has a pretty cool setup. They have these natural gum with amazing flavors like cinnamon & coffee. I loved the sitting area.

I almost spent half of my working lunch there, it has almost everything, weighted cold and hot food, sandwich, salads, soups, and I like Korean noodle the best. Could also sit down and enjoy a break there.

The place is dirty for one. Second, they don't have consistent pricing for breakfast sandwiches. Rude cashiers and guessing game taxes instead of ringing up what you owe, and they're very often wrong. They speak a foreign language in front of the customers. No manager anywhere to be seen. Stay away!!

Close to Grand Central for a reasonably priced breakfast or quick bite. They have a by the pound cold/hot buffet as well.

I frequently use them for catering and they are the best!! Reliable, friendly, reasonable prices, and all the food is great!

The waffles, pancakes, and turkey burger were really good. The chicken pot pie was kind of bland. It looked extremely busy but we got a table for 5 fairly quickly after waiting in line to reach the hostess stand. Nice place, sat and watched the snow fall

Luckily we arrived for breakfast just before the mad queue that formed on a Friday before work time. The place was full of suits.
The service was good and the food was tasty. Did I feel it was worth what we paid for? No. But it was next to Grand Central station so I guess these places have a premium in the work district.

I love this place. I have had the pleasure of eating here twice over about 5 years and the breakfast is amazing and the service stellar. The corned beef hash is the best I have ever had hands down. Fast service even when the are packed. Don’t worry about the line.

Great central location to meet up, especially GCT commuters at the end of the work day. Despite being directly across the street from Grand Central Station, the high ceilings seem to help contain noise for a comfortable conversation level noise, and It's never been too crowded - even in the after work 5p-8p timeframe. No complaints on food and service.

Great breakfast place! I tried the egg Benedict with salmon one day and the healthy breakfast another day during our stay in the city. Service is good but the place is a little busy.
