The hotel front desk staff were very welcoming. Downstairs, the restaurant offers free coffee, tea, and drinking water in the morning, which is a great value! Even with a daily tip of 1-2 dollars, the room was cleaned thoroughly. It's truly rare to find such a good hotel in a prime Manhattan location where every inch of land is so expensive.

I stayed there for two nights. If you have business occasions near Grand Central, location is not too bad but if you expect various activities beyond business, you might have more options. 42nd-Grand Central station is 7-8 min by walk.

The room was a bit small, but its central location made it super convenient. The hairdryer wasn't very powerful. Breakfast was available downstairs, with coffee and bagels. You can also store your luggage after checking out.

Good stay and overall experience. Temperature control in the room made the stay very comfortable. The shower is very small thoug. Hard to shower without getting hair wet, but everything else is great. Service is great. Location is great.

🌟 The hotel staff were fantastic, especially Feny, Zack, and Key, whose friendliness and helpfulness made me feel right at home. 🏠 I’m so glad I chose POD 39! 👍

Great budget option for solo travelers without having to sacrifice comfort and service. I stayed here for two nights at the peak of tourist season in NYC, and I’m glad I chose to stay here. This hotel was cheaper than the other mid-budget options in the area (and I also knew I didn’t want to stay in a hostel). Plus, the location is fantastic: close to Grand Central and multiple bus lines.
I booked a single room with a twin bed but ended up getting upgraded to a queen bed. The room was modern and clean, albeit small, but it got the job done. I’d imagine the room setup being less preferable for couples/friends. I did not use any of the other amenities, so I can’t comment on those. However, my only complaint is the high facility fee.
I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again when I’m back in NYC.

I really enjoyed my stay at Pod 39. The room was compact, but very well-designed, clean, and comfortable - I was perfectly fine with the size. Everything I needed was there and laid out smartly.
The location is excellent, close to Grand Central and easy to get around the city. The rooftop bar has incredible views and is definitely worth visiting. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a modern, fun vibe throughout.
Overall, Pod 39 is a great choice if you want a convenient, stylish, and budget-friendly stay in NYC. I would definitely book here again!
