Room was nice and neat. Very spacious. Location was great. The only downside is that they don’t have free WiFi, which is kinda disappointing in this generation.

Walking distance to many places you will want to visit in Philadelphia. The rooms are very nice and clean. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and updated. The front desk was very nice and accommodating

The location was perfect- right near many restaurants, shopping areas, and bars. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The gym, wet sauna, and dry sauna are included with your stay

Made it very awkward when we went to breakfast the next day and had to insist that we’d paid for breakfast. They still gave us a bill for breakfast, but then after talking to the front desk realized it was a mistake

I told her we’d rather wait for a king room because that’s what we paid for, and lo and behold, suddenly she had one. We paid for breakfast with our stay, but she forgot to give us tickets for breakfast

You can climb to the top to visit. The hotel lobby is very grand, with a marble dome-shaped roof and transparent glass in the middle that can see the sky. The service is warm and polite

Great hotel, with shuttle to airport every 30'. Excellent service, my flight got cancelled last minute at 5am and they allowed me to come back to the hotel and use the room until checkout time

There is free transfer from the airport, but it's very inconvenient to order it unless you have an American sim card (you can order it only by calling the hotel, not possible to do it advance just when you got your luggage) No free parking at the premises

Don't hesitate! It is very nice. The pantry option is well worth the 24 hour convenience store free options of drinks, great coffee machine, cereal and milk, sodas chips, chewy bars and ice creams

Our room was not ready until 5:20pm (check in is at 3pm). When we got to the room, it looked dirty and there was no toilet paper. We were tired and had to wait in the lobby

We had a wonderful stay…this was also our early anniversary present for ourselves, and Kimpton spoiled us with a custom framed photo with our love song printed inside, yummy treats, and a complimentary bottle of wine! So far the stay is great. The front desk attendants are quick and polite. The location is pretty close to a few good places to eat and in a good neighborhood. Rooms are clean and the service is great.

The hotel is in a good location, with many restaurants and a Walmart around. The room is OK, there is no electric kettle and slippers. But the facilities are old, it should be an old hotel

I got in earlier than I expected and several hours before check-in. It was very cold out and I was tired from the flight. The front desk checked me in early and invited me to breakfast with hot coffee

The Chestnut Inn is a historic hotel in an interesting area with quirky shops to explore, great architecture and a variety of restaurants in easy walking distance

The close proximity of Chestnut Hill Brewing Company and the market together with the hotel restaurant Angelina’s allowed us enjoy different dining options all of which were very pleasant Our experience was made all the more enjoyable by the hotel staff in every area who were very affable and helpful and clearly enjoyed their job We would be very happy to return again

We loved this hotel! The atmosphere is warm and relaxing. Check-in was pleasant and welcoming. The entire staff is friendly yet professional. Room was clean and bed extremely comfortable with very nice linen

Right opposite Reading Terminal Market. Train station across the road too, How more central can you get. Food right across the road everything is so convenient we walked everywhere in Philadelphia.

Parking can be a bit tricky to find nearby—the closest option costs about $80 per night, while a slightly farther multi-level garage is more affordable at around $50–60 per night

The hotel is right across from Reading Terminal Market, which is convenient for buses, the market, and Chinatown, but there seem to be a lot of homeless people around
