Not impressed, should have 3 stars at most. Terrible front desk check-in service, severely understaffed, painfully long wait times. Waited until 6pm (official check-in time is 4pm) to get a phone call about a booked room becoming available. Had to stand in 30 min line to get room keys after I was already checked-in earlier after standing in a similar line. Housekeeping couldn't keep up with cleaning...
Great location. Acceptable service levels. Amenities can be better.
Next to Reading Terminal Market
The hotel's right in the middle of everything, which is great. The rooms are modern, which is good. Unfortunately, the 4,000 person conference here this weekend is clogging the elevators and on site restaurant.
There's been 10-15 min waits for the elevator on the 13th Street side. There was a 15-20 wait to be seated for the buffet brunch at 13.
It's probably not always like this, but the chaotic...
Super nice hotel with a great location right near the market. Other restaurants are nearby, as is the convention center. Great lobby and social meeting area. The room was nice and special thanks to Fajah for ensuring I had a room with a view. Fajah was very professional and laughed at my dumb jokes I used to relax myself after dealing with foot and vehicle traffic to get to the hotel. Highly recommend...

Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown
Philadelphia, 201 North 17th Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The first room we got had something electrical sticking out of the wall, an outlet cover missing, and the rug was all messed up. They quickly got us into a suite and gave us two complimentary breakfast vouchers (usually $21/person) So I can’t complain about their service.
Their breakfast was pretty good, but what really made my experience at this whole hotel was the service of Donna in the breakfast...
During this visit I was at the Sheraton attending conference session. The conference was primarily located at the Convention Center. The Sheraton is a great venue but the two places are about 10 minutes walking distance from each other. Driving takes just as long if not longer. The Sheraton has great spaces for events of all sizes. The higher rooms have great views (a friend was staying here). The...
Lucky to get a last minute room for the Eagle's parade! The concierge (Mary?)was super super professional and happy to help with anything, such as driving directions and dinner reservations. The lobby was filled with families in town for the celebration, so it was a party atmosphere, and everybody was in a good mood, despite the long check-in lines. Our membership allowed us to have a very quick check...
We had an incredible experience at this hotel. Even though we arrived extremely early, our room was ready on the 24th floor with an outstanding view. We cannot choose one staff member over another because everyone was friendly an courteous. This hotel is located within walking distance of many attractions. The Starbucks cafe is a plus!
Location kinda sucks because it's close to highway and construction but nice staff and clean rooms.
Was skeptical after some reviews but had a nice stay. Room was clean and comfy. Halls are kinda dark. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location good. Rooms need fridge & safe being you are in city. Parking is pricey but convenient. Food & bar were good. Coffee morning lady super nice! Overall decent stay.

Clean, updated room. I was in a quiet alcove but my neighbors were exceptionally loud and slamming doors late at night and early in am. I’ve stayed here before and enjoy the accommodations.
Initially wanted and double bed room but at the time of my booking they only had kind size with an option of a roll away. When I checked in they had a last minute cancellation and put us in a a beautiful double room with amazing city views!
It was exciting to stay in a building of historical architectural significance. Nice art deco details in the rooms. The king bed is lovely though surprisingly short. Good thing my 6'3" husband didn't come along because he'd be flush to the head board! The hotel is a block away from Reading Terminal and there are many very nice restaurants and pubs withing walking distance.
The room is modern but a bit small. It is difficult to compare American hotels with Asian hotels where amenities like shaving and toothbrushing needs are also met. No re-usable paper slippers are available in the room as well, not to mention free bottled water. The price is not highly competitive though. One good thing is that extension of my checkout time to 4pm only required me to pay an extra small...
Great Hotel right in downtown. Walking distance to many places you will want to visit in Philadelphia.
The rooms are very nice and clean. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and updated.
The front desk was very nice and accommodating.
2 blocks from Redding Market Place.
About 5 blocks from Convention center.
Many other great places and sites nearby.
Excellent hotel. The location was perfect- right near many restaurants, shopping areas, and bars. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The gym, wet sauna, and dry sauna are included with your stay. The wifi signal was strong and I did not have any issues with it. The bed was extremely comfy and the view from the 24th floor was gorgeous. The hotel bar was convenient as well...

Awesome staff! Clean, spacious rooms, centrally located. Breakfast always served with a smile! Vivian, the manager was amazing! Beautiful views of the city.
We came to stay at the Notary hotel in downtown Philadelphia during our first visit to the city. We arrived around 8 AM for check-in, and we were surprised as to how quickly the front desk staff were able to accommodate us. Tiara (front desk staff) was very professional and friendly and as a Marriott titanium member, we were able to receive a complimentary suite upgrade during a 8 AM check in on a...
We arrived to a warm and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The room was clean and ready for us. We stayed 5 nights and explored the city. We ate at the restaurant downstairs and it was good. The service was great everywhere in the hotel. We did not order room service so I can’t tell you about it. I can tell you that the hotel staff went above and beyond when I did leave something behind...
A decent hotel. It’s nice to be in a historic building. But the hotel seems to be still lacking staff a couple months into the second half of 2022. A couple examples:
1. housekeeping services are not provided daily and you have to request one day earlier. The worse part is nobody would tell you this until you asked about housekeeping.
2. They always only had one person working at the front desk, even...
We had the absolute best stay at the Notary Hotel in Center City Philly! The front desk let us check in a bit early to drop our bags off and the room was clean and modern! They even heard we were having a girls day and brought up robes, slippers, and treats for our spa night as a surprise! Breakfast was also delicious downstairs the next morning. Such an awesome location for sightseeing and spending...
My family and stayed one night for a wedding. When I arrived with my wife and young daughter, it was brutally hot. Check-in was originally 4pm, so we requested a 3:45 check-in so we would have enough time to get to our room and change before a shuttle arrived at 4:30. We checked in via the mobile app and thought we would be given the key quickly so we could be on our way. Nope. I understand the staff...

Great location, close to everything. Reasonable price for parking. Nice stay for us.
Was a good experience. A little disappointed on room service as it closes at 10pm .. The welcome cookies were awesome !!! Over all it was a good experience
We loved our stay and would gladly come again! This was a very last minute trip, and we managed to get a very good rate for this hotel. We had no idea what to expect, and we found it to be one of the nicer hotels in its price range that we’ve stayed at!
Our room was very clean and cozy with a beautiful panoramic view. While the furnishings weren’t brand new, they feel clean and definitely updated...
My only complaint about my room was that it was so close to the elevator, and I could hear some metallic sound from it. Not really a big deal, but worth noting. Room was otherwise nice, staff was courteous (even with a booking issue, though that was my fault honestly). Super close walk to the convention center, and plenty of food options close by.
We inadvertantly booked Trip.com instead of Hilton directly as I always do. 2 rooms. When we arrived, one room was ready but the other was not. They told us to come back closer to 2pm. We did. Wasn't ready. Come back closer to 3pm, and we were told, "it may be closer to the guaranteed time of 4pm." We had reservations and that would push us. However, we came back at 3 and were told that "because...

Location is great! I reserved through a 3 party so the room choice was definitely anyone’s guess, but David was so accommodating. I have a really early day tomorrow as I’m starting a new role and wanted a quieter space. The front desk was very helpful in changing rooms quickly for me to get a good nights rest. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the city.
Location couldn’t have been better! You are within walking distance to everything. The rooms are slightly dated (carpet was weathered and our bathroom mirror had cracks around it). The room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was very kind. The AC was struggling. We kept it on the entire time we were there and the temp in the room was uncomfortably warm. Bathroom products were also empty upon check...
Location was great! You’re within walking distance of everything. The only con is we were staying there at the same time a wedding was going on. A guest said over 200 people were staying there. The hotel has 4 elevators but only had one working. Elevators were packed so you had to go back to your room and wait for the party to leave. There were no signs stating you couldn’t use the stairs to get out...
Didn't get to enjoy the pool since it was closed for the season (stayed in October), that would've made my visit! The room was nice, we had a corner, so we had a little view down the road instead of just an airshaft. Bustling hotel, seemed like a lot of folks were visiting to enjoy a sporting event, but I was present for a wedding. Like others have said, the valet was indeed very slow. I'm glad I...

Staff was friendly, location was handy. The restaurant and bar were amazing!
My husband and I arrived at the hotel without a reservation, and decided last minute to try and get a room there. We were met at the front desk by Byron and he was just amazing!!!! What a perfect example of 5-star-customer service!! Even when he had to decline some of our requests, he made sure to offer an alternative. It was never "sorry, no, can't do that", it was "...but here is what I CAN do.....
Thought the hotel was great, convenient being attached to the airport terminal. I would have liked to see a little easier to access info on what the walking distances to each terminal were. I think you can access all the terminals on foot, A& B are directly connected but C&D it’s not clear if you can walk it or do you need the shuttle. The shuttle was fine to get us to D but if you have to take the...
So I paid for my stay with points. The price/point tag was almost$ 500 a night. I saw online that it was possible to book in the 360 $ range. This is crazy money.
Alright the location is sweet, walk on a sky ridge to Terminal B and the rental car drop offs are across the streets. BUT this place needs some TLC.
It was very busy, and maybe they can't fit maintenance into the schedule. For ~400$ a night...
I stay at PHL Marriott whenever I have to catch an early morning flight. It’s attached to the airport and just a short walk to the terminal. The hotel staff are exceptionally kind and professional. The view was gorgeous and the people were extremely friendly and helpful. However, the room was not as clean as I would expect for a hotel this expensive. There was old trash in both trash cans from before we got there, hair on the bathroom floor and in the bathtub, dusty furniture, no ice bucket bag (not sure if this is normal for a nice hotel though), a nearly empty conditioner bottle that barely...
The location of this hotel is nice. Good walking distance to several tourist areas and event centers. However, for how much the rooms cost I would have expected a nicer room. The desk chair is damaged and ripping as the seems. The shower is old and rusty with a bathroom that could use some updating. Additionally the toilet was broken when we came in and the sink does not drain well at all. I also noticed...
We stayed at this hotel for an industry conference. The catering is good for convention food but the restaurant food is much better. The hotel was very nice. The Agent at the desk, was very friendly and put us in a room with a view. The area around the hotel had everything we needed and also conveniently located off the highway. The hotel is located close to the City Hall, in the downtown center of Philadelphia. The Philadelphia City Hall is a landmark building in American history. Its clock tower is taller than the Big Ben in the UK. You can climb to the top to visit. The hotel lobby is very grand, with a marble dome-shaped roof and transparent glass in the middle that can see the sky. The service is warm and polite. Recommended
Adequate service, stunning view, outrageous geographical location.
Excellent service from all staff, including valet, bellhop, concierge, check in and cocktail bar. Great view from well-appointed and spacious room.

Nice place to stay before an early flight. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good and the drinks well made. The hotel is old and in desperate need of a remodel. For the rate they charge better amenities are expected especially the smaller details such as lamps, irons, ironing board, shower curtains
Location is great, quite near downtown and quiet. Parking is available and not highway robbery price-wise. Rooms have plenty of space and lots of power outlets. Door on bathroom wasn't working well, however.
Great Hilton property. Staff was very helpful. The only draw back was that the restaurant did not have someone to seat us when we came in. Ended up at the bar for dinner.

This hotel is wonderfully located. The beds were comfortable, rooms are big and clean. Breakfast staff were nice.
The Sofitel is a very nice hotel that's a short walk from Rittenhouse Square and 30th Street Station. Our room had a nice view of other buildings, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. For family travel, I'd note that their rooms with 2 beds have full beds rather than queen size, and the bathroom panels do not have locks. Personable and friendly staff but rooms are tired

Loved this hotel. I only stay in Hilton properties. The size of the suites are very large and spacious! Yes the bathrooms are a little small and the tubs could use some TLC however they are clean. Very nice hotel in a great location if you’re doing the city tour thing. Rooms were on the small size, as advertised, and the bathroom had a vent box which took up a bit of space. The decor was funky but fun.
The big downside for us was no bell service when we drove up. There were 4 or 5 valets, but we were self parking around the corner, but no one to help us with our bags. We found someone after...
Excellent hotel, accepts pets! And great staff

The Windsor Suites Philadelphia

My husband and i stayed in one of the skyline suites. It was a very nice room and although we didn’t have a microwave in our room, the decor and view from the top floor was nothing short of amazing!!! We had 24hr access to the lounge which was also amazing the view was just breathtaking (no microwave in there to heat our food up though). My husband went to their gym, he said the equipment was excellent...
This hotel rooms were pretty nice and had a reasonable price per night. The kitchens were very helpful and the beds were comfortable; you can also control the temperature of the room. Also, downstairs by the lobby of the hotel there is the Con Murphy’s Irish pub which has some great food; flatbreads and burgers and sandwiches and beers. We went there a couple times during our stay, definitely recommended
My husband and I had our second stay at the Windsor. We just love the spacious rooms and balconies. This weekend was unseasonably warm and their air did not work. The room was stifling. When I called to ask for help I was not satisfied with her answer. I proceeded to not be so nice (not my proudest moment) I was hot and agitated. The young lady Sam was able to make it right and then some. Things happen...
First, there was no room service for the entire stay. No heater inside of the bathroom, and the A/C unit did not produce any heat when I switched it to Good morning, overall the trip was awesome. Views were very nice and the outside atmosphere was amazing. Everything was right at our fingertips for the most part. There were a few things wrong with the room. Here is a list of them. Room service, there...
Had an amazing stay this weekend! The desk staff are awesome and the hotel is in an amazing location. Not sure why some of the reviews complain about street noise, any hotel in the downtown area will have that issue. The restaurants next door are phenomenal. The hotel provides very high quality showering products and a nice coffee bar in the morning. The windows in the rooms also have a lovely view...
The room I was in was very comfortabl with an amazing view of the city. The two restaurants downstairs we're both great as well. If I have an opportunity to stay here again I will. The walk to the convention center was also brief.

in the Upenn, good location. everything is good. the trustworthy brand.
Location perfect for access to local colleges and city. Easy to get to. Restaurant staff and valet service - both excellent. Rooms were ok. Beds seemed smaller than your typical double. Cleanliness was also questionable- upon getting to the room - dirty/used towels remained in a hamper under the sink, and the end table and desk were pretty dusty.
The staff: Michael, Robert, Angela, Leneese and a gentleman at the front desk (who's name I didn't get) where so kind and accommodating. The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice and equipped to meet my needs as a disabled person. I would stay there again and will recommend it to my friends.
Great service from the valets "louis" goes above and beyond. Hes the reason i gave four stars instead of three.
Our room however had the faint smell of fish i let the front desk know, they offered to move us but we had already unpacked everything so we CHOSE to stay there my wife had some citrus spray that helped. Restaurants in the hotel were so overpriced it was sad.
Perfect location. Adjacent to the bookstore, across the road from Huntsman Hall, two blocks down from Hill.
Rooms were comfortable, though bathroom door was hard to slide shut at times for some reason. Appreciated the Crabtree & Evelyn toiletry (my favourite).
Concierge & valet staff were very hospitable and helpful. Breakfast a la carte at University Club was one of the best I’ve had in a while...
Great hotel, lived up to expectations. Clean, lots of space, kind staff. Room service meals could be better, but within what you would expect at a hotel like this. I will come back.

I've had 2 stays in 2 years for hospital appointments. Both have been very positive experiences. Friendly staff, clean rooms & good location. The only picky-thing I would say is if you're particular about pillows, bring your own. They're pillows were not my favorite, so I'll bring my own next time. But other than that, hotel is great!
Overall a good day. There was an issue with the window in the room but that was being looked into. It's a basic no frills kind of hotel. The only thing I was sorry about was going there for breakfast one morning. The breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired.
The staff is super attentive and friendly. They will help you out and are very understanding.
The rooms are nice and comfortable. I appreciate...
The employees here are wonderful! Always helpful and friendly. We wished they'd have daily room service without having to reserve and install room safes. Having to use a safety box in the office is extremely inconvenient. A big shout out to Monet in housekeeping for going out of her way to get us a working iron. She's awesome! And very kind.
We stayed here over the weekend and it was the perfect hotel for our needs! The room was clean and comfortable and the location couldn’t have been more convenient to everything we had planned during our mini vacation! The staff was really great too. It’s so nice to be met with friendly faces! They were also very helpful!
The location is in Center Philadelphia, within a 40 minute walk or less of all the major landmarks. Parking is available for an additional fee. The rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable with a couch, desk, and two televisions. A mini fridge and microwave are available which could be useful. All the rooms are on floors 7-10 of the building so most of them have a decent view of the city. All the...
Excellent central location. Right next door to Reading Terminal Market. A few minutes to walk to downtown. Decent rooms, standard Hilton Garden Inn. Property was nicer than most Hilton Garden Inn. Air conditioner/thermostat is functional, not a placebostat. I'll look at this property next time I'm in downtown Philadelphia.
