After taking over under new ownership, I have to say that Magnolia has an exceptional management team! The staff is always so attentive to your needs to ensure you have the best possible stay. The hospitality from housekeeping to valet is A+. This team works so hard, especially under pressure... Downtown gets pretty chaotic and busy. They are always on top of it. Thank you for always taking care of my family, you all truly were a part of me! Kevin, his assistant manager, Garland, Sophia(s), and Lindsay... you all do a phenomenal job! Thank you! I can't wait for the gym and cookies and milk to come back soon! I need these two to balance out the laughter. Love you all!

We had a awesome time the room was great a lil hot we couldn’t get the ac to work right but everything else was wonderful!

The location is fantastic, very handy, can take train to and from airport, while the staff and the service not live up with our expectation. There were no room service daily if you need anything such as towers you needed to call or came to counter to order b4 9:00pm in order to get the amenities. The problem was the counter most of the time no one there you needed to wait at least 5 minutes to get attended. We stayed there for 4 nights, we did come to the counter when we left in the morning that towers replacement were needed, however, when we came back at night, no replacement was found, so we called in the next day when we were back, they then brought the amenities to us.

A very historical looking edifice, so cool. But age is catching up with the building. But it is still a nice short stay. The location is the redeeming factor. Needs a serious upgrade.

A hotel with a very historical feel. It's an old building, probably from the 1930s, and surprisingly, it's 30 stories high. Back then, it was likely the most luxurious building in Dallas, with a Shanghai-style feel—quite grand.
Service: The front desk upgraded me to a suite free of charge, which was excellent, and it even had a kitchen.
Cleanliness: Could be improved. The windows clearly hadn't been cleaned in years. The towels and bedding were also quite old.

Hotel room (and hotel in general) was hot all three days I was there. 80 degrees during the day and never got below 75 at night. No self parking and no where close to park, must use valet at $50/day. Towels, sheets and duvet were all very low quality and not what you expect from a 4* hotel. Will not be returning

The room was dark, dreary and beat up!! The windows were so dirty you could barely see the street. The lighting was so poor I had to move my suitcase to the window to see.

I would describe this place as 'Spartan'. Only pretending to be a luxury hotel because of the old building and the location. Once inside things are more run down. The room was tiny, had a rock hard bed, a TV from approximately 2008, and a dirty bathroom floor.
If you're traveling by car, I would find a nearby parking lot and walk your things over. The hotel only offers a valet for $45 dollars a night.
On the positive side, the location is excellent. The attached coffee shop, and AT&T plaza across the street offered great food, and its a very short trip to Deep Ellum with lots of things to do.
Overall experience is "Meh" for the price.

Apart from being in the city and having convenient transportation, there is really nothing to recommend it; it looks dirty.

Been here about 3 different times, sloooooow every time, bathrooms have been down every time and crowded eeeeverytime. I guess the only good thing has been it’s within walking distance so I dont have to find a new parking spot while working DT.

When they say freaky fast that is and understatement lol. I. Ordered my sandwich they immediately started it and before I could pull out my payment my sandwich was right in my face ready to eat! The ingredients were very fresh and I definitely enjoyed the fast service!

Called for delivery and the lady was super rude. Hung up on me after saying they don't deliver to a hotel (Lorenzo) that is 0.66mil away from location. eaten at JJ a ton of times prior, but this lady blew it for JJ for me from here forward. Best of luck to everyone else

I don't normally write reviews but this place has disappointed me one too many times. I've never had a bad experience with JJs until I moved here and tried this one. They always mess up some part of my order, and today was by far the worst.
I ordered a veggie sub (#6) with hot peppers. What came was cheese, avocado, and hot peppers on stale bread - stale enough that they had to cut the ends off before passing it off to me. So where are the veggies, you may ask? I'm wondering that too. If the lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers that normally come on a veggie were rotten, I'm glad they didn't put them on my sandwich. BUT AT LEAST CALL AND TELL ME SO I CAN CHANGE MY ORDER. Who wants a veggie sub without veggies?!?! And the avocado is turning brown anyway. I would've liked a chance to pick something worth eating instead of throwing away $9. I'm very disappointed, and I can't believe they would think it's ok to serve something like this. You can do better, Jimmy John's.

Food is delicious and waiters are nice. Unfortunately the first face you see as soon as you walk in is not. Extremely rude Hispanic girl with long hair, she is on her phone and does not greet or say 1 single word. Walks us to our table and walks off. I am starting to believe she is mute because we come every week and I have yet to hear her voice. Very very rude, unwelcoming, & unprofessional. Customer service is everything in a business and she definitely does not belong at the front as a hostess.

Service was lacking.. nice girl but she kept forgetting our orders. She was patient with us though. Chicken on a stick was good, rolls were good, and we had fun. Love this location right in the heart of the city!

The happy hour deals are ridiculous, in a good way. Not only is it longer than your typical happy hour but the deals are remarkable.
Decent sushi and extensive menu. Parking is particularly difficult so I would suggest riding the dart rail, which drops off literally right outside, or uber.
They are always packed at happy hour so either try to make a reservation or arrive an hour before it starts.

Come see Aboo ?... best bartender in town! Fast, nice pour on that alcohol, he's on it! Food is super delicious! Come to happy hour and you won't be disappointed. Great specials, servers, and food! Late night also A-1 ?

Delicious food! I love the variety of choices and the healthy selection of vegetarian options. It's located in an interesting part of town. 4-stars since I've only been here once but it could potentially earn a better rating soon!
