The hotel was very clean, and the staff were attentive, making for a very comfortable stay. The room was spacious and well-equipped, allowing me to fully recover from my travel fatigue. The location is also convenient, and I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Aside from one friendly guy at the front desk, the rest of the female staff were completely unhelpful and dismissive. Even more ridiculous, when I asked around 10:30 AM when the restaurant opened, they told me it wouldn't be open. I was confused and asked again if it wouldn't be open at all today, and they said yes. However, when I returned after lunch, it was clearly open. The hotel and restaurant front desk staff would practically only grunt one or two words in response to guests – it was absolutely outrageous.

Kaylee, Kevin & Tank offered me good customer service. The hotel location was key! The restaurant was closed so I ordered Door Dash also purchase snacks from their gift store. Room was comfy however this hotel could use a new set of towels. Bed & Pillows very comfortable. Safe Location & Effortless check out.

I stayed on the 5th floor, and the large window offered a nice view. The hotel forgot to provide a hairdryer in the room, so I had to borrow one from a colleague. The room was quite spacious, and the mattress was high and a bit soft.

The hotel is located near the city center. Parking costs $25 per night, but you can find free parking on the nearby streets. I stayed here for 5 nights, and overall it was okay. However, compared to other hotels in Houston at a similar price point, I probably wouldn't choose to stay here again. The elevators took too long, and the staff only spoke Spanish, no English.

It was pretty mediocre to be honest. I paid 17 dollars for breakfast and it was the same bland buffet every day and there were even flies in the buffet area. The server woman was really rude as well. Extremely low hospitality for a place like crowne plaza

What's noteworthy about this hotel is that they didn't refund the deposit as promised. My USD 117 deposit has not been returned until today (it’s been almost 2 months). They only promised to follow up on the case, but to date, nothing has been done.

The rooms were clean and the staff was nice but the hotel itself has issues. You can tell from the retro fitted outlets it’s an older hotel that’s been renovated. When we arrived one of the elevators were block off & broken down but 3 others were working. Our first night the air conditioning unit in half of the hotel went out and we woke up at 4:30 with our room 80 degrees and humid. They did move us to another room for the rest of our stay, so that was acceptable. It was a rough start but overall a pleasant experience.

Nicely appointed clean rooms. Excellent service and parking garage is good albeit expensive. Food is ok but nothing special. Beside a busy motorway (no noise) but not much ambiance. Nice neighborhood on the back side though. Can recommend Slowpoke cafe just a 5 minute walk away

Absolute garbage. No bottled water or kettle in the room. The mattress was sunken on the first day. We asked for a room change on the second day and were given a temporary room instead, as shown in the picture!

Usually I have a good experience here but we came in 20 minutes before close tonight & it was terrible. The cashier Abigail was informing everyone who chose to eat their dessert there that they were closing soon in a very rude way. We took ours to go: a cookie, a brownie and 2 petit fours. I asked for the tree & santa petit four because I thought they were so cute. I got the tree but not the santa when I asked twice. They threw all 4 desserts in a small to go container and my petit fours were basically crumbling. Neither employee ever even made eye contact with us. Terrible experience and makes me not want to come back.

Exceptional desserts. My wife and I love their cupcakes and specialty cookies. The key lime pie is outstanding. Best desserts in Houston.

The pastored did look good but I just came here for a coffee. I ordered and overpriced Americano ($3.79) and for that price I would have expected really good coffee and a really good pull. This was just flat . Additionally loud 80s disco music was playing non stop , how is that good for a cafe atmosphere at 10:30am? I hate to say this but for coffee today do better going to Starbucks

Joann is one of the rudest and impolite employees I have ever encountered. She appeared as though my husband and I were annoying her when we walked up to the register. Not the "high smileage" experience at all. If you are going to have an attitude, do not even show up for work. Sara needs to give joann a class on good customer service because she lacks in that area. It's unfortunate that this happened but I think that it's really important for you to know what type of people are representing your business. Will not be back.

The minute a walked in I felt like I walked outside. It feels as though there is an outside section and an inside section all the while its just all inside. Upon being seated, our waiter gave us warm wet towels to warm our hands with. The table set up sparks conversation. And you can see the raw sushi bar and its soldiers well at work. The food is on a different level from the less expensive sushi restaraunts my wife and I eat at and they seem to be plated with a ginger flavor at the bottom. They come on some type of rock plate. Which is very nice might I add. I'd recommend that you go well dressed. Some people come casual but there is a business persons / date night grown and sexy atmosphere here.

Very high quality food at a high quality price point. It is definitely worth the money though. The rolls are very creative, using traditional Japanese ingredients along with fresh local ingredients to highlight classic flavors, and the sushi is outstandingly fresh. I highly reccomend the mackerel, it is seasoned and garnished perfectly.

The quality of food at Kata Robata is impeccable. I have never been disappointed during the past 3 years of going her regularly. I love both the hot and raw dishes. You can't go wrong with anything!

Omakase blew my mind. Our server was unbelievably knowledgeable and professional. The selection of fish was was other worldly. Price for two with a couple of drinks and an extra round of new Zealand king salmon (heavenly) was around $400 (gratuity included... But you should tip extra because service was that good).

My fiance and I were celebrating her birthday here and unfortunately we both got very ill after eating here. She got hospitalized with stomach pain and 105°F fever. While I had extreme stomach pain. I understand the risk of sushi but this place needs to triple check their suppliers so as to minimize that risk as much as possible. We both never had any issues with any sushi place before we tried this place. It was a scary ordeal.
