The Westin Houston, Memorial City in Houston

This was my first visit, and I was very disappointed. The wait was over 2 hours, I know I know why wait. Well this was my nephew's birthday, and I didn't want to be a scrooge about the wait.
Well we finally got seated outside in the cold not much of a bother, well long story short. Would have had a better meal at Jack in box. thanks cheesecake factory. You have really shown me the appreciation for fast food and their service practices.

WOW, WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!! After being regular customers at this establishment for years even driving past the one at the Galleria to come to this one service today was extremely unacceptable. I had ordered a dish that I had previously ordered several times and I have an allergy I asked that I have no mushrooms in the meal due to an allergy which I have done several times in the past with no problem. So after being at our table for over 30 minutes our server comes back and tells us the kitchen has informed him they've changed the recipe and there's actually a mushroom powder in the food. Which I completely understand if the restaurant has had a change in the recipe. What I can't understand is the first set of appetizers we ordered was so greasy it was disgusting, can we send it back and ask them to fix it even the waiter was like wow that's a lot of Grease! So then the second order comes out a little less greasy but with the wrong side. So I ask to speak to a manager because at this point it is been over 30 minutes my husband and kids are waiting to eat and now they're telling me I need to choose something else and they will have to cook it. So after asking to speak to a manager I have said here and waited another 30 minutes because he is tied up with someone else. So we have been seated at our table for over an hour the only food that was served with bread that was so cold it would not melt butter,an appetizer we had to send back it still didn't come back correct. And we are still sitting here to wait on a manager. WHAT A JOKE!!! This used to be a really classy find establishments to eat at but trust me don't waste your time or your money. So after an hour and a half we left with no food, after speaking to the manager, all we got was an apology and told we had been misinformed.
