Went to this hotel for a company meeting, lasted a few days, their internal restaurant is absolutely amazing! They served breakfast lunch and dinner for us! Loved everything I had!
Their service was outstanding, everyone was very polite and respectful.
Beautiful lobby and conference hall.
They had a nice bar with plenty of options, as well as an internal store you could find anything needed.

The guys in valet parking were also friendly and helped direct me a few times.

Great job Houston Galleria

I booked this hotel in mid-February through my company’s online travel agency. When I arrived at the hotel at 8 PM, the receptionist notified me that all rooms were sold out and they didn’t have a room for me. I found out there was a Convention happening in the town that week. They told me that they made a reservation at the Holiday in Express nearby. When they complained that I was meeting another coworker at the hotel and I didn’t need to stay in the same hotel, They kept telling me that are not available for me and nine other guests . The female manager also said they will pay for my Uber to the Holiday-inn Express. When I arrived at the Holiday—Inn, they told me that there was no room available for me. I contacted my company’s travel agency, and they found me a room much more expensive, over $600 a night; however, as I had no choice, I had to move to the hotel. Next two days I called the Royal Seneste Hotel’s manager trying to be paid for my Uber charges from the hotel to Holiday-inn to the new hotel, she would not answer my calls or called me back. Both the receptionist and the manager were extremely rude at the desk, and they were not even apologetic. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I told my co-workers to avoid this hotel as well.

Very noisy room. You can hear the highway a lot ! The parking is crazy expensive on top of very expensive rooms... Breafast is much better in the small restayrant nearby.

Conclusion : go elsewhere, there are better places around. Staff is friendly, but the manager should really review the policies and invest more in the infrastructure!

Pretty mixed on this place. The property is nice and well landscapes, the lobby, bar and restaurant are and convention floors are very well done, and the staff was great! But the rooms are VERY average for the price. Bedding and pillows are average, the bathroom felt very old and the carpets didn’t seem super clean. All around an “ok” stay. I expected better for the cost

This is hands down one of the best hotels that I have stayed at. The valets offer fast and excellent service. The bellhop was very nice and assisted with grace and swift assistance. The front staff was attentive to delivered outstanding service both person to person and any inquiries via room phone. The room I stayed in had a lovely view of the Uptown area, and had one of the most comfortable mattresses I have slept on. The restrooms had every amenity need just in case you forgot a toiletry, and that was a nice touch. The shower had great water pressure and a long lasting heat. I unfortunately had a tumble in my room and security ensured that the EMT’s were able to get to me rapidly and that I had a wheelchair available in case I needed it, and I appreciate that. The room service was amazing and was delivered quickly. The Red Velvet pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and the breakfast potatoes were well seasoned and flavorful. The attendant even educated me on the Yuka fries that come with the Ribeye and they were spot on, I really enjoyed them and the tender succulent steak as well. One of the best reasons to return is the fact that it is centrally located and anything you can think of from shops like DXL or a nice restaurant, and even museums are only about 10-15 minute's away from the Royal Sonesta. I will definitely give this place 5 out of 5 stars and recommend that you make the Royal Sonesta your go to hotel for your next trip or even a staycation whenever you are in Houston. The experience was phenomenal and the entire staff made this a great stay, I really appreciate everyone at the Royal Sonesta - Houston Galleria.

old spec hard wares, high price mineral water and beverage service, noisy atmosphere, friendly and quick response clerks, high quality breakfast but expensive. No good restaurant around. Totally expensive price for the services than expected.

Four of us visited Maggiano’s a few days ago. We hadn’t been in some time. We really enjoyed the experience. The wait staff was courteous and attentive despite a large crowd. I had the Pesto Perlini Mozzarella, and it was fantastic. Overall, a great time was had by all. Dessert put me over the top, but it was worth it.

I had a great experience here. The food was delicious. Everyone at my table was very satisfied with their meals. The service was also excellent! They are very accommodating to food allergies, gluten intolerance and any other dietary restrictions that people may have. The portions are quite large and very filling. The restaurant is also within a two minute walk from the Hilton.

We had fantastic service here! And my goodness it's a lot of food. Get their classic pastas and you get a take home "gift", which is a complete second batch of pasta to eat later. We got the dinner for 2, and it was like 40 bucks for 2 pastas, 2 take home pastas, an appetizer, and a dessert. Holy cow I was full, but it was good! I hadn't been in a very long time, but I'll definitely be going back again! Good atmosphere, but don't feel like you've got to dress up a ton to eat there. Overall good food, good service, good prices, everything you can ask for really.

They accommodated a large group (13) for dinner, despite us booking a reservation that day, and when we stayed late (well as closing) they didn't rush us at all. We did the family style menu, and the food really is bottomless (pace yourself!) and the menu has all the classics you would expect. Thanks for making a family event really easy to plan and delicious and fun!

Not worth a single star! I walked in and (after scurrying through empty dining rooms to answer, they asked "How can I help you" as though I'm not at a restaurant to be seated and served. I asked to sit on the patio. The server comes out twice and has yet to acknowledge my presence but she has looked my way both times. I call the restaurant, since I know how important answering the phone is, to have a server come to the table. The same lady who scurried over me when I arrived answered and asked if I'd seated myself because she didn't know anyone was on the patio. Do.e to find out the server who looked at me didn't know I was there either. My meal came with silverware wrapped in a napkin pre-stained with marinara , chicken boiled to a mushy demise bit complimented with noodles so firm I was tired of chewing it after the second bite all in a watery sauce that had absolutely no flavor. I was so hungry when I got there, I'm don't think I had the energy to be upset but trust me when I say I will NEVER be that hungry again.
