Clean room, spacious enough for a family of four. Staff is outstanding! Great customer service; they make you feel at home. Our car battery went out, the manager was kind enough to take us to get a replacement one

There is no restaurant or kitchen service that I saw but it is a tiny inn. Neighborhood around it seems sketchy but had no issues at all walking at night. If you're up for it can walk to Riverwalk

The price for the quality of the hotel is also very good! The only thing to be aware of is that the area between the hotel and downtown near the train tracks can be a bit sketchy after sundown, so plan accordingly

The room was large and clean. I especially enjoyed how quiet it was given how close it was to downtown. It was also safe. There is a secure entrance for those who have checked in, and the parking area is well-lit.

Room was super clean and functional. Front desk staff were beyond friendly. We just stayed one night for Paul McCartney at the Alamodome, so this was the perfect option for a quick stay. Really easy walk to the Dome

Hotel is clean, quiet, and well maintained. The air conditioning in the room worked great! It's within 10-20 minute walking distance of the Alamodome and the San Antonio convention center

No ice machines working vending machine broke Great Service and workers but no hand towels. And minimal support and hospitality. Exclusive retreat for me and my future.

Rooms have a phone and flatscreen TV. Excellent housekeeping staff that goes the extra mile. I give a rating of 4 stars. I deducted one star because of a disturbing encounter with security upon my check-out

I checked into Motel 9 around 11:00 p. The clerk was attentive, friendly, and asked if I wanted a smoking or non-smoking room. He booked me a room for four nights @ $@233. ) Weekend rates are little pricey

Rooms are clean, newly remodeled and in good condition. Front desk staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. Soft drinks are for sale in the lobby for a $1. An ice machine is located near the office

I would most definitely use this motel again, and I recommend it for long-term stay Sunday - Thursday

The staff is outrageously unbelievably phenomenal especially Jose I don't want to down anyone else jaylene also you go but the two that I have had the most contact with Maria housekeeping Jose and jaylene and I don't want to give him anything to clash over but Jose is number one jaylene is number two Maria's number three and so on :-)

Despite what it looks like on the outside, the service and the attention is top tier. New management is working hard to make the place succeed. Sheets were good, water was hot, good night sleep

I will definitely come back again on my next visit

The place is very clearly under remodeling and is making improvements. Looking forward to see how it ends up. Definitely ask for a remodeled room when you go

The difference between an old room and a new rooms night and day. Definitely would not want to stay on one of the old ones

The rooms didn't look exactly like the pictures but they still worked for my family. We never had an issues when we needed extra towels or the bedding changed. This hotel is super close to the air force base

Office Had The Greatest Hospitality That I Have Ever Received In Any 5 Star Hotel Not To Mention Their Staff Was Wonderful And Very Quick To Get You Any Amenities Required

I love how it's close to Lackland Airforce Base. And all the main stores and food chains are nearby. This is my 2nd stay here and I've never had any problems there

It's in close proximity to the necessities and airport and not too far a drive to everywhere else. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others

My room was clean and cleaned everyday for 2 weeks. The breakfast is packed unless you get in early. I'd get a made to order omelette and go back to bed

The lobby attendant didn't bother removing dirty towels from the pool; there were no towels and the trash was full :( but the room attendants do a good job at cleaning the rooms

The morning after, the manager told us all the places we can visit and even told us the festival they will have in April. All the staff were extremely helpful and so far they are the best hotel I have ever stayed in

Bathroom was a little dirty. Coffee was not available in the morning, morning front desk clerk was not attentive. Other than those details, a charming hotel room with a lovely balcony, and close to the River walk.

Gorgeous location, stunning building, and the BEST service. My wife and I spent our wedding night there and the room had an issue or two but only things that are totally explainable with the buildings age

The old fashioned was by far the best I’ve had around town. To cap off the evening was the Burlesque show by The Dollhaus, they simply brought that proper burlesque show experience and showgirl class

This amazing gem is tucked away in downtown San Antonio. The front entrance just exudes decadence. The dining experience was by far a foodies dream, the cocktails in the Havana bar were amazing

This place has the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. I’ve stayed at Drury, Holiday, Ritz Carlton etc. and THIS PLACE takes the cake with their BEDS. It’s like floating on a cloud, you feel weightless

The bed was comfortable, not soft, but not firm either. It is right outside the gate to Lackland, going there for a graduation made this place very convenient to stay in. Staff was kind and more than accommodating

Everything was great the only thing that was kinda scary is that we got stuck in the elevator for a couple of mins but man those mins to me felt long lol especially I have bad anxiety but thank god my husband was there with me but over all everything and everyone was great and nice will be coming back for sure

They are remodeled but, a little dirty. Restroom smelled bad. There was plenty of hot water, comfy bed, no bed bugs.

Traffic from the interstate can be loud at times though. A negative thing about this hotel is that it is a pretty old building, but you get what you pay for. Overall, for my 2 night stay, this hotel was pretty good

The location of the hotel was really convient to my visit. It is near shopping centers, restaurnts and nightlife locations. The staff is fast and helpful. Breakfast is average for a hotel thats not 5 stars

Stay in room was comfortable and clean. Was especially quite for a Saturday night stay. Sorry to see coffee makers taken out of rooms and no offering of qiuck breakfasts.

Room and bathroom are clean but dated. Refrigerator was working but listed to the left. Tried to take a dip in the pool, but pool was so cloudy. For one night to rest while on the road it served its purpose

With hotels, the doors to the rooms you stay in open up to the inside of the building itself, adding another layer of protection in my opinion. They make me feel safer personally, and I find hotels to be quiter

This was a last minute booking. I was really hoping for a bit more from the La Quinta name. The place was clean, per say, there was mold in the shower. Large hole in the frame of the bathroom door

The is the best pedestrian hotel in the downtown area with the Pearl market being very close by along with a portion of the extended river walk. Downtown shopping is a stone throws away

If you care about safety and convenience this is the place to stay. Nearby is vegetarian options and other quality food choices

Very safe place to be in, they have cameras everywhere taking care of vehicles and hospital services are very close

My experience with Miss Gretchen the front desk associate was fast very informational about all the rooms the hotel had to offer Miss Gretchen was also extremely polite

I was given a double queen bed room that was recently remodeled. I have not seen one roach and the plumbing and the shower and the AC unit runs excellent

Upon my arrival I noticed that the parking lot was clean. As I head into the office up to the front desk it smelled welcoming and pleasant

Only downside of this hotel is the parking is valey only. Other than that, their location is perfect and we had a wonderful stay even if it was only one night. I also liked the hotel has laundry rooms in different floors

There were some coffee stains on the counter and unflushed tissue in the toilet during walk-through. There was no parking on the premises due to being full from other guests so we had to park on the street

My family and I stayed here for two nights, we checked in on Christmas Eve. The front desk clerk was very friendly and the valet parking lot attended was very nice as well. The rooms were very clean and comfortable

The food at the hotel is relatively good. It’s just that there aren’t many choices of tea bags. For some reason, the tea bags I drank on the first day no longer appear, leaving only one choice

After finally checking in, I was seated by the pool, where people were playing music and talking late at night – it was unsafe and very noisy. The room also had a damp smell, and there were moths in the bathroom

This stay as well as all the other comfort inn and suites has been the best. The staff are pleasant, you can have a conversation with them if they are not busy. The full breakfast is always good

Everything was well maintained. Shower took way too long to get to the temperature I wanted though. The room service was great, they changed the towels everyday

Floors are a little dirty, but other than that, it's a great place if you just plan on sleeping there. We didn't spend much time there, so it was exactly what we needed and very affordable!

The best thing was the room. Full kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher, etc. It was clean and plenty of space for two people. The staff was happy and helpful.

I would have submitted an excellent however enspit of me asking for the room to be cleaned no one came the day i scheduled it. I stayed over 4 days and still the room wasn't serviced.

It was a good deal for the week we stayed there but definitely a "get what you pay for" experience. The rooms definitely could use a renovation, or even just some upgrades (for example, the TVs were small and old)

For the past month there is only one dryer that you have to tape closed and pray it stays closed & even then you are lucky to get your clothes to dry at all. I wanted to point this out to long term people

Also breakfast ends pretty early (8:30). Probably fine for their normal business clients, but for vacation it was a bummer. Nothing was bad, but nothing was really great either

Motel 6 does not roll out the red carpet for anyone at any location so I'm not sure why there are negative reviews here. It's a clean, safe and quiet place for a good price. Exactly what you're looking for

The motel had it very distinct smell to it upon walking inside. The staff was for the most part relatively nice. The rooms were okay, but they definitely could use a makeover
