Tilyakori Hotel in Samarkand

Excellent service. We didn't have breakfast included, but they accommodated us and provided breakfast. They also helped with transportation 👍🏻💯

Prime location, just steps from the central square. It's a charming, unpretentious property. The rooms overlook an interior courtyard/terrace; they're basic but spotlessly clean! The staff is absolutely fantastic!!! Highly recommended!

The staff was kind and helpful. However, when I tried to turn on the hot water, reddish water that smelled of iron came out. If I used that water to take a shower, it would obviously make my body smell worse than before, so I couldn't take a shower.
Other than that, it was a fine place to stay.

We stayed at this hotel with our family of four, including two kids, and overall had a great experience. The location is unbeatable – just steps away from Registan Square, making it easy to visit all the main attractions in Samarkand without the need for long commutes. While the rooms were a bit small, it wasn’t much of an issue since we spent most of our time exploring the city. The breakfast was satisfying, and the lady at the restaurant went out of her way to make a few extra pancakes for our kids, which was a thoughtful touch. Every night, the hotel provided us with bottled water (one per person), which was appreciated, and on our last day, they kindly packed breakfast for us to take on the road. The only downside was the price they charged for the train station pickup, which was significantly higher than what you’d pay using Yandex. That said, everything else was excellent, and I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Samarkand.

If you are seeking a warm and inviting atmosphere for your visit to Samarkand, I would strongly suggest considering this hotel. The level of service provided by the staff exceeded all expectations, despite their limited English proficiency, their communication through genuine smiles was truly heartwarming. The hotel's location is conveniently within walking distance to Registan, and if you require a tour guide, Bakodir comes highly recommended.The breakfast served at the hotel is reminiscent of a homemade meal, prepared with care and sure to tantalize your taste buds.

This guesthouse is located just a few minutes of walking from Registan, the main sight of Samarkand. It seems to be a family-run guesthouse, with the mother cooking breakfast, the father giving advice and the son driving (picking up from the airport). All this gives that place a nice feeling of being warmly welcome. The room is not very big but it is adequate, giving great value for money. Breakfast is varied, tasty and plentiful. Spoken English is limited but sufficient.

It's a family-run hotel and since it is very cosy, calm and safe with some kind of zen vibe it really feels like home. Beside its excellent location (a stone's throw from Registon), tasty breakfast, clean rooms and decent wi-fi coverage, the highlight is unmatched hospitality of the owners. They are extremely helpful and kind. As I was visiting during the high season and they didn't have a free room for the first night of my stay, they found me an alternative. Also, Bakhodir is a very knowledgable tour guide who speaks excellent English (much appreciated because I couldn't speak Uzbek and my Russian is really poor). Overall, it was an excellent choice and I would definitely stay here again during my next visit to Samarkand.

Very friendly, personal service. Relaxed atmosphere. Great breakfast. Location is one of the best, very close to the Registan. Rooms are cosy. The owners were very helpfull and welcoming. Nice terrace.
