Lovely stay. Hosts are extremely helpful and kind. They even set up a tour to Nukus and Muynak for me. Great location, excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this place.

Friendly and welcoming family, very helpful. Great breakfast. Nice rooms and a lovely balcony. Excellent location near the main attractions but on a quiet street.

We did not stay at the guest house, we booked a tour to see some of the sandcastles. Abdullah offers such tours. Although Abdullah was able to organise such a tour for the coming day, he did not tell us about some "hidden costs" of the trip. At two out of four sandcastles, an entrance fee was required. Furthermore, while stopping at a museum, it seemed that a guide was included in our tour, which turned out not to be the case. We had to pay the guide extra. Overall, the trip was nice and Abdullah managed to organise it rapidly, but not being told about additional costs (after getting the impression by Abdullah, that we paid him for the whole package) was annoying and not necessary.

I was met with Uzbekistani hospitality. Both Abdullah and Fatima also their daughter were on hand to help and advise. They are humble people.
The residence is located in the quiet area of the citadel with easy access to all the sites. Room was nice with bathroom and AC available.
Breakfast was provided which was filling. As a previous commenter wrote the 'defunct' mosque is now being renovated by UNESCO. A local convenience store is located about a minutes walk if you need to stock up on water and other things.
Will visit again God Willing.

Here, you are staying at a home away from home. The location is in a quiet residence area that is only a minute walk from the bustling tourist area, and the view of the historic though defunct mosque adds to the ambiance. However the gem is the host family who has been incredibly hospitable! For instance, when my pants ripped, the son generously escorted me to the local market that I would not have the language skill to do so myself. I ate almost all my meals here too after I discovered that their food tastes better, was in bigger portions, and is cheaper than restaurants. I highly recommend here and would return here when I come back to Khiva.

Run in their own home by Abdollah and Fatima and located in Ichan Kala inside the heritage walled town of Khiva. Rustic, authentic and yet with standard modern comforts. I had a delightful week long stay. They serve a personalised breakfast in their courtyard. The price is budget friendly. Abdollah is friendly, forthcoming and most helpful. Highly recommended.

If you want to plunge into the atmosphere of old Khiva, then you definitely need to stay in this Guest House. all attractions are within walking distance. After walking through the bustling streets of Khiva, diving through a small gate, you find yourself in a quiet place at the foot of the Islam Khoja minaret. Side by side with the house is the ancient Baghbanli Mosque structure, protected by UNESCO.
The rooms in the hotel are stylized as people lived many years ago, while the house has all the amenities.
It is very convenient to find your way to the hotel based on the Islam Khoja minaret... Welcome!!!
