Guest House Orzu in Khiva

This guesthouse was so wonderful - our favorite stay in Uzbekistan! Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and nice AC, the shower and bathtub had hot water and great pressure, and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was fantastic with a nice omelette and homemade bread and apricot jam from the garden.

Additionally, our host was so warm and professional, a true gentleman - always there to greet, holding doors, helping with bags, checking on our comfort in the room. The morning we left for an early flight, he arranged our taxi, was up with us at 5:30am, had a takeaway box with cold bottled water ready to go, and our registration cards for the airport. He even did a “passport, money, phone?” check as he put us in the car, which was such a sweet and fatherly comment. The hospitality was exceptional and we hope to be back one day!

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. the host is a true gentleman. he is very welcoming and a pleasure to have a conversation with. the guesthouse is very well situated within the fortress. the rooms were very clean and well appointed. Thank you again for making my stay such a great one.

We loved our stay here, in the central part of the walled city. We were able to check in early after catching the Sharq from Bukhara and felt very welcome. We were able to organise a fortress tour with Orzu for a good price and we're very happy. The breakfast was outstanding. We'd stay here again, very comfortable.

We were in Khiva for a day and loved staying in Orzu B&B. The hosts were hospitable and sweet. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were clean and they also arranged taxi for our departure. The B&B is 4 min walk to Kalta Minor minaret. Overall 5 star for the experience and stay.

The owner of Orzu is a kind and welcoming host. Rooms are tidy, beds confier than the ones we've had before. Breakfast is extensive: pastries, fruit, jam bread tea and coffee. The host will also gladly arrange taxi rides for small trips to and from Khiva. Overall a very nice b&b, great experience and excellent value for money. Untill we meet again.

We stayed in Orzu on April 2019. The owners are very friendly. Hotel is clean and good condition. It is inside the old Khiva. So you may be able to see the old khive very comfortably. If we will visit Khive back (I hope I am) I will be happyly stay here again. Breakfeast is also good.

Conveniently located. Comfortable room, great aircon and television. Water pressure is powerful but temperature can be tricky - freezing or boiling - have fun with that! Sufficient breakfast, warm owners.

Very nice and cozy guesthouse. Run by owner and his family - all are very nice and warm people ready to help and advice.

Great place, amazing breakfast not with just coffee and tea, but also eggs, fruits, butter, bread, biscuits. The place is fresh, there is a big garden to share. The owner is really keen to help with everything you need, we had one of our traveller that felt sick for a day, he received complete support from all the member of the house. The cleaner is nice and really good at her job. I suggest this place to everyone. Family and friends.
