However the gem is the host family who has been incredibly hospitable! For instance, when my pants ripped, the son generously escorted me to the local market that I would not have the language skill to do so myself
Side by side with the house is the ancient Baghbanli Mosque structure, protected by UNESCO. The rooms in the hotel are stylized as people lived many years ago, while the house has all the amenities
If you want to plunge into the atmosphere of old Khiva, then you definitely need to stay in this Guest House. all attractions are within walking distance
Here, you are staying at a home away from home. The location is in a quiet residence area that is only a minute walk from the bustling tourist area, and the view of the historic though defunct mosque adds to the ambiance
I ate almost all my meals here too after I discovered that their food tastes better, was in bigger portions, and is cheaper than restaurants. I highly recommend here and would return here when I come back to Khiva
Run in their own home by Abdollah and Fatima and located in Ichan Kala inside the heritage walled town of Khiva. Rustic, authentic and yet with standard modern comforts. I had a delightful week long stay

A wonderful, friendly family hotel with hosts: Bakhtiar and Szakło, who are always there to look after and help. A beautiful garden that cannot be found anywhere else in Khiva. Delicious breakfasts among chirping quails
This guesthouse is a blissful place. The location is ideal, quiet yet very close to the sights. I loved sitting in the garden. The owners are very friendly and will help you with advice and assistance
Drinking water provided fresh daily We asked for some hot water to make a cup of tea, we received a flask & melon, very nice touch
A wonderful brand new place in a very good location in Khiva old town. The beds were the most comfortable we had had in Uzbekistan! A kind and friendly family run this place
The house is just next to the Tash Khauli Palace!

One of the best places in Khiva! High level hospitality! Owner very kind and helpful! House have stable internet, boiler with hot water in every room, comfortable beds and wonderful family atmosphere!!
Cozy place. The owner is kind and cultured. I met him and took him to a cafe. The rooms are clean and good. Wifi is fast. Location is convenient. The breakfast is delicious.

The guesthouse is at the west gate, easily located and accessible by cars. The room is clean and comfortable with a large private bathroom. Very nice shower and internet
Very friendly hosts. In a very quiet part of town, away from all the tourists, but still within the city walls. Their breakfast is, by far, the best one I had in all of Uzbekistan!
This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay while visiting Khiva. The hosts treated us very warmly, and breakfast was an absolute delight
Friendly host, tasty homemade traditional meals, cosy room with comfortable bed, clean and cheap.
The host is welcoming and will give you registration card before check-out
we stayed in September 3-4, People (owner) very friendly and helpful. Clean, every room has air conditioner. You can also order a lunch, we ordered Khorezm Plov for additional $, still cheap if you will eat outside

To be more honest Location of guest house is perfect and has good landmark view from all room and I satisfied with all services and breakfast was brilliant

The breakfast is abundant includin cottage cheese, sour cream and cherries (to mis together, I learned), manti or samsa, egg, salad (tomato and cucumber), cold cuts and cheese, pastries including baklava, preserved figs, bread, tea, fresh fruit (cherries, peaches, plums and apples)
Location: about 750 m from the Old City. Check in was fast, the personnel have limited English proficiency however will try to help you with a cell phone translator. The rooms are big, with bathroom
However, upon request they will bring you hot tea to your room. The dinning room was spectacular: low table and sitting on a cushion, but the decoration is very sophisticated
The landlord's family is warm and considerate. They solved various problems for us. Every time we came back from a tour, they sent us meals, which touched us deeply
I could not finish it so I would save the leftovers to eat later. Remember that Khiva is a little out of the way from the axis Tashkent, Samarkanda and Bukhara
Very nice and clean place. The lady in charge is very hospitable and goes beyond to make your stay comfortable

A good family mini-hotel right in the center of the old town of Ichan Kala. All attractions within walking distance. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is served in the morning
The location is wonderful, but most importantly, it is the owner who made the stay even better. He was so welcoming and accommodating even though he did not speak much English. Overall one of the best stay I had so far.
Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. You can order lunch, which will be served at a convenient time for the client

But the very special touch was the balance struck by our hosts - they were incredibly warm, attentive, helpful, flexible and always on hand to help us - but with the balance of leaving each other our privacy and perfectly judging each moment
A very convenient location for guests. All the sights of the city are a stone's throw from the guest house. 50 meters is the Yasaul-Bashi restaurant. Teressa restaurant is 70 meters away.
The breakfast was also a wonderful spread of all manner of delights, at a time of your choosing. Thank you so much Khiva Karim Sulton guesthouse!!!

There were many great things - location is fantastic - super close to everything you want to do, but set back in a quieter spot without too much noise, facilities homely - quite simple but perfectly adequate and immaculately clean, with beautiful traditional designs
