If I could, I would give 10 starts to this clean, well manged and lovely guest house. Apart from the organized management, the vibe is so peaceful, although it's hosting many backpackers

Deshom Kala Guest House in Khiva exceeded expectations! Conveniently located near the railway station and major attractions like Ichan Qala, it offered spotless rooms, a delightful kitchen facility, and delicious breakfasts

The breakfast was tasty and filling! The guesthouse is located right next to the south gate so it's very easy to walk to all the main sights in the walled city. I'd definitely stay here again!

But the highlight was the hosts - incredibly friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. They treated me like family, making my stay feel personal and comfortable

A great value hostel located right by South gate. Even though it is outside of old city, it is so close that it doesn't matter

However the gem is the host family who has been incredibly hospitable! For instance, when my pants ripped, the son generously escorted me to the local market that I would not have the language skill to do so myself

Lovely stay. Hosts are extremely helpful and kind. They even set up a tour to Nukus and Muynak for me. Great location, excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this place.

Friendly and welcoming family, very helpful. Great breakfast. Nice rooms and a lovely balcony. Excellent location near the main attractions but on a quiet street.

We did not stay at the guest house, we booked a tour to see some of the sandcastles. Although Abdullah was able to organise such a tour for the coming day, he did not tell us about some "hidden costs" of the trip

I was met with Uzbekistani hospitality. Both Abdullah and Fatima also their daughter were on hand to help and advise. The residence is located in the quiet area of the citadel with easy access to all the sites

Room was nice with bathroom and AC available. Breakfast was provided which was filling. As a previous commenter wrote the 'defunct' mosque is now being renovated by UNESCO

This guesthouse was so wonderful - our favorite stay in Uzbekistan! Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and nice AC, the shower and bathtub had hot water and great pressure, and the wifi worked well

Breakfast was fantastic with a nice omelette and homemade bread and apricot jam from the garden

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse. the host is a true gentleman. he is very welcoming and a pleasure to have a conversation with. the guesthouse is very well situated within the fortress

Meet Shakir, a gentleman, fourth generation living in the 120 years old house. Rooms are spacious and full of light. All in order. We were delighted to stay there for the night

Additionally, our host was so warm and professional, a true gentleman - always there to greet, holding doors, helping with bags, checking on our comfort in the room

The morning we left for an early flight, he arranged our taxi, was up with us at 5:30am, had a takeaway box with cold bottled water ready to go, and our registration cards for the airport

Friendly host, tasty homemade traditional meals, cosy room with comfortable bed, clean and cheap.

The location is convenient (5ish minute walk to the main street of sights in Khiva). I ate the best eggs of my life there. They were fried on a bed of onions and peppers and had the most perfectly gooey yolk

I tried to recreate them when I got home and failed. They have three kids who are all polite, and were so wonderful playing with our toddler

The owner messaged us to make sure we got to the train ok and made sure we had no hiccups. Overall, I can say I would stay there again without a doubt, whether I had a kid with me or not

The guesthouse is at the west gate, easily located and accessible by cars. The room is clean and comfortable with a large private bathroom. Very nice shower and internet

The host is welcoming and will give you registration card before check-out

The breakfast is abundant includin cottage cheese, sour cream and cherries (to mis together, I learned), manti or samsa, egg, salad (tomato and cucumber), cold cuts and cheese, pastries including baklava, preserved figs, bread, tea, fresh fruit (cherries, peaches, plums and apples)

Location: about 750 m from the Old City. Check in was fast, the personnel have limited English proficiency however will try to help you with a cell phone translator. The rooms are big, with bathroom

However, upon request they will bring you hot tea to your room. The dinning room was spectacular: low table and sitting on a cushion, but the decoration is very sophisticated

The landlord's family is warm and considerate. They solved various problems for us. Every time we came back from a tour, they sent us meals, which touched us deeply

I could not finish it so I would save the leftovers to eat later. Remember that Khiva is a little out of the way from the axis Tashkent, Samarkanda and Bukhara

Very nice and clean place. The lady in charge is very hospitable and goes beyond to make your stay comfortable

This guesthouse is in the heart of Itchan kala, located close to all attractions and also right next to the teressa rooftop cafe, lovely hosts and lovely granny who is always helpful

We have stayed there with my husband in October 2022 and we both consider it a great place to stay! Accommodation is placed at the old town and is cosy, well-maintained and has a pleasant climate

Lady’s there were so friendly and nice. They offered lunch a dinner. The quality of the food is on point and super tasty. If I would come back to Khiva, this is gonna be my place again.

It felt like I was visiting my granny in Uzbekistan. We kept yapping about Sharukh Khan and Salman khan. Clean rooms and great breakfast spread

Really the nicest guesthouse we stayed at in all of Uzbekistan (maybe even all of Central Asia!!)

Drinking water provided fresh daily We asked for some hot water to make a cup of tea, we received a flask & melon, very nice touch

Such an amazing awesome and lovely romantic stay in the heart of Ichan Kala in Khiva. The owners are lovely humble and kind people. The place is absolutely gorgeous and steps away from all the tourist spots in Ichan Kala

Great little guesthouse at the center of the old town. Nice little garden that provides shade for the morning coffee and tea. It was clean, the owners were super hospitable and the breakfast was very tasty

A good family mini-hotel right in the center of the old town of Ichan Kala. All attractions within walking distance. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is served in the morning

The location is wonderful, but most importantly, it is the owner who made the stay even better. He was so welcoming and accommodating even though he did not speak much English. Overall one of the best stay I had so far.

Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. You can order lunch, which will be served at a convenient time for the client

Family run hotel with cleanliness and good breakfast. The hospitality of the owners is especially great.

Hotel in the best location in Chiwa. Rooms modest but very clean and well equipped. The air conditioning worked flawlessly. The hotel overlooks the main square of the city and the famous blue minaret

The family running the hotel cares about the comfort but also the guest's privacy. There is an excellent restaurant nearby. The hotel booked a taxi for us to pick us up from Urgench airport

Great location in the heart of the old town with 3 terraces. Ruslan, the owner and his sons will do everything to make your stay comfortable, very clean rooms with good beds.

It was our second time at Abdulla guest house. Kamel and his family are a true example of Uzbek hospitality, they really put their own heart to provide the best service for visitors

We stopped by to get some snacks. Probably THE BEST SAMSA (seriously), THE BEST PASTRY, and THE BEST POMEGRANATE JUICE from THE WARMEST AND BEST HOSTS

Amazing guest house. Clean and in the city center. It is possible to have dinner or lunch for reasonable prices and big portions.

I recommend everyone to stay at Abdulla guest house once they are in Khiva and hope to return again in the near future

Good value for money. Breakfast is very tasty. If you stay here, I recommend that you order a quite good home cooked dinner from the guest house because all of the restaurants in the old town are overpriced rubbish.

The accomodation is located inside the magnificient Itchan Qalaa, close to all historical monuments. The apartman is very clean, cozy ideal for both solo travelers and families
