Dendi Resort Phu Quoc in Phu Quoc Island

Our tour agency booked this hotel stating it’s a four star hotel though we recommend other hotels as last visit to Phu Quoc we stayed in SOL and someone who had got that experience this hotel looks filthy and it got low standards
When we got the room, the curtains and sitting area has lot of stains and when I asked receptionist to change, she mentioned this is common and she don’t consider this has a dirty.I understood this hotel standards as she kept saying these kind is issues are not considered as clean issues . No options for vegetarian and if you ask you will get to choose only pasta. Located in a dirty place. Our toilet rolls and hand wash was over, I guess it was not added since long as the change was not done even after putting makeup my room plate . Shower height is way too low to take a bath . I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Uploading the pics of dirty floor and you can experience the similar ones in curtains

The Reality of the Stay:
My experience at Aquasun was deeply disappointing. Despite the beautiful views, the hotel fails at basic hospitality and maintenance.
The Cons: A Service & Hygiene Nightmare
Room Issues: Upon arrival, we were told our booked room wasn't available because the hotel was full. When we finally got a room, the blankets were dirty and the sofa was stained. We had to request housekeeping immediately upon checking in.
Bathroom Woes: There was no hot water, and the drain was clogged. Maintenance spent an hour trying to fix it with zero results. To top it off, the towels provided were old, worn, and literally torn.
Abysmal Service: There is no "hospitality" here. The staff and receptionists are incredibly rude; they say "No" to almost every request without even listening. There was no warm welcome and no assistance with luggage during check-in or check-out.
Breakfast Disaster: Very limited variety and slow refills. Most shockingly, once breakfast time ends, staff force guests to sit outside in the sun next to a leaking drainage pipe with a foul smell.
The Pros: The Only Saving Grace
The terrace area is lovely, featuring a mini-bar and a swimming pool.
The sit-out area offers a great sunset and beach view.
Verdict: A hotel cannot survive on a nice view alone. The lack of basic hygiene, functioning plumbing, and professional staff makes this a place I cannot recommend. Save your money and stay somewhere where guests are actually treated with respect.

When we arrived at the hotel exhausted from the airport and flight,we were not warmly welcomed at all.The area the hotel was situated in was dirty and unkept.The receptionist at that time was very rude when we checked in and didn’t offer the rooms we originally paid for as the hotel was full.

The couch in the rooms were dirty and the rooms were very small
We were a family of eight and none of the rooms provided were spacious

One of the rooms had a torn duvet cover and the furniture was dusty with hair on it.
They refused to accommodate us to better rooms
I must also comment that the pictures provided on Google is absolutely nothing like what we saw in reality.

The breakfast was terrible and there was absolutely no variety

We also found two cockroaches in our hotel room and blood on the pillows when ‘housekeeping’ was done.

The beaches around were mostly private and we had to walk to a smelly side of the beach to use
It was a disaster.We will never use this hotel ever again.
This was clearly not a 4 star hotel and you should thoroughly do your research before staying here.
