The May Phu Quoc Hotel in Phu Quoc Island

Pros and cons.
Nice room, good shower, and water pressure is good.
Lovely bed and pillows. Clean towels and bedding.
Housekeep could do a better job with cleaning the room, wiping the floor, and dusting things off.
Cleaning the bathroom space in better ways.
Our room had a bit of a bad smell in it. Not mold, but something else...

Breakfast was very good with choices. Coffee was not good, but the staff fixed better coffee without flavored coffee. Everything tastes too sweet/ much sugar. The kitchen could get better juice and ice tea without sugar.
If guests want sweet and sugar tasty, then put sugar bowls on the table so that guests can put their own sugar in their juice or ice tea cups.
I couldn't drink any of the hotels juice or tea because of the sugar they put in it.

Don't believe all the pictures you see of the hotel area. A lot of rubbish laying around on your walk down to the beach. The stairs from the hotel/pool area, down to the beach.. hmmm...

Next. The pool area. The pool is not clean. The pool area is not nice at all. Dirty and not inviting at all.
The beach area, full of rubbish, plastic bottles, dirt, old stuff laying around.
The restaurant at the beach is charging you little bit for drinks or food to use the sunbeds and umbrellas. This is nice beacause other places charge around 140.000 dong for umbrella and sunbeds, no drink or food included.

Overall, it was an okey place to stay for 7 nights with an enjoyable breakfast.
Beautiful and lovely flowers at the hotel front desk/lobby. Helpful and nice staff working at front desk.
This hotel could be so much better if they could care about the pool area, take care of the environment around their hotel area, and the beach area with their services for their guests. Thank you. The staff working here is nice and helpful.
