Golden Ring in Tirana

Golden ring is a nice place, the suite we got was amazing, big and cozy with all amenities. This place got nice pool but was raining so didn’t swim. Breakfast was served in a large room that looked like a banquet hall. Some traditional breakfast was served. You need to park car n either climb the steps next to it or walk up slope to get to reception. Card accepted. Small lifts. It seems to be a wedding location.
The property location is 20 min away from the center though. There are shops ten min walking distance.

We had a great hotel stay here, remember you not staying in a five star resort when you stay here, the staff a very friendly and helpful , the rooms were lovely and clean the breakfast was very basic but for the price you could not complain. What you need to understand about this hotel is that it's mainly catered for weddings at weekends so join the week you more or less have the place to yourself so book this hotel and enjoy location

After a villa we had booked was cancelled last minute we had to search for somewhere to stay. We couldn’t find any affordable villas that offered what we wanted so decided to stay at Golden Ring. Upon arrival we paid for our stay, was welcomed with a smile and shown to our rooms. All rooms are on the 3rd floor with the 1st and 2nd floors offering no rooms, but beautiful function rooms. During our stay there were two wedding receptions, which the function rooms were stunningly set up. Music played to the early hours, but caused no disruption. The pool is perfect for a small amount of guests that can stay. Breakfast is offered complimentary: offering breads, croissants, and a selection of meats, cheese and fruit. Coffee is also available along with water or juice. “Club” sandwich with fries is available for a very reasonable price upon request, as well as a small range of alcoholic drinks, cappuccinos and water. Rooms are small, but have a small fridge, and air conditioning. The cleaner works extremely hard and is very friendly. The staff were very accommodating and speak good enough English to understand your needs. Given the price we paid I can not fault our stay and look forward to our remaining time here. Would certainly recommend for a mid week stay and would happily return.

This is really more of a hotel than a resort though it is clearly set up for weddings and conferences. It has a lovely well maintained outdoor pool and a pleasant terrace where we took breakfast. The staff had adequate English. (Certainly better than my Albanian!) and we’re extremely helpful. They where kind enough to allow us to leave our motorhome in their car park for two weeks between our two stays and twice washed and ironed our laundry. Breakfast was nice but no other meals were available. There was just a slightly sleepy feel to the hotel but I suppose that we were there very early in the season. I would certainly be happy to stay there again.
