Carat Hotel in Yerevan

I would say this is the MOST AMAZING hotel in the city.
First : the staff is AMAZING and very professional, nice an cozy environment, they are very client oriented and client comfort is number one priority for them . I was working with the general manager, Lilit, and can say that she is the best! Nice, educated, professional, she will make your stay in the hotel very comfortable.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable.
The location of the hotel is something any visitor will dream for - center of the city, walking distance to the subway, grocery stores, tourist areas.

Ok ok ok

I stayed at this hotel and overall the experience was good. The room was clean and the location was convenient. However, there were a couple of issues: climbing the cascading stairs in the evening was quite strenuous, and the breakfast was repetitive, despite the promise of a buffet.

This isn't my first trip to Yerevan, so I knew I'd be staying at the hotel longer than before, having seen so much. I was surprised they had a spa! And I accidentally forgot to put my swimsuit on, so I relaxed there too.
I didn't even take a photo of the room – everything was just like in their photos!!

The room is clean, everything is nice, and still new. If they maintain it in this condition, it will last a long time.
The view from the room is beautiful!
The bed is soft and comfortable, although not king-size. I always stay at Ibis specifically for their beds. I wasn't expecting that, but the Carat didn't disappoint!!
It's not a long walk to the cascade!
The staff is friendly!
The window opens!!! The air comes in! There are hotels where you can't open the window… like the air conditioning.
I'm happy as a clam! I'll come back again and again, and from now on, I'll definitely stay with you!

Comment, purely for management:
1) Don't hang that ugly plastic sheeting in the bathroom... it ruins both the look and feel.
2) Breakfast really needs to be a buffet... let it be light, but English isn't for you. Ordering decent coffee in your room wouldn't be a bad idea either.
3) You need to somehow control your alarm clock; it was ringing in the middle of the night, and I turned it off by taking out the battery. It's not a big deal for me, but it might annoy some people.

I don't recommend an economy room.
It's on the -2nd floor.

Great location, easy access to attractions, and a great cardio workout after delicious lunches and dinners up the cascade. Very pleasant and polite staff!

My stay: Twenty winter nights in Room 17, 2nd floor ~ Very large room with high ceiling, four electrical outlets, wall-length window looking out over nearby snow-covered buildings ~ Bed, ‘fridge. table, chairs, usual ‘closet’ for clothes ~ Didn’t use the small TV ~ HOT shower in a largish bathroom ~ WI/FI was strong, important to me ~ Standard aircon-heater and radiator ~ I’m writing this review primarily to compliment front-desk staffer Tatiana who quickly facilitated my check-in so I could get to my room’s bathroom, and director Lilit who made sure I had everything I needed ~ Thank you ~ That said, all staff were friendly and helpful, speaking some English ~ Lastly, the hotel’s location is city-central, with a large supermarket and several restaurants nearby ~ I recommend the nearby Lebanese café ‘Khmorjik Bakery’, and I recommend the Yerevan Centre Hotel ~
