It's very retro, and although it's an older hotel, it's well-maintained, with decent cleanliness. However, you can tell from the shower fixtures that it's a bit dated, but the bed is very comfortable and spacious. The entire decor and furniture have a distinctly local feel. We ended up here because the nearby aquapark was closed. Entry fee was 3000 AMD, but we had to buy slippers (from 3000 AMD) and swimming caps (from 1500 AMD) as they were mandatory. The gym and swimming pool are nice, however the issue with them is that they can be noisy. Some trainers have decided that they can disregard other visitors and direct their classes with noisy 'music'. I really wish the 'music' volume could be reduced. Other than this the place is fine.

I accidentally booked a "honeymoon suite"—a white-curtained round bed with a whirlpool tub—definitely the kind of room a Caucasian tycoon would use for a secret rendezvous with his mistress. My review is only about the pool. It is big and the view is very nice in this place. The staff is polite, there are towels included in price. But!! This is really a wedding venue hotel, with a really great pool area for Armenia (one of the best). The pool doesnt have a shallow end so isn't great for kids, and a lot of folks during the day just seemed like Instagram influencers more focused on getting good pics than taking a break.
