Where to stay in Sydney

At first it being part of a church felt a little odd, but that feeling was quickly forgotten. The room was a great size and was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was perfect. The location was a little out of the way, but that kept things quiet. We were still able to walk down to the harbor and access everything we wanted to.

The hotel is in a quiet part of North Sydney and the room (and corridor) was spacious. The air con was effective and the bed was comfortable. There were stains on the chairs in the room, however, which were a bit off putting and we had no shampoo - I got some from a cleaner. It was a calm place to stay, yet close to restaurants and busier places. What really let it down was the staff at reception...

A wonderfully serene stay in the heart of North Sydney. Only a short stroll to the trains, beaches, shopping etc. My room was very clean with modern amenities. I also appreciate the friendly staff and complimentary brekky. Loved visiting the beautiful chapel for prayers and mass as well. All in all, top notch!

Checked in and 1st room aircon did not work. Eventually changed to different room. Much bigger than original room which had a very tiny bathroom. Both rooms had been newly renovated but walking down hallway felt and sounded like the floor was going to collapse. Staff were friendly but not professional. Very overpriced for what it is but prices seemed inflated for AC/DC concert dates.

Beds and linen were great and comfy. Bathroom was absolutely filthy and there was absolutely no water pressure in the shower so was pointless having one. Sometimes used soap cake was sitting ontop of the shampoo bottle holder, toothpaste on the shower wall as well as hair and the floor was putrid. If the bathroom was clean, our stay would have been near perfect.

Arrived late,night manager Nonae was so helpful. Great smile and attitude. She is a great front of house.

Great space for family, we were 3 adults and 3 young kids. Comfortable beds. There're a few faults/broken things in the room but the staffs were very friendly and helpful. Ample car parking space behind the premise.

We had to go in the bar to check in. The staff was accomodating. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable. The building is old but clean and would stay there again if it permits.

Great stay for a night. Had everything I needed and was clean. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the noise coming from behind the hotel in the park. But that soon died down around 11-11:30pm and I had a restful sleep.

I chose this hotel for a short Sydney trip during a transit layover, thinking it would save time if I could see the Opera House from my room. The view was absolutely amazing! An older hotel, the room was clean, except the carpet needed replacing. Our balcony didnt have a very nice view, as we were only on the 2nd floor. The location was brilliant, they had a little sitting area just to the side of the pool which was very handy for us while we waited for late flight.

The room was clean and tidy, with a modern bathroom kept to a well cleaned standard. Had an amazing view over the golf course which was a nice surprise and they have a nice little Korean restaurant attached to the building to grab lunch or dinner if you don’t want to travel to far, highly recommended.

The hotel is close to my business trip destination, has a pleasant environment, complete facilities, and convenient transportation.

The lamb chops at Percys bar at North sydney hotel were just perfect. Easily on par with any other location. Well trimmed, well cooked, with a rich sauce on delicious mash. This was my first time staying in North Sydney, and it's definitely not as convenient as staying on the south side. Almost no shops were open at night. We booked it for New Year's Eve fireworks, and walking back to the hotel from the viewing spot only took 30 minutes. This was the perfect place to stay. Great location and the appartment was fantastic. It had a kitchen and 2 bedrooms. It was nice a big. We loved being able to walk into the city or catch a ferry. I highly recommend this pace. We didn't have any issues with noise either. Its not far from the casino and there are lots or restaurants around including hurricanes.

Mattresses extremely hard and uncomfortable. Felt like cheap mattresses. Laundry facilities fine, but you have to pay for a wash and for a dryer. Front desk is only staffed from 8-7. Given 1 towel/person and you have to pay for more. Freezer of refrigerator awful because it accumulates ice (not frost free) so you can't fit anything in. Cheap/small ice tray to make ice. I’d still like to give this hotel 5 stars, though you might go in with high expectations. The owner is really nice and sweet. I think the only issues are that there’s no elevator and sometimes we have to wait to use the shower.

This quiet hotel is perfectly located just 200m from King's Cross train station and walking distance to Circular Quay. For the price it is a good place to stay especially if you’re solo travelling and close to the station. There was a few insects in my room however it’s Australia so I understand these things happen and they did come to spray my room after then had no issues. Great gem in Bondi. Was a seamless time here. Rooms are modern, spacious, clean with great amenities that makes your stay more comfortable.
