It was overall a pleasant stay. My only complaints are that they didn’t provide room slippers and that the extra bed was very uncomfortable. The beds that came with the room were amazing though.

It's an old but very well refurbished hotel. The room is clean, microwaves and other basic utensils are also clean. The staff are friendly as well.

The location is also convenient only 15 minutes from Artarmon And the hotel room is larger and overall clean, most importantly, high value for money 👍🏻 There is a dry and laundry service on the 2nd floor where you can wash all your clothes and take them home.

The front desk service was very good and the location was easy to find. It might be because the price of 160AU/night in the off-season was better than many apartments, so we moved here after staying in the apartment for 4 nights. It should be noted that the check-out time is early, which is 9:00-10:00 local time, and the check-in time needs to be after 14:00

Nice stay in a clean room. It is close to the train and bus which makes transport to the city easy. Only downside was the wifi. Of the 4 nights we only had wifi 1 night.

We stayed here for one night and would not want to stay for longer due to the noise from surrounding bars/entertainment which went on until 3am. The room was large with a huge en-suite but needs to be renovated due to deteriorating/broken floor tiles. Could not fault the friendly helpful staff.

A hidden Gem in the heart of the city.. Amazing service from all the super friendly team… Rooms were a very good size and extremely clean… Adjoins a number of amazing bars and restaurants - including the famous Mr Wong’s. Definitely recommend a stay for anyone looking to experience Sydney.

Staff were great. room size was good. Noise was very bad with little to no noise insulation between the room and very large very loud bar which kept going to 3am on Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday had a wedding with live band running to midnight and Monday had nearby building works. If the owners could improve noise issues the Hotel would be great. As is we are unlikely to stay there again

The room was really small, but it had a view of the Sydney Opera House. The service was quite responsive; when the door lock broke, they came to fix it right away. Since they couldn't repair it, they moved me to another room and even comped my breakfast.

Cleanliness of the room was great. Staff were very friendly and the location of the premises to where we were going for a wedding was good. Unfortunately the hotel is undergoing renovations at present and the walk from the hotel parking to the reception was not the best but I'm sure once these renovations are complete, the access door will be re-opened. An older hotel, the room was clean, except the carpet needed replacing. Our balcony didnt have a very nice view, as we were only on the 2nd floor. The location was brilliant, they had a little sitting area just to the side of the pool which was very handy for us while we waited for late flight.

The room was clean and tidy, with a modern bathroom kept to a well cleaned standard. Had an amazing view over the golf course which was a nice surprise and they have a nice little Korean restaurant attached to the building to grab lunch or dinner if you don’t want to travel to far, highly recommended.

The reception is unmanned, walking in to an empty lobby feels unfriendly. The rooms acoustics were very bad, with noisy aircon sound and water / flushing sounds from other units. There was no cabinet at all to store clothes, mattress was so soft, sleeping in it for 7 days caused bad backache! Not a very comfortable hotel to stay in.

The hotel is very close to George St so that it is very convenient to get to the centre of the city. It is close to the Central Station as well but actually you need to pass through a 600 meters tunnel to the gate. It could be a bit difficult if you are having heavy luggage. The amenities are old but with such a price, it is worth to stay here if you are not expecting too much.

This was our first stay at the Bayswater Lodge! and we loved it! Great location with shops, buses and trains at the door. I had a really great stay at this hotel. The room was really good — clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
