Hotel zum Gourmet in Seefeld

Went to this hotel for 6 night ski break with husband and friends, first day of which was to celebrate my birthday. The room was huge with an added extra of a bath! Perfect apart from no coffee / tea facilities or even water which was unusual but we could get drinks from the bar for the room. All staff really friendly and lovely, we did get a bit lost in translation a couple of times but that is our fault for not speaking German. Food and drinks great, Ski bus only a few minutes walk away and pretty regular. Seefeld is a beautiful town so the hotel and town well worth the visit. We booked all inclusive with Sunweb so the trip was very reasonable. Overall 100%! thank you Hotel Zum Gourmet and Jorge the bar man, you were amazing

We felt very comfortable at the hotel. The service was excellent; the staff was very friendly and constantly asked if everything was alright. Any requests were addressed promptly. The all-inclusive concept is excellent value for money. The evening menu is always delicious, beautifully presented, and offers something for every taste. The lunchtime snack also includes fresh salads, soup, and a small dish. The afternoon cake was mostly freshly baked and very tasty. Only the breakfast buffet offered fresh produce, but the selection and variety were manageable. The selection of breads and rolls was very good. The hotel location is ideal—a little quieter than the city center, but everything is within walking distance. Overall, we would return anytime. Thanks to the entire friendly staff!

We had a wonderful weekend here. The staff, without exception, were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the house was pleasant and well-maintained, with a relaxed atmosphere and no hysterical, psychotic atmosphere. They were also very dog-friendly. Excellent—I'd love to return and recommend this place to others.

I've never seen such wonderful, pleasant staff. They smile at everyone wholeheartedly all day long, always greet you warmly, and constantly make sure everything is clean. We truly had a wonderful time with the Akon group, and everyone loved it. The sauna was excellent, the room was large, with a large, nice bathroom. They have great new bikes. The food is so delicious and beautifully presented, simply excellent. The restaurant is very good. We will definitely return to the same hotel next year, and I'm already looking forward to this experience. I wish this hotel all the best.

As a group of 8 we stayed at the Zum Gourmet for 3 nights. The location, was ideal, the staff were all friendly, professional and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel is well presented, rooms are well kept and are really decent size. The breakfast and evening meals catered for all needs and the standard of food and presentation couldn't be faulted. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel to others. An amazing stay was had.

I attended a conference in Seefeld in January 2017 and had the pleasure of being guest of Christina and Mario. Their hospitality exceeded my expectations. Always friendly response and positive to ask all my peculiar questions. We were fortunate enough to have both time and nice weather for skiing (alpine) and were guided on where to hire equipment, which skilifts were proper for our level of experience and how to get to and from. The rooms are nice, location is a nice 5 minutes walk from Dorfplatz (city center) with many nice restaurants and shops. The breakfast buffet gives the day a good start with its large variety of bread, spread, cereals, fruits, +++++ in addition to cooked to order breakfast. The departure was 5am, but Christina arranged a mini breakfast for us without hesitation or charge. I'll be back.

Hotel Zum Gourmet is a superb 4 star hotel. Our room with a balcony was spacious and the view of the mountains was lovely. As two male friends sharing, the comfy sofa bed in the room worked well (although we did need assistance to open it properly). The food at this hotel is the best I’ve had for an hotel of this category and the all inclusive includes a good range of wines, beers and spirits and included some cocktails such as aperol (gourmet) spritz. The hotel is positioned on the outskirts of town so it is a bit of a walk with kit to the ski buses. We discovered the heated lockers at the main slope which was a game changer as we left skis, boots, helmets and gloves there and they were lovely and dry each morning and it was great not having to carry them. A family locker will take kit for 4 people. We went back each day for the lunch which included salad and a hot option such as mac and cheese, pizza or chicken and chips. At around 4pm you can also have delicious cakes. The common areas are beautifully decorated and have really comfy armchairs. We used the relaxation area each afternoon where there is a steam room and a couple of saunas with plenty of loungers. Reception will provide robes and slippers and towels are just outside the room. The staff were amazing, every single one of them and made our stay even more special. I rate it so highly I have already booked my stay there next year.

All inclusive hotel with lift pass included. Great breakfast and 4 course dinner. very comfortable room, quiet with black out blinds. Very good wifi A 15 minute walk to the ski bus stop which connects the two main ski areas which are quite small plenty of blue and red runs, a couple of black slopes. Not much in the way of apres in the town. But lots of bars. A very relaxing ski holiday the weather helped with wall to wall blue skies. Would recommend for beginner/intermediate skiers.

The first impression of this hotel is the friendliness of the staff. Everyone is smiling and very willing to help. The room we had chosen was cosy clean and well laid out, although slightly dated. It would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The bathroom was nice and modern. There was English television to watch in the evenings when we didn't feel like going out which was a nice thing to have. The food is amazing! We stayed over the Christmas period and there was a lot of festive cheer on Christmas Eve. There was singing and the Christmas story around the Christmas tree before we went in to dinner which was lovely. Christina the owner of the hotel gave each lady a small Christmas gift which was a really nice touch. We were treated to a 7 course meal on Christmas Eve and every course was absolutely delicious. On other evenings we were given a five course meal if we chose to have everything on offer. The Chef( Christina's husband Mario) had also prepared a three course meal for people watching their weight. Christina really knows the wines to have with each meal. She has a wealth of knowledge of the wines of the region and country. There really is no shortage of good quality and beautifully prepared food and wine to delight the guests. This is also true of the breakfasts. There really is an amazing range of food to choose from at breakfast. No need to go hungry! My husband used the sauna regularly. He really enjoyed the surroundings and peace and quiet. Christina and Mario, have worked very hard to make sure the guests have everything they need at their hotel. We would very much like to visit again in the future.
