We stayed at the Hotel Adler from December 24th to January 2nd, 2026. The hotel is very old, but that's precisely what gives it its charm. The breakfast buffet is small, but very good. Amazing location right next to the (quiet) cable car. We had an appartment with 2 rooms and a living room and were very happy. I stayed here for two weeks while in the area on business. The location and view are 5-star, the family owners are welcoming and friendly. This is a basic motel and has parking. No services but does the job for basics if you plan to spend the day walking around and out anyway.

Great location, clean and well organized lounge area. We enjoyed our stay at this location and I thought it was clever to have bikes that we could use to explore Salzburg and surrounding areas.

I keep coming back because this place is the best for someone who loves skiing and good food. Dinners here are a four-course wonder. The hotel is basically a step from the cable car (and the ski rental/shop). There is a small swimming pool and two saunas. And the staff is always welcoming, polite and helpful.

Great hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious and the evening bar was well stocked. Pool and spa are great for a chill after the slopes. Boot room is very well equipped and has great access directly outside where the gondola is only 1 minute walk. Rooms are great with comfy beds.

Nice looking hotel great pool and close to a skilift

We were not able to reach in time for dinner, but we had already paid for it. However, the hotel staff gave us a cheese platter with some bread and salad. It was a very welcoming gesture. 1 star less because the toilets are not built for someone like me (187 cm). Everything is very low, and the shower area was too small.

This hotel is fantastic for a stay in Bad Hofgastein. The rooms are spacious & clean, though they are a bit antiquated. Nothing wrong with that as long as they're clean & functional! Summer card includes a lot of free activities. Too bad we went to high reservoirs before checking in. Close to multiple attractions. Room is a little bigger than expected (two single plus two top bunkers). It’s simple but clean. Breakfast covered all you need.

Large and cozy apartments with everything you need in the kitchen. Rituals toiletries. Beautiful views from the window, surrounded by mountains. Convenient location. The ski resort is nearby, and one of the best in Austria, with beautiful scenery. The only downside is the slightly uncomfortable spring beds. But that's the only downside, so I'll still give it 5*.

The town of Kaprun is beautiful, especially with its wintery atmosphere, continuous rain showers, clouds, and fog that blanket the green mountain slopes – truly magnificent! (Of course, we consider it wintery even though it's late May, while for them it's late spring.) This town, along with Zell am See, Salzburg, and the surrounding area, are among the best summer destinations for us Arab tourists...

Hotel An der Wien has absolutely great location, 5 mins walking to the station, then it's just a 15 min Ubahn ride to the centre. The hotel has a few parking spaces, about 12. The room is sufficient. Great hotel at a great price. It’s located about halfway between the city centre and the train station. Easy 15-min walk to each. The rooms are quiet, clean, but nothing fancy. I loved the place. It has a very relaxed atmosphere that takes you out of the hustle and bustle of your stressful life. Environmentalism, fair trade and people are in the centre of their attention. Lovely hotel with an excellent location. The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was solid and enjoyable. A big plus is that dogs are welcome. The only downside—which wasn’t entirely the hotel’s fault—was that some young girls in the neighboring room were having a party late at night with extremely loud music. That said, this says more about guest behavior than the hotel itself.

Had an amazing experience the check in was warm and friendly, the room was spotless the bedding was comfortable, had a coffee maker in the room and a hairdryer too, the breakfast buffet had a lot of choices, there was so much personalization by the breakfast hostess Anna was walking around every table and offering warm croissants.

Price/quality a very decent match. The staff so friendly and caring. Half-pension with every night again an outstanding menu. Great place to enjoy the wintersport holidays. We went here with a big group and enjoyed the great service of the friendly staff. The breakfast and dinner was much better than expected. I shared a room with another big guy, which made the room a bit too small for us, especially the single bed was too small for either of us, but beside that, it was a great place to stay.

The hotel is much nicer inside, than it looks from the outside. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, if a little on the small side. A bit far from the city centre, but there is direct bus No. 1 right in front of the hotel, which makes getting around very convenient. They allow us to keep our luggage at the hotel before and after our stay.

This hotel is a fantastic value for money! It's a 10-minute tram ride from Central Station, so it might seem a bit far from the city center, but if you're not in a hurry, it's well worth it! It's quiet, comfortable, and clean! The front desk service was exceptional! A handsome man and a beautiful woman patiently helped me book a day trip for the next day. It was so heartwarming!
