Where to stay with car in Vienna

I've stayed there at the end of October 2025,for 3 nights. Great location vs money paid - a decent neighborhood, right next to the subway station and a Billa shop. Parking available at a decent price

The rooms are really well-equipped. Despite the convenient location, it's quite quiet. The tram stops right outside, and the subway is next door. A hairdryer and soap dispenser are provided

A fruit salad would be great, not just whole fruit. Gluten-free bread was available upon request, but unfortunately, I didn't try it; it was just warmed up, a bit damp, and the napkin was stuck to the bottom slice

Breakfast was of very good quality, offering a solid and varied selection. The service was professional, courteous, and efficient throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and well handled

We stayed at Simm’s Hotel in Vienna last weekend for business and were very satisfied with the overall experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and efficiently organized

The location is very convenient, with a metro station directly next to the hotel, allowing quick and easy access to the city center and business areas

A great buffet breakfast is served, offering both cooked and child items. The proximity to the U-bahn makes getting anywhere in Vienna straightforward. However, this area itself is great for shopping

An excellent smaller hotel with a lot of character. The period decor and ornate staircase really add to the atmosphere. Rooms are modern and clean, bathrooms have their own toiletries

An old style hotel. Excellent location and access to public transportation. Large room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Excellent free WiFi. Good value for money.

Great hotel. Nice rooms on great location. Everything on walking distance. And they treat pets as we did not saw anywhere.

We stayed with a group of friends during the first Advent weekend of 2025. We booked the last two premium rooms and got lucky to get one of the rooms promoted to a suite

The other room was OK, though very simple for the price we paid, with no view, only two small skylight windows (IMHO the room should not be offered as a premium room)

Angelina and Beatrice……their smiling faces and willingness to endure our endless stories of adventure in Vienna!! They say it’s the journey, not the destination, well, these folks were top notch, making the destination better along the way! The Rathaus Christmas market is right down the street! Thank you to the team who helped brighten our Christmas!!

The front of house staffers were the BEST!! They were friendly, helpful and outgoing! Here are the shout outs: Milos, amazing, patient, solved my phone problem for me! Michelle, she is a great example of people you want to meet on holiday!! Andrea, climbing the Raddison ladder, she will be superior at the front desk

Odd at first but once you realize how many places there are to eat it becomes less of an issue. It is clean has nice rooms and the service for everything else is excellent. The people are friendly and helpful too

Near City Hall and the Volksgarten park the hotel is walking distance to most major areas and if you aren't a walker you can hop on any public transportation with a pass you can purchase at the hotel

The standard of the truly quiet room and bathroom can easily be compared or let say tops some of the high class big brand hotels. I liked much that there was a supermarkt next door

Clean room and very nice staff. The madam at the reception desk is very friendly. I have a sudden change in my travel plan, and they have kindly agreed to give me some flexibility

Excellent small independently owned hotel. Easy to get to the Vienna Internatinal Centre and the town centre was a short underground journey. Spotlessly clean as you would expect in Austria and a great little breakfast

Great for the conference centre. Nice garden out the back with a view of the river. Clean, no fuss and the staff were exceptional

Everything was nice, room was clean, staff was nice, they stored our luggage. The place is nice, but you can tell it’s older, still pretty!

The locarion is perfectm, the room size are small, they need more staff

The toilet was enclosed but the glass shower stall was right in the middle of the room. This was ok for us because we are married but you may want to look at the room styles or be comfortable with a friend before booking

We had a great stay at this hotel and a good night's rest each evening. The hotel is located near the Town Hall which was a quiet area near the end of October but there was quite a bit of construction in the area

We had tram and metro access just a little bit down the road at the Rathaus station but believe the construction made it somewhat tricky to navigate to get to the right platform. The hotel room was interesting

It’s very close to the convention center—just two stops by train or about a 15-minute walk. The hotel is clean and comfortable, the staff were very kind, and the breakfast was great.

Great value hotel in good location. I stayed here while attending a conference in Vienna. The room was spacious and clean. There was a great selection at the buffet breakfast

The hotel is close to the station, the rooms have good soundproofing, breakfast is included, and free WiFi is available.

It would be absolutely perfect for visitors who are just stopping by for some sightseeing in the city.

The location is perfect; you can easily reach the city center on foot or via the excellent public transport network, with shops, restaurants, and everything else you might need nearby

but the best thing was the mattress - I slept like a baby!! I'll be back :)

The receptionists, Alex and Loles, truly saved my first ball. I faced some difficulties, as many tourists do in Vienna, and they showed exceptional involvement and a truly individual approach to every guest

The hotel was in a central location, which was excellent. You could easily reach all the must-see sights. If you're staying with a car, make sure to sort out the parking

There are also restaurants nearby. The only downside is that the hotel's shampoo isn't very good; my hair felt strange and didn't seem clean after washing. I recommend bringing your own, along with your own slippers

The room is not very big but for the budget, it is acceptable to me. What impresses me the most is the service of the receptionist as they seems to be trained to be very polite and helpful to every clarification.

Omg the best hotel I've ever been. Great desk service and amazing room service! Everyone is so polite and the breakfast food is to die for! I would not choose or even try any other hotel in Vienna

Our stay in Erzherzog Rainer hotel was outstanding. The rooms are spacious, clean and very quiet. We totally recommend this hotel if you wanna travel to Vienna

Although it is in an alley, I feel that Shanghai is very tasteful, and the room feels quite exquisite. The food is very good, especially the breakfast, and the service attitude is also very good

We had a wonderful stay. Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and a very nice room. They had placed a nice pastry in our room with a sweet card for our 24th wedding anniversary. Very attentive.

The hotel is relatively close to the Golden Hall and within walking distance. Fruit and water are provided upon check-in. Fortunately, there was no queue when we arrived

The location is very good and close to the metro station with less than 5-min walk. It also locates in the main street where a lot of shops and restaurants are located. The buffet breakfast is nice as well.

The room facilities are outdated, the breakfast is too small, it is a sports club with many people coming, and parking is on the roadside.

This hotel has a bit of character and charm. While the carpet looked dated, the room overall was clean with a very comfortable bed and a good bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay

The room included a fridge, which was convenient, but the TV didn’t work during our stay. One thing to note is the garage. We were lucky no one parked beside us when it was time to load the car and leave

I went back again before my flight home! As expected, the hotel staff were very friendly and the facilities were excellent, so it was very comfortable! Also, for dinner and lunch, I ate at the restaurant in the hotel, and the desserts and pizza were very delicious!

There is also a sauna next to the pool, but I didn't have time to experience it. The breakfast was also good, the only thing I felt was that the bed was a little soft and the room was a little old, but it was clean

A nice location hotel. roomsize good. friendly staff. just it got really cold in the middle of night.So I woke up and put on more clothes then slept again.

The location of the hotel was good. Although the front desk staff can be kind of grumpy and not assisting with us when our room was so stuffy. However, overall a good stay.

My room was on the 7th floor and on the west side. I could open the big window, and the view was so good. It was such a refreshing room

The hotel is not far from the center, the metro is 800 meters away, there are restaurants, McDonald's, sandwich shops etc. The room is very comfortable, the breakfast is good, the staff is kind and multilingual

If the room is facing the courtyard, it is very quiet at night. It is convenient that in addition to the bed there is a sofa and armchairs with a small round table. The breakfast is hearty enough

The room was like a doghouse, only as wide as the bed, so you could only get in from behind. The sides were black and greasy from the previous occupants. The bathroom was fine, and so was the breakfast

Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of fresh options, and everything was well organized. What really stood out to me was the high level of service and the calm, welcoming atmosphere

I'm really not a big breakfast fan, but they offered anything from custom omelettes, cheese/meat platters, bread baskets and so much more. The check in is on the 5th floor which is a little weird

They couldn't get our chrome cast to work and it was Christmas Day so they sent us wine and choccies. Best location in Vienna absolutely cannot wait to stay again

Great location Location is the best, especially as we only had 1 night stay. Rooms not too pretty but larger than most so that’s a bonus, good size bathroom

I have stayed at many hotels as a frequent traveler. This is the best hotel I've stayed at. Service, location, room, restaurant, and more were excellent.

The room fully corresponds to the description and photo, all plumbing and electronics are in working order. Breakfast was somewhat monotonous, but restaurant had a separate table with New Year's treats

Very nice people at the reception. Good location, very close to the train station. One “watch out” is the parking - it’s either in the nearby Ibis hotel (up to 1. 9 m high for the car) or out in the street

all good , is clean ,but maybe have some time , the wooden floor have some weired sound

The only complain is I do not seem to find CCTV in the fitness room (which located in the basement), so I’m a bit reluctant to use it

It's on Praterstrasse and very central. There's a car park at the back of the hotel, but we didn't use it, so I don't know its status. From what I saw, there were spaces for 10-12 cars. It's very close to the center

Aside from the difficulty of finding parking, everything was great. The location was particularly convenient, making it easy to explore Vienna's many tourist attractions on foot

The carpet really needs to be replaced.  Lots of noise from people opening and closing doors and from the apartments in the other side of courtyard. Underground literally outside the door

You can reach the metro in 1 minute on foot, and from there, everything is easy to get to. The ground floor is like a cafe/bar, and the reception is on the floor above. The staff are helpful and friendly

You can walk to the Innerstadt area in 15 minutes. You can also reach the canal bank in 10 minutes on foot. Besides that, it's almost 20 meters from the bus stop and metro

Our room was on the second floor, a quiet room facing the back. Upon entering the area where the rooms are located, you get the feeling of entering a student dormitory

There's a tram stop and supermarket right outside, and the nearest subway station is a 10-minute walk. The environment is rather compact, fitting the stereotypical European style

The room was clean, and there's a restaurant and bar on the first floor. Overall, it was a good place. It's very close to the Vienna Ferris Wheel.

The location of this property is ideal if you don’t mind taking a 30 minute walk to the main attractions like St. Stephen Cathedral and the main shopping area

The hotel facilities are good, and there are hairdryers available. The location is also good, with convenient access to public transportation.
