Where to stay with car in Vienna

Staff was excellent! Subway station near by. All important sights easily accessible by subway and walking. Breakfast very nice

This hotel is well located near the core of Wien and the staff is very friendly and prepared; they were perfect. I can say that the price is very good because the quality is so high

Would recommend if you want to explore Vienna in just 48 hours given the proximity with public transport. Super market is also nearby for water and other requirements

This being the oldest hotel in Vienna (since 1601), there’s no need to say the hotel has character. My room wasn’t large, but it was cozy and comfy. Antique furniture in good condition. The breakfasts were really good

The service at the breakfast buffet and at dinner is top notch, the breakfast spread is good, their Wienerschnitzel and Kaiserschmarrn are to die for. The room we had was spacious with a view to the inner courtyard

The location is decent, about a 10-minute walk from St. On the flip side, it's quiet as it faces a street that isn't too busy and most of the rooms face the courtyard between two streets

Although the hotel is ancient, it has been beautifully renovated, with historical elements and exposed pieces carefully preserved throughout, truly reminding guests of its history

The hotel is in a great location! It is right on Carinthia Street, and there is a shopping mall right outside. It is very convenient to go anywhere. The room is very nice and quiet. The water pressure is very strong

The hotel address may be for people to walk to, and it is not possible to drive there. It is recommended that Ctrip add the address of the hotel, Naschmarkt No. 5, so that the car can reach it

My room type requires 10 steps of stairs, which is really difficult for me who has a sprained waist and has to carry a 20-inch suitcase. But here I have to praise the hotel waiter

Great Hotel in city center It's really great hotel. The bedroom were big and very clean. As to the location is in the center of Vienna it's a pleasant 15 minute walk into town or there is a tram at the end of the road

Location is around a 40 minute walk to the centre but we preferred this as to you get to see the outskirts, it’s a scenic walk and around 20 minutes into it you come across the Naschmarkt which is worth seeing! Breakfast has all you need, hot drinks, eggs, bacon, breads, cakes, meats, cereals and yogurt etc

Room was on level 5! Room 512 and was spacious and clean! I would have preferred a mini fridge in the room as there isn’t one but everything else is fine, has a very good hairdryer and a powerful and hot shower

The staff was very nice and pleasant, they changed for free our room from medium to large since we were with a toddler. Also they invited us for free coffee even though we didn’t stay for breakfast

bar seemed to open more towards the evening/night. Nearest shop/supermarket is around a 10 minute walk which shuts 8pm and the receptionist can help tell you the directions

Lovely amenities in the room Gym/Sauna - Gym is good, small, but ample of equipment for a good workout. Was there 6 days and the only person ever in there (9am-10pm)

The room was very clean, and the bathroom was sparkling white – perfect for selfies! The facilities were comprehensive; my only minor complaint was that the hairdryer wasn't very powerful, but everything else was outstanding

Location of hotel was easy to find and very near the U-Bahn station. However, the station has no elevator/escalator, so you have to bring your luggage up and down the stairs. Check-in and check-out are quick and simple

There are multiple entry and exit points so do see which is nearer to your door; we mostly used the 2nd elevator nearer to the mall. Room is cosy and spacious; fits luggages very comfortably with space to spare

The location is ideal. The staff are friendly. Free minibar with lots of drinks to enjoy. Free water and wine for enjoyment from 1-10pm daily is a pleasant surprise in the lounge. The room is spacious and lovely.

The Leo Grand Hotel is really hard to fault. I don't know why it is only a 4-star hotel, but it is a 5-star hotel from facilities to services. First of all, the location is great

However the whole hotel is in dire need of a renovation: the furniture looked as it's never been changed since the '70s (and not in a good, retro way), the carpet had many stains and the general impression was of a hotel which has not seen a major refurbishment in too many decades

There is a Metro station very close to otel by using this metro, you can go anywhere and you can come from the airport by only using one metro. The location is almost perfect. You’re near the Belvedere Palace

This hotel is a good value for money, located near Belvedere Palace. Transportation isn't particularly convenient, but the subway station is about a ten-minute walk away

Hotel is centrally located, tram is just 30 second (Nusdorfer Strasse) and in front of the hotel and train is about 10 min walk (Spittelau station)

very accessible to public transport. lagenfeldgasse U4 and U6 Niederhoffestrasse staff are ok with good service. It was very close to some landmarks including Belverdere Palace and Schonbrunn

Maybe you can add more guard in the receptionist area since outside people may enter the hotel area too. Breakfast buffet is also clean and quite delicious

We had a deluxe room (404), huge with an entrance where you can leave jackets and shoes and then two double beds and a large bathroom. Excellent breakfast, abundant both sweet and savory

The surrounding area we initially were a little wary of as it seemed a bit off the beaten track and in a more residential area but it took us no time to reach anywhere important and is a very short walk to the main train station and the theme park

We stayed this weekend with the family (10/12 January 2025), me, my wife and our daughters. What can I say, a beautiful hotel. In the center, but not on a busy street, with one metro stop you are at the cathedral

Not far from the Palace of Beauty and the market of Nash and the church of Karl There is a billa supermarket and restaurants nearby and there is a lot of Chinese food on the road leading to the u4 metro station

If you plan to go early, before breakfast time, ask the day before for a meal and they will prepare it for you (24 hours). Ask for a card at the reception and the address to give to the taxi (is on it)

There is a small market that’s not managed by the hotel that has basic products, from toothpaste/toothbrush up to beer. It only accepts card as payment

The breakfast buffet was international, with constant replacement of any product that may be low in quantity or out. The only down side from the breakfast was the size of the glass. Too small, not comfortable at all

My most recent stay in Vienna at NH Wien City was fully in line with the positive experiences I’ve had with this hotel chain. What stood out this time was the very spacious room, which had an apartment-like feel

The service was excellent. Elena was very attentive and recommended the hotel's sauna. Just wait half an hour for it to reach the desired temperature, and then you can relax.

The city center (1st district) can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, and Stephansplatz is only 3 subway stops away. As always, everything was perfect!

The location of this hotel couldn’t be better – tram stop right outside the hotel making it so easy to explore the city. We were only there for one night, but I truly wish we could have stayed longer

The hotel is in a great location! It's very convenient for sightseeing and shopping! You can board a horse-drawn carriage right outside the hotel for tours. The room interiors are stylish, and the restaurant is decent

The biggest issue, however, was the room layout, especially the small bathroom area, which made it impossible to open or close the door with a floor mat, as it would get stuck in the gap—an absurdity for a hotel of this caliber

I've stayed there at the end of October 2025,for 3 nights. Great location vs money paid - a decent neighborhood, right next to the subway station and a Billa shop. Parking available at a decent price

We stayed with a group of friends during the first Advent weekend of 2025. We booked the last two premium rooms and got lucky to get one of the rooms promoted to a suite

The other room was OK, though very simple for the price we paid, with no view, only two small skylight windows (IMHO the room should not be offered as a premium room)

Odd at first but once you realize how many places there are to eat it becomes less of an issue. It is clean has nice rooms and the service for everything else is excellent. The people are friendly and helpful too

Near City Hall and the Volksgarten park the hotel is walking distance to most major areas and if you aren't a walker you can hop on any public transportation with a pass you can purchase at the hotel
