Where to stay with car in Vienna

The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious Staff are very friendly and helpful too. Air-conditioning in room could be better. Other than that we loved our stay. Close to station too!

Initial Room unfortunately not clean, there was hair everywhere on the mattress, not how it's supposed to be for a 4 star hotel. Front desk was nice enough to give me a bigger room that was definitely cleaner.

Hotel very modern and pretty and parking underneath the hotel was great however windows were a downside because they are fixed in place

The location was excellent — close to the U-Bahn, with cafés and shops within walking distance, yet quiet enough for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating and professional throughout my visit

Great room just across from the opera house. Wonderful after a late performance when everyone else is grabbing cabs & I could be in bed a few minutes later. Room is beautifully furnished & budget priced

The apartment was nice, good location. The bathroom was very strange. The water cylinder was inside the bathtub, and the toilet was so high that no one could reach the floor while sitting.

Very good location, spacious room and courteous service. However -- breakfast has room for improvement and and the 'hotel' was very difficult to find.

We stay in a room which can accommodate 3 persons and l a little kitchen is in the room so if you have plenty of time so can prepare some quick food

Room is quite small and not much extra service. Staffs are friendly who are willing to tell you where to explore around

Very friendly service. Our room was in the back courtyard on a kind of gallery. Quite quiet. Only other guests were loud when they walked across the corridor past our window.

He helped me ship packages back to the US and was a friendly face every single day. This is a family run business and they go above and beyond every day

The bathroom is modern, the beds are a bit too low, and the mattresses are hard. Pleasant with thick carpet on the room floor and no noise from the neighbours

Perhaps it was 4 stars in 1970, but it's far from that now. Parking is nearby at a good price, and you pay for it at the hotel. In short, if you're on a tight budget and don't want to stay in a hostel

The train ride from the city is just 10 or so minutes but kinda annoying whe you are exhausted from sightseeing

Small details like the curtain (perfectly black out the room) to a small box covering the lights from the aircon control, show the owners spared no expenses in making this hotel a home away from home

This is absolutely a fantastic hotel. We actually stayed here twice on a two week journey through the region, once on the way in for four days, and then later before we flew home for three more days

We stayed at the Hotel Zur Wiener Staatsoper with our family of six people for 5 nights, and it was nothing short of an extraordinary stay! We've traveled extensively throughout Europe, in large resorts and also small boutique hotels, and none were as charming, well-run, meticulously clean, and attentive to guests as this hotel

It would've also been nice to have a fridge and kettle in the room but we managed fine with the free tea/coffee on the 5th floor

We didn’t add the (very expensive) breakfast. The roof was clean and adequate but very cramped. The shower is a giant open glass box in the middle of the room and it was quite a hike to our room

The “self checkin” is a pain in the butt and when I wrote ahead for some advice on getting there from the airport got a canned answer that they don’t offer that service- absolutely not what I asked

Overall, it was a pretty good stay. The staff were friendly, but there were no slippers, shampoo, or other toiletries provided, so I'd recommend bringing your own. The location was quite good!

Its a short walk to the Leopold museum and the main art history and natural history museums. Everything is spacious clean and comfortable. Plenty of power sockets and lights

We have chose this place as had walking distance to the zoo and also we could leave the car there for a small fee. Clean nice rooms, a little bit old style building but matching deco which was adding a great atmosphere

The cables for the light or the TV were just lying there on the floor like you would have while renovating. Other than that the room is clean and there are plenty of towels there for you

Our room was spacious and clean - only wish they had black out curtains. Besides that, no complaints and great value!

In the large courtyard you can stroll under the huge trees, the natural plane tree also invites you (but be careful with storms: it is said that the popular Austrian writer Odon von Horwarth was killed by a plane tree branch in 1938, when he wanted to escape from a storm, but in Paris)

There have been several instances where employees opened doors without knocking. Be careful.

I like it very much. The subway comes out very early. There is a zoo opposite and there are many places to eat around. The hotel is very cost-effective. I will stay here again next time I go to Vienna.

The hotel has an excellent restaurant, the interior is magnificent. Also, it is worth noting that it rained during our vacation and at the reception we were given two convenient umbrellas

It is a little far from the subway station, so it is not particularly convenient to carry a suitcase, but it is acceptable considering the price and the proximity to Schönbrunn Palace

The Ritz-Carlton is a few steps away, and the Strauss Sculpture Park is a few minutes' walk away. The breakfast is hard to describe. The bread was left overnight, and the coffee was capsule coffee

The location is good, it’s convenient to go anywhere! The only small drawback is that there are so many rooms on the first floor, it's like a maze to find your way around

The standard of the truly quiet room and bathroom can easily be compared or let say tops some of the high class big brand hotels. I liked much that there was a supermarkt next door

The hotel information should have provided instructions for the heat (which was more than sufficient). They use radiators (covered by the window curtains) and there is a tial and error period to get it just right

The room was spotless, the breakfast was brilliant and all the staff were pleasant and helpful. 5 mins from the underground, 10 mins from the main Christmas market and about 20 mins to walk into the central shopping area

Boutique Hotel 🏨 Very spacious rooms. Delicious breakfast with a cook that baked and boiled the eggs just the way I love them. Delicious coffee, fresh juices, ... Also a bath tub in my room, something I love.
