Where to stay with car in Vienna

The building is magically beutiful. It is very close to everywhere. Trust that you will love this hotel

Stayed here for a 3 day business trip and I summarize good/bad aspects here: 🟢 Positive - The location could not be better than this. It’s in the most central area of the city and easy to walk to most attractions

- Free coffee/tea at the lobby was perfect. 🔴 Negative - The mattress was not high quality and it was sunken as a result of being used for so many years I guess. - The pillows were either too soft or too tight

- The staff were super nice and helpful. Specially the turkish girl at the breakfast saloon. They helped whenever they could and we asked for. - Breakfast was tasty and you have various options to choose from

- There were no specific shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. It was just the same bottle of handwash in there. 💯 This hotel completely worth it for the value🤞🏻

The room is reasonably clean, but let down by old, low-grade furnishings. It is also clearly a partitioned space, as it lacks a proper door frame

The highest rating and the rooms and service,and location. Don't know when was renovatie,but a renovation in classical style all rooms are just perfect

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, making it incredibly easy to visit nearly all the main attractions. Breakfast was also delicious, and the cleanliness truly exceeded my expectations.

The only little downside to the room is that there were 5 steps of stairs in my room that made it a little challenging for me to lift my luggage out and also a potential risk of accident of missing a step but this is not significant for me

The location is impeccable as I can walk to all the tourist attractions that I have planned for myself. The staff was friendly and helpful. I got help with my luggage to my room and my tickets printed out very promptly

Nice hotel with a vintage style and well maintained character. Room was on the small size as well as the bathroom. Very clean, eco friendly and accessable for physically challenged people

Great location to the St Stephens Cathedral area of town. Very clean hotel and great staff. They were so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were big and nice and clean. It’s the oldest hotel in Vienna!

The lady at the front desk was very kind! The room was cute and clean. The bar next to the front desk was also nice. I could hear noises from the surrounding rooms, so be careful if you're sensitive

Amazing property and the penthouse suite is a one of a kind room. The entire property is beautiful and the service was outstanding. Beautiful view of St Stephen’s Catherdral and close to everything

My one complaint about the tub was more for my traveling companion, who was 79 years old and who had the room next to mine. While I found the tub luxurious, she found it anxiety inducing

The hotel was clean and spacious, the staff were friendly, the moisturiser smells amazing! The location is good, close walk to the cathedral and downtown. Parking as usual in Europe was expensive.

Great location, beautiful beautiful Vienna style building, great interiors. Rooms were HUGE! Everything from start till end was very nice. The staff was quick, friendly very helpful. Check-in and check-out was a breeze

Well, we had a really good, second, time there. And I think i’m coming back. But somehow i miss the the extra stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️. Do not get me wrong. Everyone treated us extremely well. So don’t miss this wonderful hotel.

Perfect location in Vienna, gorgeous hotel, excellent breakfast/brunch (and on the weekends the brunch is offered until 2pm, which was really appreciated), very comfortable bed + pillow menu (so there is something for everyone), lovely wellness/spa area with saunas and steam room, nicely equipped fitness room, *fabulous* lap pool, top notch, friendly, & helpful staff who take care of your needs and...

Breakfast menu was varied and had a large choice of items, many cooked to order. The bar is small but has a relaxed ambience. Lots of different champagnes to choose from also. Good position for exploring the city

It's at a walking distance from the cities major attractions which made it a prime location to stay at. It's located near Vienna’s Naschmarkt - a major market in Vienna

The room has a kettle, tea, and ground coffee, as well as a reasonably priced minibar. We didn't include breakfast, but there are plenty of cafes near the hotel

I especially loved the little table by the bed; I sat there and ate dinner I had bought from the supermarket, followed by afternoon tea. The hotel also has a lounge, where guests can enjoy afternoon tea breaks

The hotel is conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk from the tram and subway stations. Although amenities are minimal, the room is spacious and comfortable, making it a good value for money stay.

The hotel is 2 metro stations away from Vienna Main Station. It is also walkable within 15min. There is a shopping street nearby which I like it as I can find food and needed stuff

The only downside is the hotel don't provide free water, will need to get bottled water from supermarket or drink the tap. Other than this, the rest is satisfactory. The cleaner will make the room everyday which is good

The room is a bit old, the soundproofing is not good, and the breakfast is average, but the front desk service is very good, and there is a fitness center with good facilities

Good breakfast, walking distance to the train station, must see the Belvedere museum, clean facilities and good service!

Overall, it was a pretty good stay. The staff were friendly, but there were no slippers, shampoo, or other toiletries provided, so I'd recommend bringing your own. The location was quite good!

Its a short walk to the Leopold museum and the main art history and natural history museums. Everything is spacious clean and comfortable. Plenty of power sockets and lights

It would've also been nice to have a fridge and kettle in the room but we managed fine with the free tea/coffee on the 5th floor

We didn’t add the (very expensive) breakfast. The roof was clean and adequate but very cramped. The shower is a giant open glass box in the middle of the room and it was quite a hike to our room

The “self checkin” is a pain in the butt and when I wrote ahead for some advice on getting there from the airport got a canned answer that they don’t offer that service- absolutely not what I asked

The restaurant and bar offer 24-hour tea and coffee, and you can also borrow a kettle from your room. Breakfast features local cuisine. The rooms, restaurant, and hallways are all beautifully decorated

The hotel isn't located on the main street, but it's easily found via navigation from the subway station. Aside from Schönbrunn Palace, other popular attractions are within walking distance

Clean, beautiful, good location, and very quiet. There is also a jazz bar on the front floor with a lot of red wine, which is quite good 😌

Location is conveniently located to the city hall and Voltive Church. Not so convenient if you are taking the hop on hop off buss via the Vienna pass. If transit, than it is a very convenient location

Continental breakfast, fresh bread, cheese, sliced meat. More important is the location of the hotel in relation to the city. Cozy shopping area, walkable streets, restaurants all over….! Explore and enjoy.

I would also say that the price here was higher than the other hotels we stayed at that all had better room conditions. A bit overpriced but I’m sure that’s because of the location and convenience in the heart of Vienna

I would give it 5 stars but took one off due to a need for updates in regard to room. The shower over tub was very difficult to climb in and out from, plus the room decor was basically nonexistent, nothing on the walls

The room was spotless and hotel staff were extremely nice, however the bed was so hard that we had back aches during the entire stay.

Nice Hotel for a stay in Vienna. Overall good and to be recommended. We were there in Winter time and room heating could not be properly adjusted. Opening the window helped, but there is noise in the area due to bars

The cleaning team came into my room before I had checked out - the hotel should notify the cleaning team once guests have checked out before coming to clean the room

In the large courtyard you can stroll under the huge trees, the natural plane tree also invites you (but be careful with storms: it is said that the popular Austrian writer Odon von Horwarth was killed by a plane tree branch in 1938, when he wanted to escape from a storm, but in Paris)

There have been several instances where employees opened doors without knocking. Be careful.

I like it very much. The subway comes out very early. There is a zoo opposite and there are many places to eat around. The hotel is very cost-effective. I will stay here again next time I go to Vienna.

The hotel has an excellent restaurant, the interior is magnificent. Also, it is worth noting that it rained during our vacation and at the reception we were given two convenient umbrellas

It is a little far from the subway station, so it is not particularly convenient to carry a suitcase, but it is acceptable considering the price and the proximity to Schönbrunn Palace

A hotel with an unbeatable location, cozy, and small, which makes it comfortable and cozy. The staff is excellent; since there aren't many rooms, the interaction is more personal. The beds and pillows are perfect

The hotel is very well located, close to the city center but quiet. They offered eggs cooked to order every morning, and there was also a wide variety of fruit, pastries, and more. I would definitely stay again

The location of the hotel is very nice. Right next to the metro, transportation is nice and easy, you can get there without thinking. The breakfast is very filling, you will never go hungry

The location in Vienna was decent, though a bit tucked away in an alley. Still, it was less than a 10-minute walk from the central station, which was great

If you need to buy water, there's a supermarket nearby, but be quick as it closes early. As for the room condition, it felt a bit like a dormitory

The drainage in the shower wasn't good, so water would leak towards the toilet every time I showered. However, the place has been recently renovated and feels very clean overall

The actual faculty is quite nice as well, with comfortable beds and a fantastic breakfast (included with stay)

After reading a number of negative reviews I have been expecting worse. In reality I got a good value for money! It has been exactly what I would expect for the hotel 50-60 euro/night end even more

There are no teapots in the rooms, neither downstairs but it has been known in advance, hence cannot really give 4 stars for it. The bus stops in-front and it takes 20 minutes to get to the Opera

No air conditioning which was an issue. It was extremely hot in Vienna during our stay. The fan provided kept us going. Plenty of food and shops nearby. Bus stop is pretty much outside the door

I can imagine that the hotel has different rooms and we have book our room almost 6 month in advance. As the result we have had a room on the top floor with the balcony and bath

The hotel is a bit worn our but just a bit. it is not a 4 stat hotel to expect that everything is perfect. The only negative part is that there is no option to have a tea

It’s really close to underground metro and the staff is amazing. They made our room ready at 10 even though we were supposed to be at 14

They also let us leave our luggage at the desk once we were leaving and got nowhere to leave it. The manager printed out tickets for museum when we asked him. Beds were amazing and bathroom clean and shining

The breakfest does not have the biggest veriaty but it is always fresh and the workers there make sure nothing will be missed even for a minute (bringing new food all the time)

Hotel has been recently renovated and it felt very comfortable until now. Good breakfast and good service with anything we asked for. It is overall a good experience despite us having to move a room on the second day

The Ritz-Carlton is a few steps away, and the Strauss Sculpture Park is a few minutes' walk away. The breakfast is hard to describe. The bread was left overnight, and the coffee was capsule coffee

The location is good, it’s convenient to go anywhere! The only small drawback is that there are so many rooms on the first floor, it's like a maze to find your way around
