This was second time staying here, enjoyed both times very much. Small, 'boutique' experience with lots of character and charm. The bar/restaurant has a great vibe and the rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. Location is great, easy walk to everything - even skiing and/or ski bus. Sauna/steam room are ok - enough for the size of the hotel. Breakfast is good, parking onsite for 12 Euros and pet fee is 25 Eur/night. Overall would recommend, if you want a more 'boutique' experience for a reasonable rate.

My first impression of the hotel was creepy, but I was pleasantly surprised at how almost normal staff were, room was warm and cosey, but the sheets did smell a little funky. Not suitable for veggies and anyone on a budget, drinks are overpriced.

Just the most relevant thinks: - restaurant is nice, food is average. With one exception when it was above average . Very nice personnel!! - if the hotel is fully booked with skiers no room for boots and skis - the bathroom is stinky, sewage smells all day, if window kept open you can feel like going to toilet in the woods in the winter. Not pleasant when having a shower. - going for a bath with exchange clothes…. better not , no hook or a hanger. It was a bar where the toiletry bag was hanged. It was removed and the toiletry bag was put in bidé. I had a discussion with receptionist and the housekeeper. - bathroom door opening is a concert of technical noise - the same sewage odor in the toilet near the restaurant - house keeping is random and if the toilet paper finished you have to ask from the receptionist - breakfast average but very crowded around the plates when the hotel is fully booked. So, in general is acceptable if no high standards. Feels like at country side in a parvenue accommodation.

We just love everything about this unique boutique hotel where the owners and staff are warm, welcoming and have great service. We will continue to return here and can highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful!
The staff was so so so friendly! And the room was beautiful. The breakfeast was great and we are overall so impressed. We are definately coming back. Thank you for the hospitality. Love from the swedish family.

Good place for a ski stop.
Super service-minded staff. Delicious and good cuisine, bar & restaurant area and offerings. The rooms have what they need, but could probably do with an upgrade;)

I had an extremely negative experience. The owner, Olaf, was very rude and even suggested we leave if we had any issues. Despite booking a room for 4 people, as advertised on Booking, it turned out they simply added two extra beds to the existing room. We sought acknowledgment and fair treatment, but sadly, we encountered unprofessionalism. I will steer clear of this place in the future, as the experience felt deceptive and left much to be desired.

Regina Hotel is a really fancy and comfy place. The rooms are super nice, and the food at Regina is amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's in a great location, so you can easily explore. It's the perfect spot for a special and unforgettable getaway

"Best Friends Weekend" in Bad Gastein – we couldn't have chosen a better place than "Das Regina Hotel." I actually wanted to book another hotel locally. However, the lack of service and long wait times for questions about my booking put me off. Luckily, otherwise we wouldn't have ended up at "Das Regina Hotel." The responses and reactions were prompt, personal, and professional. What can I say… we didn't regret it. Two rooms, two balconies, two bathrooms connected by a connecting door, and all with a wonderful view of the valley. A team so warm and welcoming that we didn't want to leave the hotel. Excellent coffee, delicious cakes, a wonderful dinner, exquisite wines (all at reasonable prices), and a breakfast that left nothing to be desired (organic products, lots of fresh fruit, and again, the excellent coffee). Yes, the hotel is showing its age – but that's exactly what we liked. Yes, the bathrooms are old – but so clean and delightful that it's a joy. Yes, the team doesn't speak perfect German, but they anticipate your every need. Yes, we'll be back, dear Jason Houzer and his wonderful team :-)
