Hotel Metzgerwirt in Kirchberg

Great location. Good staff. Food nice. Room was clean and serviced daily however it was on the small side.

An excellent hotel situated centrally to the town with easy access to the bus system and into the town. The breakfast selection included yogurt fruit cereal ham cheese bacon egg boiled fried and scrambled fruit croissants and various cakes. At 3.30pm a selection of cakes and teas and coffee. Dinner was 5 courses selected the evening before which was of a very high standard all staff are a credit to the hotel especially the chef and the waitresses. I would definitely return to this hotel and cannot recommend this hotel enough. Thank you for your hospitality

The Metzgerwirt is one our favourite places to stay - my family comes every year now, and it is our favourite hotel in the area, despite having tried some of the 'fancier' hotels. The staff are so welcoming and kind, and it feels very family orientated. The rooms are lovely, with nice seating areas and bathrooms, and spotlessly clean. The food is exceptional! We have meat eaters and vegetarians in our family and every dish we've ever had here has been excellent. The dining area is quaint, with some traditional Austrian decor.

Stayed here for my ski trip whilst visiting Kitzski! Hotel is five stars for everything. All the staff were exceptional and they give you a voucher for a schnapps at the bar. Brilliant location that’s walking distance to everything in Kirchberg and they have parking.

Breakfast is a deluxe buffet that’s great before a long day of skiing.

100% recommend this hotel for anyone in the area!

Very polite, friendly and attentive hosts.
We arrived late, they helped us with the luggage and saved us some dinner which otherwise we would’ve missed.
5 stars for that!
Our rooms had a nice balcony with a view; they were clean and functional. Interior could use a little (modern) update but it was ok and comfortable.
Breakfast is very nice, dinner was quite good.
There’s a little playground in the yard, and also an indoor playroom for kids! Great for rainy days.
Hotel is located in a cute small town, you can walk to restaurants, shops etc.
There’s a river just behind the hotel, very nice for nature walks. You can hear the noise from the river with open windows, which I personally find pleasant.
Didn’t have a chance to try out the spa but it would’ve been available.
All in all a very friendly experience!

Very friendly staff, striving to make everything as easy as possible and making sure the stay is as pleasant as it can be (e.g. asked the kitchen staff to keep the kitchen open so that we can have dinner despite late arrival time). Well-located, close to the bus stop, with plenty of shops and rental services around.

Good food, nice people, comfy bed. Very clean rooms. Nice shower. They have a new Wi-Fi now, but it is still superbad.

We had a great romantic bike vacation in the hotel.
The hotel is located by a river, quiet, very clean, very bike-friendly. plenty of bike trails and 2 beautiful lakes in the area. The crew was very nice, the manger helped us a lot with our trails plan and his tips were essential to us. The food was great. We had breakfast and dinner for 4 days and everything was fresh and delicious. The service in the restaurant is stunning.
The SPA was just perfect, like a dream, with all best facilities.
Couldn't ask for more...
