We should highlight one thing - When we reached there in Irshad Hotel at midnight, we realized that they had no information about our booking. The agency had done no communication with the hotel guys

But the receptionist (I am sorry, I forgot his name) was very friendly and he allowed us to stay there without asking anything more. They sorted out this the next day with the booking agency

The location of the hotel is really central. You can find convenience stores, cafes and pharmacies in the same street. The staff was really hospitable and cheerful. Their breakfast was delicious and given to us fastly

The breakfast is decent with options for vegetarians, and the hotel is close to the boulevard, carpet museum, etc. There are other restaurants and shops nearby and the place is safe to walk around

You can get a card at the airport entrance. The airport shuttle bus takes you to the train station entrance. The hotel is a short walk from there, located near the metro station entrance and the airport shuttle bus stop

Be careful not to get lost at night; the area near the train station is very dangerous. The hotel staff are friendly. You can ask for a sandwich in advance if you miss breakfast

Without a UK transit visa, I bought a new ticket in Baku and stayed there for a while. The airport shuttle bus is convenient, running every 15 minutes during the day and every 40 minutes at night

The windows offer views of the city and part of the sea, but all the windows are barred. While it looks nice from the outside, the view from the inside is inconvenient, but not critical

Overall it was okay, but the rooms facing the Caspian Sea were a bit noisy. It was good value for money, and after some negotiation, the front desk staff changed us to a quieter room.

Although it's a little far from the center of Baku, it's in a great location with a terrace overlooking the Caspian Sea. It was during the F1 season, so I don't know the market price, but I think the price was reasonable

The room is relatively old, the breakfast is very average, there are not many things, the advantage is that if the window faces the Caspian Sea, the view is good

cleanliness of the room is mediocre; my most concern was the kettle & glasses provided in the room, it was dirty (sticky inside and has brown residue). room service was quite hard due to language barrier

note 2: ive tried making different requests for the breakfast menu but they really failed to understand what i meant or most of the time, they dont have available ingredients so i just appreciately ate what theyve provided which i am now used to

guests best believe that there will be a buffet (or at least variety of dishes) served during breakfast but it wasnt what as expected. dining area was empty and only available things to choose are bread and sweets

my concern was not all guests will eat this type of food as there is no variation and some might have allergy. i suggest to at least create different dishes to served for the guests or take requests from them

note 1: regarding the thrown out personal belonging, i just let it pass as it is not a major concern and i believe it will just create a cause when talked with the management due to language barrier

room signs aren't provided or present in the door (whether this is a foreign culture or not, it must be provided since personal belongings are present as well as valuables of the guest/s)

The outdoor pool is great and the water slides are fun. And the beach is really nice and well maintained. The kids room is nice too, and there's Amburan Mall 5 minutes drive away that has some awesome kids activities

I stayed in Khazri hotel a while ago, highly recommended for vacation trip in Summer All crew members were very friendly and professional but Mt Abdul was crew I liked most . He was very decent and caring members
