The good part: Excellent location, amazing rooftop pool and superb breakfast.
The worst part: the hotel has depreciated quite a bit over time, with mold around exhaust fan in the bathroom; dirty sun lounger on the room's terrace; the fact that room's terraces on the first floor are literally into each other without any privacy; amazingly how they charge you for the parking of the hotel per night, no matter that you are hotel's guest; loud music starting around 01:00 AM till 04:30 AM from the night club accross the street and the fact they can't handle that so you have to sleep in a closed windows and doors; the lack of mosquito nets; central air conditioning system with almost no control and not working properly; the fact that we asked for a higher floor room, but they proudly answered to us that there booking system automatically allocate your room and they can't do anything for it (I mean come on... :D).

Great hotel, very clean

I’ve been visiting this hotel every year for the past 10 years and always considered it the best option in Sozopol – great location, close to town, and just a quick taxi ride to the trendy beach clubs. Unfortunately, this year I got an “upgrade” of a different kind. By booking through *******, I ended up with a tiny room and a view hardly worth looking at. Apparently, lower price = lower quality, and a decade of loyalty means absolutely nothing here. Too bad – I used to recommend this hotel to friends… now I’ll have to think twice myself.

Spent 10 day's at this hotel,with my partner, we are on our last day booo.. The hotel 🏨 is of excellent standard, Breakfast is of a good standard, in our opinion there is plenty to choose from. You can eat breakfast alfresco, or in the restaurant overlooking the marina.. We didn't eat in the restaurant of an evening so can't comment.. The rooms are cleaned to a very high standard,lovely thick towels changed everyday and night gowns provided, luxury toiletries replenished every day, Reception staff are all lovely, and always greet you with a smile 😃 😊, and nothing is to much trouble for them. Stayed in a standard double room (room 120) Plenty of room for our needs, [well my missus needs 😄].Air con, worked as it should... Some English movie channels on the TV. Mini bar in the room, a little space left in the fridge, if you wanted to buy milk from a shop for your morning cup of tea. The whole hotel is exceptionally clean and smells fresh, even in the lifts! Top floor plunge pool views are amazing, very comfortable sunbeds. Shaded areas if needed. Order drinks from your sunbed. Plenty of places to sit and relax within the hotel Beach towels available at reception upon request. Overall 10/10 stay Plenty and I mean plenty of restaurant within walking distance of the hotel,the old town is just stunning..

We very much enjoyed our laid-back stay at this beautiful hotel in Sozopol. Our room was beautiful with a terrific view of the harbor. Breakfast was very good and the location is great for many restaurants, shops, the beach, and a harbor cruise which we enjoyed. The staff gave us some excellent recommendations for dining out at places with a lovely view of the bay.

Lovely hotel in a great location, with friendly helpful staff. Rooms are spotless and the bed comfy. Only one minor gripe was that there wasn't any black tea available at breakfast, had to buy my own from a local supermarket

Expensive but fair, considering its ideal location and the fact that the base room includes access to a free sauna and Turkish bath available throughout the day. The breakfast is mediocre, more fitting for a four-star hotel than a five-star. We stayed in the best room—suite 108. It was very spacious, excellent kingsize bed, a large terrace and a lovely view.

Lovely hotel. Unfortunately they changed the air conditioning for heating the day we arrived which was totally unnecessary. It was incredibly hot during the night.
Also we received an unscheduled guest at 10pm - the bellboy entered the room without knocking as he went to the wrong room. Was not impressed!

We stayed in the standard room which does not have sea views. The room was quiet and clean, though relatively small and small bathroom. The decor was fairly ordinary and the bed was on a platform which was a bit dangerous at night. There was nowhere to sit in the room, just a stool for one - no chairs. The interior corridoors were very dark and it didn't feel like a plush hotel. There was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel but the price is excessive for what it is and compared to everywhere else we stayed in Romania and Bulgaria. We only chose to stay here as I couldn't find anything else in Sozopol that was at the higher end. The location is excellent - at edge of old town. The pool was open strange hours with no shade so not really usable. The staff were not 5 star standard service quality. The breakfast had lots of variety but again quality not as good as other places we stayed in Bulgaria and Romania. There seems to be limited competition in Sozopol at the moment. If the prices were lower then it may be more reasonable.
