TUI SUNEO Serenity Bay in Tsarevo

We visited with our 23 month old baby. This hotel is definitely not worth 4 stars.

ROOM : It was spacious, had a big bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. The furniture is old and is peeling so when we sat on the sofa, all the little bits were on our backs. The basic cleaning is done daily by friendly smiley cleaners, but the things you 'dont see at the first sight ' are left dirty, like top of the picture, top of the shower, under the bed even it is on wheels.

RESTAURANT : Good variety of food, including dessert. For the most part the food was tasty. Not everything was cooked properly though. The drinks tasted horrible so I was on water and coffee the whole holiday. The coffee machine is hit and miss, once it gives you a good coffee, the other time it is disgusting. The worst part about the restaurant was the staff taking plates away after you finished eating. Never have I seen people with such miserable faces. The girls outside didn't smile once, they were rude, pushing through with the trolley full of plates. It made us feel really uncomfortable and would expect more from the hotel restaurant like this. Big thank you to Ali, who was very much the opposite. He was helpful, got us a high chair, was smiling, said hello to us and our son. There was one more smiley guy, unfortunately didn't catch his name. The rest of the staff were very disappointing.

POOL : The pool area was cleaned daily. People were leaving cups everywhere though during the day. There is one lifeguard for the 3 pools. Most of the time he was nowhere to be found, on his phone or just facing the big pool. Not once have I seen him look at the children's pool.

LOCATION: The hotel is in a quiet place, close to nowhere. This is not the biggest tourist place. There are not many trips going from the town, so bear in mind when you want to experience more.
SERVICES: The receptionists were friendly enough. We had said the first day our safe in the room is locked, they said someone will come to unlock it, nobody came the whole stay.

The biggest problem for us was there were smokers everywhere. Even though there were designated places for smoking, people were smoking on the sunbeds. Or vaping outside in the restaurant. There was a man sitting at the edge of the children's swimming pool and was smoking! And nobody has told him anything. There are no rules followed and nobody enforces them.

Not very kid friendly, very loud music till late.

Apparently all inclusive, but this doesn't include the drinks in your own fridge in the room, they charge for them.
