Reviews
My room was CLEAN! I always go out and purchase cleaning supplies to make sure that my room is disinfected as well as clean as I keep my home and my cleaning sponge had not one spec of dirt or dust. Not off of ANY surface! That is such a relief.
I had an issue with the ac and bathroom sink which maintenance was sent over and resolved in under an hour!
The hotel is in the BEST location and has high end luxury shopping (if that is what you are looking for) inside the hotel and outside as well. You can walk up the street (2 minutes) to the Hyatt Regency take a free shuttle to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and there is easily accessible bus/ train transport in the area as well.
The ONLY improvement I would say is some upgrades should be completed - the carpet in my room was very old and worn and flared up my allergies in the evening which made it hard to sleep since I kept waking up to clear my sinuses. When I was out, I had no issues. It was only when I went back to my room. Hopefully the hotel will be updating that in all rooms soon. Thank you to everyone there I came in contact with who made my stay so welcoming!
Situated right in the heart of downtown, the hotel is just steps away from Robson Street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. It’s also a short walk to the Vancouver Art Gallery, Pacific Centre Mall, and the Waterfront/Coal Harbour area, all of which were wonderful to explore during my stay.
The service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent—warm, attentive, and professional. While the building itself is historic, the rooms and common areas are very clean and well maintained, which added to the charm of the overall experience.
I did run into some issues with both the wired and wireless internet, and ultimately relied on my mobile data. However, everything else more than made up for that inconvenience. The food at the hotel is truly top notch, whether you’re grabbing breakfast or enjoying a full dining experience, the quality is outstanding. I would highly recommend dining on‑site.
Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would not hesitate to return. It’s a classic Vancouver hotel in a prime downtown location, well worth visiting again.
The concierge team was also incredibly kind and helpful, making everything feel smooth and welcoming from the start.
We were especially impressed by the hotel’s complimentary car service — they dropped us off anywhere in the downtown area at no charge (we happily tipped the driver). That thoughtful perk made our stay even more enjoyable.
The live piano music at the bar was top notch and created such a beautiful atmosphere. It made our 20th anniversary weekend getaway feel even more special and memorable.
We truly love
