While there are fewer amenities, I was travelling with a friend and the hotel gave us a connecting room (two rooms with a shared door). It was clean, and provided enough space and privacy for both of us. It wasn’t luxurious, but it offered good value for the price and met our needs for a short stay.

I had a really enjoyable stay at the St. Regis. The front of house staff is friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is wonderful and the bed is very comfortable. It’s a pretty descent place for the money. There’s paid parking next to the building (roughly 10 bucks per night I think). My room had a big window so there was flawless air circulation the whole night. The bed was also great and I also had a great view! The sink in the room was a bit old, and the faucet was a little quirky, but I guess that's part of the hotel's unique character. It's really well-managed and orderly; there's no noise in the hallways or guest rooms. Even the shared bathrooms are spotless. What I really didn't like was the credit card deposit, just like five-star hotels. Why do budget hotels do this? It quickly maxes out my card!

We only stay here for night for New Year’s eve, great thing is that it cllose to shops and restaurants, you will get what you paid for, the room was big and having a great view but building were too old and having a smell, this hotel needs to be upgraded a bit. But for 1 night stay not bad for us.

Good place to spend the night. We lost our ferry and this place was the only available spot on a busy Vancouver night (hockey-rugby-comedian).
