Inn at Laurel Point in Victoria

I don’t ever leave reviews, but this place needs one. Everything was great, from the customer service on the phone calls, to the front staff, the room, the bed and pillows and to the restaurant and their staff. I got a king suite with the nice package and I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with the room after our dinner and they were more than willing to accommodate. The beds and pillows were actually comfortable and didn’t feel like a stack of cardboard. The food in the restaurant was good. Every staff member from the hotel, the coffee shop and the restaurant were very welcoming, looked happy and were authentically nice, not just the fake smile and wave.

Location is amazing and right on the water. Nice little café inside as well as as a great restaurant for the evening time.

We stayed there February 21st.
We booked several rooms for my sister's 80th birthday. Itsuki checked us in. She upgraded one of the rooms and arranged a lovely cheese plate for my sister. Her professionalism really added to this magical experience. We had a perfect time, thank you.

The Inn At Laurel Point is located right on Victoria Harbor. We stayed in one of their terrace suites overlooking the harbor. It is the second time we have stayed in this room and it may be one of the nicest rooms we stay in anywhere. The view is breathtaking with seaplanes, ships and boats coming and going and the city in the backdrop. The hotel is well located just outside of downtown, very close the the parliament building. Friendly, unpretentious staff combined with beautiful rooms, amazing views and great rates makes this one of our favorite hotels in the world. Highly recommended.

We had a great time staying at this beautiful property. The common areas felt very modern, clean, warm, and inviting. Our room, a terrace bedroom suite in the Erickson wing, was exactly the luxurious City getaway we were looking for, and that outdoor terrace can't be beat. The room was very comfortable and spacious, as was the king bed and comfy sofa bed in the living room, and we felt like it was very quiet, not hearing any neighbouring suites. We even got to bring our dog who was also treated like royalty, with her own treats, bed, and dishes left for her at check-in.

The top highlight, without a doubt, was the staff. Every single staff member from the front desk to housekeeping and all the folks catering the ongoing Christmas parties were extremely friendly, greeting us in the halls every time we passed. We also unfortunately witnessed an older gentleman take a fall in the lobby, but the attentiveness and immediate concern of all nearby staff made a very frightening and stressful situation as good as it could have been.

My only critique would be the interface between hotel guests and Christmas party guests. The Christmas parties looked very fun, as did the buffet style food and dessert trays, but we felt a bit awkward needing to walk past the buffets any time I came and went from my room, especially with our dog who couldn't help but pull us towards the buffets for any crumbs she could find. Could there be an alternate route to the Erickson wing that we weren't aware of? I also couldn't help but notice there seemed to be some very fun activities at the Christmas party - including a separate, quiet room for people who were painting - and that looked like a cool option to provide at the party!

Overall we were so happy to stay here, and the staff made the experience especially memorable. We look forward to staying here again!

it is a very elegant hotel with harbour view and lots of nice art collections. Nice staff and easy to walk to everywhere.
