It is a pleasant hotel to stay at, rooms are very nice. However, they are refurbishing the hotel and it would have been fair for ALL the hotel platforms to mention this. Not outrageously noisy, just when we were having their buffet the next morning. We could here a drill. Nothing at night though. Room had a large balcony. TV's not smart TV's so no streaming possible. It reminded me why I don't watch cable TV. Lol. Comfy bed, nicely appointed bathroom. Front desk lady was very pleasant. I'm sure it will be Excellent once they've refurbished. Parking available right at hotel for $20 per night. Security cameras are watching parking lot. Near legislature building and is pretty when it lights up at night. Within walking distance of a lot of attractions. Oh yes, the room had a pod type coffee maker, a bigger fridge than mini bar fridge and a microwave.

The receptionist is very welcoming. Though the building is quite old, the room looks newly renovated. I love how the bed and the linen feels so fresh and clean. The location is great, being walking distance to everything. There’s available parking which is well lit and safe. Breakfast area is clean and lots of choices available. Will definitely come back and will recommend to friends and family.

Stayed at the embassy this past weekend and was not impressed.

Despite having filtered on my search engine for free parking, when I arrived I was told that it was paid parking. The parking lot is laid out mainly for small vehicles. Luckily, I had rented a compact sedan. Saw a few people in suvs having to Austin Powers their way out of stalls.

I had booked a king sized bed. At most the bed I received was a double, maybe a hotel queen... if I'm being generous.

There was no lock on the bathroom door, nor was there any kind of chain or extra deadlock on the main door. Traveling alone as a woman, not having the extra security made me anxious. There was a adjoining room door as well. The door didn't look like one of those double doors that you can lock from each side. It may have been but it didn't look like that type of door which again traveling solo made me slightly nervous.

In the bathroom, there were numerous fruit flies coming out of the bathroom sink. I mentioned the bed size and the fruit flies to the front desk and was met with a blank stare.

The breakfast was excellent. The dining area equally excellent. The breakfast area staff were extremely helpful and kind. They ensured everything was filled and the area clean. That staff is the only reason I rated the service a 3-star.

The beds in this hotel have much to be desired you could probably sleep on the floor and get as good of a sleep as you did in the bed. The buffet breakfast on the other hand was outstanding as well as the staff who took care of the breakfast. They made sure every day at the hockey tournament individuals had enough food and we never ran out thank you so much for that. However because of the beds being so hard and uncomfortable I can't say we'll be back. Location was great as there was food and entertainment within walking distance. Don't forget to try monster burger which is a block from the hotel it was to die for.

Booked and pre-paid through Trip.com Would have given 4 stars for service but check-in clerk attempted to charge me again for the room at a higher rate then blamed another staff member for not doing their job correctly when I objected to the charge and showed my confirmation. When I said I would park my vehicle elsewhere rather than pay for parking she said my vehicle would be towed if it was parked at the hotel. She was rude and abrupt and had me questioning my choice to stay there. The check-out clerk however was very polite and friendly

This hotel offers the supreme location, just 5 minutes walking to Parliament Building. The front desk is available 24/7 and be ready to help when guests need. Old-fashioned construction but keep in well maintained. Embassy Inn is friendly-budget with travelers.

The location is fantastic! The room was very clean. For breakfast, besides a selection of bread and muffins, it was fun to make waffles! 😆

Location was great, value was great, staff were incredible! The front desk staff were so helpful leading up to and during our stay. The hotel is being renovated but it wasn’t disruptive at all. The beds could have been more comfortable and the sheets were quite scratchy. Overall I felt it was a great value for the price and would stay again!

Excellent place to stay - so close to the inner harbour and places to eat. Breakfast was a spectacular assortment of food options - eggs, ham, fruit, self-made waffles, fresh coffee, and many many other options. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable - the bed was just right! The staff were friendly and helpful - service was quick and efficient! Elevator was easily accessible and parking was near the entrance. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely spot with character, fantastic tea and comforting food. Their earl grey is excellent. They also have gluten free bread and English muffins, which was a nice surprise. I highly recommend this as an authentic alternative to the downtown tourist traps.

My family had breakfast here while in town for the weekend a few weeks ago. We were a little concerned because there was only one other table occupied, but decided to give it a try. The service was great, prompt and friendly and our food was also good. Nothing fancy, but the eggs were cooked perfectly (everyone ordered a different style), we tried both types of scones, raisin and cheese, and they were delicious! Would definitely go back.

The breakfast plate was nothing noteworthy other than the sausages (two) which they called bangers were rock hard. Even the knife could not cut through the hardened shell and the sausage meat was tough as leather, clearly freezer burn had got the better of these bangers that should never have been served to paying customers.

What a wonderful experience!! The staff was so friendly, went out of their way to help my busy 3 year old enjoy his time too. Food was amazing. Just fabulous!!

Wow, I have never had a worse steak or even more awful lobster. And isn't the butter suppose to be heated??? Does not matter all food was cold and lobster taste like plastic, steak had no flavour and carrots came from a bag! Worst meal ever! The waiter was great the food horrible!!!! I do not suggest anyone ever going there!!!

My girlfriend, son and I visited the harbor house for dinner this evening. Service was excellent, staff are all friendly and pleasant. Atmosphere was great. My son had the chicken fingers, which were amazing and as hand made as it gets. Girlfriend had the steak and lobster, which was a bit disappointing given the price, lobster and steak were bland and plain looking. Pallete could use some more flair. The seafood fettuccine that I ordered was absolutely amazing. For 100$, the three of us were fed, so the prices are higher. Well worth the venture.
