Novotel Toronto North York in Toronto

Went there for winterlicious with a dozen friends. Salad was good. Chicken was dry and tough. Apple crumble was suppose to be hot but it was cold. Had to pay tax on the gratuities.

20 dollars for some processed cheese and ritz crackers.

Poor restaurant. Managers reception first evening had me waiting a half hour between drinks. For breakfast, Hair in my oatmeal first morning. Second morning ordered bacon and eggs. Came cold, unbuttered toast and dry potatoes. Won't eat here again.

Awful experience. We sat down and never even received our food after waiting 30 minutes. Unacceptable! We ended up walking out hungry and sad, no one even noticed that we had walked out! Terrible service, will not go back or recommend.

Very rude service! I used to dine at this place with the pervious owners when I was younger but now the service can’t compare. I am NOT a picky eater and I know people have bad days, however, eating here a handful of times over the past year, I can honestly say I that they deserve ONLY one star. Food is terrible, EXPENSIVE FOR SUCH A SMALL PORTION, and the cutlery is dirty. I’ve ate at many Michelin star restaurants so portion is not the issue but the quality feels frozen. Never again.

The grilled makerel was good but the amount the rice was ridiculously tiny for its price. The fish egg bowl was very small, no egg, no interesting sides, although the stone rice was nice... The customer service was not bad.

If you have a choice, don't eat at this place. I walked in and was seated, and went through the menu then I waited for almost 10 minutes for someone to take my order despite the fact that I waved a couple times. There are only 2 waiters in such a big location. Then I waited for 25 minutes for food, without my salad and soup, or my tea. Once the food arrived I noticed the rice is not hot at all, only a single feel of warmth. I ordered the bulgogi soup, the beef tastes old, and too salty, needless to say the amount of glass noodles provided in the soup is way more than the beef pieces. While I'm eating the light was suddenly dim, everyone was confuse and I overheard people saying they can't read the menu clearly. Then when I'm done I was directed to the cashier for the credit card machine, but I stood there for 5 minutes since there is only one cashier there and she's too busy serving the delivery people. But yea I get to eat there and wasn't noisy there, just that the service is minimal and the wait is way too long. And there were multiple tables surrounding that were not being cleaned up, so have fun.

First online food review ever in my life. Felt compelled to do one to warn people about this place. Walked in for take out for chicken donburi that cost $12 plus tax. Worst I've ever had, cheapest quality ingredients and NO egg in it, even though it's advertised as an omelette on rice. Veggies mostly cabbage. Tasted like it was microwaved. On top of that, hostess who took my order was very rude and gave me the impression that she didn't want my business. Unbelievable experience! TRUST ME, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Had half a mind to go back and complain in person, but figured a negative online review might impact them more ;)

Came here to watch the raptors game only to be sadly disappointed. The whole time they were playing Christmas music which was so annoying and they couldn't even put the raptors game on because foot ball was playing and we had to wait for it to be done. Service was OK. Wouldn't come back to this location

I went there for dinner with a friend. My friend ordered pasta,which was good. Not luck with me. I have ordered Caesar salad which came with extra chicken, and I didn't order that. I didn't say anything about that because everyone knows better not to send food back to the kitchen. In addition waitress dropped greasy fork on my jacket , which left the stain on it. Later on she knocked a glass of water on my pants .Thanks God it wasn't full. Do I want to go back to that place ? Definitely not. Food was fine. So not much restaurant's fault.
