Hotel Ocho in Toronto

We recently had our wedding at Hotel Ocho in September and had a fantastic experience from start to finish! The venue itself is beautiful and has such a fun city vibe right in the heart of downtown Toronto. The two-floor layout worked perfectly for our day (the ceremony downstairs, dinner upstairs, and dancing back downstairs) and we found it was the perfect space for our guest count of 72 people. We also loved having access to the outdoor patio for cocktail hour, which was such a bonus with the nice weather.

The team was incredibly accommodating, especially with many of our guests having allergies and dietary restrictions. Everything was handled seamlessly and we never had any issues. A special shout-out to our coordinator, Rish, who was truly amazing. She answered our millions of questions and made us feel supported every step of the way (we miss stopping by the venue with our dog, Murphy, to say hi and chat!).

We’re so happy we chose Hotel Ocho for our wedding and would recommend it to couples looking for a charming, intimate downtown venue with great vibes and a fantastic team!

Great hotel to stay in great Spadina area.

Great spot with very tidy and clean rooms and also complimentary coffee in the morning!

Hotel Ocho Toronto is an absolute gem. Stylish, cozy, and full of character, it perfectly blends modern comfort with historic charm. The rooms are beautifully designed, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the location makes exploring the city effortless. A truly delightful stay from start to finish.

Room was clean. Staff were all super helpful and friendly. Location was amazing- lots of good food options nearby.

Only issue was the AC / heat was super loud! In the middle of the night the fan would turn on and wake me up! And of course there was no way to turn the fan off without shutting the heat off (which isn’t good when it’s -20°C).


Bring earplugs.

The room was spotless, big room, spacious and comfortable bed. The restaurant downstatirs is delicious and great staff. Will definitely be back here again!

This is my go-to hotel when in Toronto: cool, retro hotel with super clean and comfy rooms. Staff are great as is the food

Really affordable room on the edge of the Chinatown district. Room is decent in size, simple but stylish, bed and linens above average, very nice bath, extremely professional and courteous staff.

Generally, a good hotel option if you need a place to sleep or stay overnight. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was excellent compared to many budget hotels around. Very friendly staff.

No-frills, but in a good way.
