The Shangri-La Toronto is an amazing hotel. We spent Christmas there and it was just super lovely. Every interaction with staff was 5* - every.single.time. Rooms were clean and spacious. Gorgeous bathrooms - the spa looked amazing (we didnt have the chance to book anything) and the pool area was lovely. I would have appreciated a “child free” time in the pool - but it was Christmas after all - so everyone was at the hotel for a lovely time. The only “ding” I’m giving the rooms is for the pillows. Not great pillows. I did call to request some additional pillows from the pillow menu - but only 1 arrived - the others were all being used. (So i think that may be worth looking at). Food was excellent at Bosk. And the cocktails were amazing. We did not have Tea in the lobby - but it looked lovely. Next time we are in Toronto - I will definitely book it. Great stay. Great staff - and an amazing time. Thank you!

What a truly Wonderful experience I had at the Shangri-La Toronto. From the moment you step in, you are treated like royalty, the service is out of this world. The rooms are so beautifully designed with High-tech equipment, making it a seamless and flawless experience every moment. The dining is out of this world, and the in room dining was truly magnificent. The staff make personal relationships with their guests and truly make the entire experience memorable. I already booked my next stay! A special thank you to Dominieco from front desk, Elizabeth the leader of housekeeping, and Anjelica from the health club!
20/10 experience! Highly highly recommend!

Very nice luxury hotel. From the moment you arrive at the valet parking, to the front door staff to the check in desk you will be impressed.

Check in is simple and you are off to your room.

The gym and pool on floor 5 are amazing.

This hotel is kid friendly and the staff know how to make their stay just as pleasant as the adults.

I would stay here again

The Shangri-La Toronto is a truly beautiful hotel, but what sets it apart is the exceptional service. Every single person we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. It never felt forced — just thoughtful, professional, and kind. All of our requests were handled promptly and with ease.

The pool and hot tub facilities are stunning and feel like a true retreat in the city. The option to reserve a cabana ahead of time is a great touch and ensures a relaxed, stress-free experience.

The lobby lounge was absolutely delightful, with live music creating a perfect atmosphere. The food was outstanding — especially the sliders, which were genuinely some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything we tried was delicious and beautifully presented.

From start to finish, the Shangri-La delivered a luxury experience that felt personal and welcoming. We can’t wait to return.

This was my first time staying at the Shangri-La Toronto and I was genuinely impressed. I frequent many 5-star hotels in the city, and this may be my new favourite. The service was exceptional, from seamless room service to a beautiful spa experience, everything felt elevated and thoughtfully executed. The room service food was also outstanding; I enjoyed it so much that I chose in-room dining every night instead of visiting nearby restaurants.

One employee who truly stood out was Andre at reception. He went above and beyond multiple times to accommodate some of my unique requests, ensuring my stay remained completely seamless and luxurious. His professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness made a noticeable impact.

I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

$3 drinks... what more could you want. Long lines if you get there after 8pm on Wednesday or Friday but otherwise a nice spot to go. Great area upstairs during the summer as well.

Like the star rated, its an okay place. Went on a saturday night around 10pm and it was packed. It more of a dining than an actual club for me. Upstairs was a small disco section that was dead as a door knob. Not sure if its because of the winter but nothing exciting was happening for me.

I'm in my mid 20s so this is kind of not my age group. All of my older single friends (age 30-40) love this place. I had fun but again not for the early-mid 20s age group. Good music

Only served bottled beer. At first I found it odd but once the night got rolling I could understand why. The bartender downstairs was not the greatest but the bartender upstairs made it known he appreciated the tip I left. Service was prompt and polite. Shot a few games of pool and decided it was time to hit the club people right behind us politely asked if they could use our table. It was originally missing a ball but that was fixed quickly. Had lots of fun.

Worst service I have ever had at any Subway. I asked for turkey and ham, then watched her start the wrong sandwich. I had to correct her a couple times. Sad. I expected better here. The last time I corrected her I almost left. I should have. This picture is a complete sandwich and has nearly twice the amount of veggies on it than it started with. I started w/ 1 tomato slice, 2 cuc slices, maybe a total of 8 olive slices, no spinach, no peppers, etc! I asked for mustard and a little mayo. I repeated it when I saw a ton of mayo and no mustard. She started again and I never did get the mustard. Never again!

I happened upon this place one evening for dinner, and because I was hungry and tired of looking for a place to eat, I thought I would give it a try. I ordered the Greek salad and salmon. The Greek salad was mostly lettuce covered with grated cheese and dressing with 2 olives, 2 cherry tomatoes and a few small chunks of cucumber. The cheese, dressing and 2 olives were tasty, however, I also received a lettuce stem which was very unappealing. The salmon plate was absolutely horrible. The salmon was so overcooked there were bits of it that were actually inedible. Bland minute rice, bland steamed chunky vegetables, a few wedges of potato that tasted like lemon and bland overcooked salmon for $29. Like I said, I was hungry and tired after travelling to Toronto. I choked back that plate of "food" and left in disbelief that this place averages 3.8 stars. My server was lovely which is why I'm rating 2 stars - which should be the average Google rating. Never eat here!

Go here if you are between 40 and 70+, and want to spend some pension money. Dont expect great service. Food is soft and bland at times, salty at times but it also comes a mismatch of presumably Greek flavors even tho none of the "chefs" are Greek. If they are they must be tired of cooking. Prices are high so you feel you had a good meal. Wine selection ok.

Great food and service. Went there at lunch and we had a reservation so got seated inordinately. Orders were all taken and were correct upon serving. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to get some Greek food. Prices were in line with any restaurant downtown.
