Shangri-La Shenzhen Hotel in Shenzhen

The service throughout my stay was thoughtful and thorough, truly living up to a five-star standard. The front desk efficiently handled my check-in with politeness, and the concierge proactively offered to help with my luggage. Room service was prompt and meticulous. The turndown service even included a special bookmark, which really showed attention to detail. The staff were responsive and enthusiastic, making me feel very welcome. As a hotel that's been open for over thirty years, the facilities do show their age a bit. The bathroom design felt dated, and some room types didn't have a separate shower and bath, meaning I had to shower in the tub, which wasn't the most efficient use of space. The soundproofing was decent; I occasionally heard minor noises from the hallway, but it didn't disrupt my rest overall.

Service: The service was excellent. The cleaning staff remembered the status of each room, and the front desk staff were very friendly. They even contacted me promptly after check-out when I left something behind.

Facilities: It's an older hotel, so some of the facilities are a bit dated, but it still maintains its elegance. All the essential amenities are available.

Environment: It's just a five-minute walk to the border crossing, train station, and subway entrance. There are also many shopping areas nearby, and it's only a 10-minute bike ride to renew your travel permit.

The location is excellent, the decor is elegant, and it's clean and tidy. It's very convenient, the service is warm and welcoming, and the stay was very pleasant. Highly recommended. The buffet breakfast also offers a wide and delicious selection [thumbs up].

I had a very good time here thanks to Concierge Stephen and Front Desk Team Ives and Witter. It was a very rough day and I lost my identity card and everything. As such I try to approach the FD to see if they could let me check in with my remaining identity proof and Ives gave me very useful suggestions and I was able to check in after reporting to the police. Stephen was very sweet he offered me his own cell phone to contact the police and patiently hearing my concerns and offering me snacks. He did everything he could to help and I appreciate that. Witter warmly greeted me upon check in and helped upgraded my room which also very sweet. I would definitely recommend my friends and family and I look forward to returning.

This hotel is becoming a second home in Shenzhen!
It was not my first stay at the Shangri-La Luohu, and it will not be the last. I missed the pulse and liveliness of the marketplace at Shenzhen port, and the Shangri-La is perfectly located for an incredible stay.

It’s a friendly place to stay with the warmest of welcomes.
The Shangri-La reception team shared helpful suggestions on where to go and how to get there, suggestions that made a difference. The room standard has been consistent. The city view room was bright, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The amenities are fantastic with a well-kept sauna and jacuzzi.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to the team who were a pleasure to chat with and get to know. I hope the weekend brings you a lovely moment in your diverse neighbourhood :)

The location is very good, but the service is lacking. For example, in the room, you can't find any information about where the gym, swimming pool (which floor it's on), kids' room, etc., are located. Also, there’s no comb, so you have to call every time, and there’s no tissue paper.

This time, I chose the Shangri-La Shenzhen with my wife, children, and my mother who came from Australia to stay with us, and the overall experience was very satisfying. Many years ago, I frequently stayed at Shangri-La hotels in different countries for work, so I'm very familiar with the brand. I'd always hoped to share this wonderful experience with my family one day, and now that dream has finally come true.

The hotel staff—from the greeters at the entrance, the front desk, lobby security, cleaning team, to the restaurant servers—were all incredibly dedicated, polite, and attentive, making us feel completely at home. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kids had a blast in the pool. It would be even more perfect if they could add a heated pool, as the outdoor weather is still a bit chilly.

The only minor suggestion is that the quality of the restaurant's buffet could be improved. It would be even better if it could reach the five-star standard of Shangri-La buffets in other countries.

Overall, we are very grateful to all the staff at Shangri-La Shenzhen for making this family trip so warm and memorable with their professionalism and passion.

Muay try the dim sum at this hotel which is super nice

Location was excellent, only a min walk to MTR train station. 

Near by have fast food restaurant. 

Hotel was a bit old fashion, but in Shenzhen Lu Wu , it’s acceptable. 

It’s rare , I paid in full at trip. Com and hotel charge me again + guarantee CNY $500 .   


While check out they didn’t pay back the cny$ 500  to me
