I was really impressed by the attention to detail! Our butler, Jinxi, contacted us in advance, sending the hotel's address and facility information. They also checked in on us, asking if the room temperature was comfortable and sending weather reminders – so thoughtful! The room had great natural light, and I absolutely loved the room with the huge balcony; the view from it was incredible. The hotel environment was quiet and beautiful. The hot springs were super relaxing, and all the facilities and equipment were excellent. I'm very satisfied, and overall, my stay was incredibly relaxing and pleasant.

This trip to Taihu Lake was a fantastic experience. The 'Jinxi Butler' provided attentive one-on-one service throughout, answering all our questions with a gentle and thoughtful demeanor. The room was incredibly comfortable, and the bright, sunny balcony was perfect for soaking up the sun on a beautiful day. The hotel grounds were picturesque with flowers in full bloom. We also enjoyed a relaxing soak at Wangyan Hot Springs, which was a great way to unwind. It's truly ideal for family trips or just getting away from it all.

Overall, a very satisfying stay. The Hualuxe exclusive butler, Jinxi, was absolutely amazing (yyds)! She was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and the service was impeccable. The bedding was so soft and comfortable. The outdoor balcony had great sunlight and offered a beautiful view of Suzhou Bay. The environment was clean and pretty, truly curing all worries. My only minor gripes were with the room facilities and design; I wasn't a huge fan of the room's design this time, especially the bathtub. However, I was generally happy, and the breakfast was the best part!

My experience at the HUALUXE Suzhou Bay Hot Spring Resort was absolutely perfect! As an IHG property, the quality is consistently excellent. The new Chinese-style design is elegant and grand, with the lobby and public areas showcasing beautiful Oriental aesthetics throughout. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. Opening the window revealed stunning views of Taihu Lake – truly breathtaking. Direct access to Wangyan Hot Spring is a huge plus; there are many pools, and the environment is serene. Soaking in the hot springs at sunset was incredibly therapeutic. The service was warm and attentive, with special thanks to Front Desk Manager Banxia for her thoughtful and meticulous care. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and the dining overall was great. Parking is convenient. This is my top choice for a relaxing getaway, highly recommended!

I had high hopes for this staycation, choosing this hotel among many hot spring hotels in Jiangsu and Zhejiang. I'd had good experiences at other Hualuxe properties before, and being an IHG hotel, I expected a certain standard. However, after staying one night, I found there were quite a few flaws.

First, the room: We booked a suite with a large balcony and a hot spring tub, which was lovely. Up until the evening, everything seemed perfect. That's when we asked housekeeping to make up the sofa bed for our child to sleep on, and something unbelievable happened. I don't think this is an unreasonable request (I've made the same request at various hotels of different tiers and brands everywhere, and housekeeping staff have always fulfilled it quickly and efficiently). But the housekeeping staff at Hualuxe Suzhou Bay completely shocked me. The young man from housekeeping looked at me like I was an alien and said, 'Almost no guests here make this kind of request. We don't have any extra bedding.' His challenging eyebrow raise and stare genuinely left me feeling confused and angry. Subsequent communication can best be described as talking to a brick wall.

I really can't understand why a chain hotel would have staff with such an attitude and approach to guest service. It felt a bit excessive.

Of course, the duty housekeeping manager and front desk manager quickly sent someone else to make up the bed, which solved the problem. However, they then tried to bribe me with a kite and a bubble machine (which I didn't accept) to write a high-rating review. I can only say that I cannot accept your kind gesture, and I will honestly share my true feelings about your guest service, staff training, and management's ability to employ the right people. I am disappointed with this stay. Such a frustrating experience truly leaves a lasting negative impression.

A delightful surprise! I found this hotel because I was planning to visit the Wangyan Hot Springs. We booked a twin room with a private hot tub on the balcony, and it was huge with super fast water filling. The mattress was just right, not too soft, not too hard. Breakfast was good, except for the pastries. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the hot springs and you can also rent electric scooters. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway. The front desk and room service were both excellent. Highly recommend!

Great for a relaxing weekend getaway! The hotel's surroundings are beautiful. A special shoutout to our butler, Jinxi – their service was amazing! They shared a lot of helpful information and checked in with us during our stay to see how we were doing. The room's overall design is simple yet stylish. Overall, it was a good experience, and they even upgraded our room for free!

This is my second stay at Hualuxe. The private hot spring is quite nice, and the kids' pool and playground facilities are also excellent. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's facilities aren't super new.

The environment was clean and tidy. I especially want to commend an employee named Jinxi. Her service was truly outstanding! She was enthusiastic and patient, adding me on WeChat beforehand to explain important details and introduce nearby facilities, which made me feel incredibly welcome. During my stay, I had a small request, and she responded immediately and resolved it perfectly. She was professional, attentive, and paid great attention to every detail.
