The location is fantastic! It's within walking distance to Lingering Garden and MixC. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful in answering questions. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Five-star strong recommendation! The Holiday Inn Express Suzhou Liuyuan Shantang Street is simply amazing!

As expected from an InterContinental Hotels Group property, the quality is superb! The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. You can walk to Shantang Street and Lingering Garden within 10 minutes, and it's only a 4-minute walk from Shilu Station on Metro Line 2, making it convenient to reach attractions like the Humble Administrator's Garden and Tiger Hill. The newly renovated rooms are clean and spacious, offering an excellent sleep experience, and the multi-functional charging ports are particularly practical. The facilities are comprehensive, with a complimentary fitness corner and self-service laundry room readily available. The Chinese and Western buffet breakfast offers a rich variety, and the auntie at the noodle station is professional, kind, and enthusiastic, which is a huge plus! Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were all smiling, professional, and welcoming throughout. This hotel is perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in Suzhou!

The hotel's location is excellent, and there's a new shopping mall, MixC, next door, which makes it quite busy. The breakfast was good, and the staff, especially Susan and Yifan, were wonderful. They even gave us complimentary ID card holders.

The hotel is very close to Shantang Street. You can walk to Lingering Garden and Xiyuan Garden. It's right next to Metro Line 2 and MixC World. The breakfast was also very rich. The only drawback was that the bathroom was a bit small, especially after opening the door.

This is my second time in Suzhou, and I stayed at this hotel both times. It's super convenient for getting everywhere, and the surrounding area is also nice. It's an easy walk to Lingering Garden and Xiyuan Temple. Although it's a bit cold this season, at least it's been sunny lately, which is great. I didn't have breakfast here during my first stay, but I've eaten it at the hotel the past two days. I saw reviews saying breakfast was good, but honestly, there aren't that many options. I'd suggest putting a sign at the noodle station to inform guests of their choices. Also, the placement of the steamed buns, corn, and sweet potatoes isn't very convenient for guests to grab. I saw the hotel opened in '25, but the room hardware isn't particularly well-maintained; it doesn't look new. The main issue is that the bathroom in the room is really, really small – it's hard to even turn around! However, I'm very grateful to the front desk for upgrading my room type. If I come back again, I'll definitely choose a room with more space. On other fronts, the delivery service and cleaning efficiency are both high, and the aunties are all very enthusiastic!

The hotel service was excellent; they upgraded our room for free and offered welcome drinks. The room was quite spacious, and the shower had strong, hot water. It stayed warm even without the air conditioning. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Lingering Garden and about 20 minutes from Xiyuan Temple. Strolling around Shantang Street at night was very pleasant. It's definitely worth staying here multiple times. A special shout-out to Winnie and Susan at the front desk for being so gentle, friendly, and polite. If you're tired and don't want to go out, the robots deliver food directly to your room—a true lifesaver for lazy people. The hotel breakfast also offers a good variety.
