The room had a nice view overlooking the pond below, and the room was very clean! It wasn't overly fancy and the bed was pretty firm, but it worked great for a short stay, and the staff were very helpful and kind!

This is my second time staying at this hotel with friends visiting Suzhou.

**Environment:** The ambiance is truly exceptional. The hotel boasts its own beautiful miniature garden, encompassing all the classic elements of a Suzhou garden – pavilions, quaint bridges, and elegant covered walkways. The four-story hotel offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, and access to and from the property is very convenient.

We opted for a family suite, which features two single beds and a super king-sized bed, separated by a sliding door. This setup is perfectly suited for 3-4 friends traveling together or for a family getaway.

**Service:** The service here is truly outstanding. During this stay, I accidentally lost an important bracelet while taking photos in the hotel's garden. The hotel manager and the front desk staff meticulously reviewed CCTV footage with us, searching for any clues. Even though there wasn't a direct camera at the exact spot where it was lost, they went above and beyond, checking various other camera angles and carefully identifying everyone who passed through the area. The two security guards at the entrance were also incredibly enthusiastic and cooperative, helping us analyze the footage frame by frame. They eventually located the person who found my bracelet – absolutely dependable! The hotel's robots for delivering takeout are also impressively quick.

My experience with this well-established hotel has been truly excellent. It provides a wonderfully warm and reassuring feeling, and we had a very comfortable stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Suzhou.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. It's very close to Sanxiang Metro Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Qilishantang is easily accessible by both metro and bus. A taxi to the Humble Administrator's Garden was only around ten yuan, and after visiting, Pingjiang Road Pedestrian Street is just a stone's throw away, perfect for a quick detour.

Getting back to the hotel, while the facilities aren't brand new, the room was spacious. The air conditioning system circulates fresh air, and the shower was excellent.

The standout feature is its beautiful garden-style design, which feels very upscale. The gorgeous scenery made for a truly relaxing and delightful experience – it was fantastic! My only minor gripe was that I had booked a room with a window, hoping to open it for some fresh air, but the window screen was broken, allowing mosquitoes in. I hope they can fix this. Despite this, I would still highly recommend it overall.

Conveniently close to the metro station. There is also a Starbucks, KFC, and Familymart next to the station. Interior decor was absolutely stunning. You basically don't need to go to crowded tourist destinations to take pictures anymore. There is free water and tea refreshments in the lobby.

I recently stayed at Suzhou Overseas Chinese Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The room had a strong cigarette odor that lingered, posing a serious issue for my family member with asthma, who nearly had an exacerbation.

Beyond the air quality, the room's condition was subpar. The bathtub was rusted, the ceiling bore water leak stains, and the furniture was not only old but visibly dirty. The absence of a refrigerator, despite there being a cabinet meant for one, was also inconvenient. Most concerning, however, was the electrical socket that had fallen out, posing a serious risk of electric shock—a major safety hazard that should not be overlooked.

For a hotel of this standard, I expected much better upkeep. I sincerely hope management addresses these issues to ensure a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable stay for future guests.

Very pleasant stay, the room was big and comfortable. Only issue with the toilet which is only separated by a 3/4 height door instead of full ceiling partition.
