As the first one in the Asia-Pacific region, you can tell the hotel team is still getting into the swing of things. If you're looking for a smoother experience, I'd suggest coming back in about six months.

The welcome drink at check-in was a pleasant surprise! The combination of salty soda and Americano was surprisingly harmonious. As a welcome drink, it really caught my attention! There was none of the bitterness of soda water, and the sweet and salty taste of the salty soda perfectly balanced the coffee's bitterness. The subtle aroma was captivating. I haven't had time to recreate this recipe at home yet...

Hyatt's food, as always, was consistently excellent. Thanks to my friend for treating me and saving my 'overworked' stomach, I had a super fun Christmas holiday.

The overall atmosphere at Tongding on the 20th floor was pretty good, perfect for a casual get-together and drinks. The only minor drawback was that the drinks lacked a bit of complexity; it would be even better if they offered a richer selection!

The location is excellent, just 500-600 meters from the China Art Museum subway station. Expo Park is right across the street, which is perfect for running and cycling. The heated pool is fantastic; my child and I had a great time swimming. The staff, whether at the front desk, restaurant, or pool, were all very enthusiastic and made us feel very comfortable.

Had a fantastic experience! The view from the top floor was amazing, and the food was both beautiful and delicious. The poolside service downstairs was also excellent. It was my wife's birthday, and they upgraded our room and thoughtfully prepared a small cake and balloons. Their responses were super prompt – they even helped us with our luggage. A big thank you to our butlers Miya, Zoe, Smiling, and Jenny! We'll definitely be back!!

Smiling and Nancy, the attendants, were very attentive and made us feel right at home. The hotel is new and has an air purifier, so there's hardly any smell, though the air conditioning was a bit warm.

Newly opened just last month, the rooms are quite nice. It was very busy during our holiday stay. The breakfast is a semi-buffet and the quality is good. The only strange thing is that the guest room toilets aren't automatic and don't have bidets. I hope the owners can improve this.

Facilities: Being a new hotel is definitely a plus; the sound system and mini-bar all show a tasteful design. Although the room isn't huge, the full-length mirror design makes it feel spacious, bright, and high-ceilinged.

The pool, restaurant, and bar all boast excellent hardware and software.

My only complaint is the inconvenient parking. It's really hard to find a spot in the Expo Center basement, especially on holidays after noon. We had to circle around several times.

Cleanliness: Very good.

Environment: The surroundings are super convenient. It’s just a stone's throw from the riverside and the Mercedes-Benz Arena. Plus, direct access to the Expo Center from the first floor makes finding food really easy.

Service: Excellent. Nothing to complain about. I didn't have high expectations for the service because I thought a new hotel might not have everything perfectly ironed out, but it turned out to be far beyond my expectations.

P.S.: Having a drink at the rooftop bar while enjoying the night view is definitely worth it. We went a bit early, but the riverside view of the Huangpu River truly gets more beautiful as the night progresses.

The room's decor is really cool, and the details are well-thought-out. Breakfast was good, and it's super convenient being right next to Expo Park and Expo Axis.

Came to Mercedes-Benz Arena for a concert, and within 10 minutes of the show ending, I was already in my room with a face mask on. The location is absolutely fantastic! It's a brand-new hotel with floor-to-ceiling windows offering direct views of the Mercedes-Benz Arena and the Pudong 'Three-Piece Suit' (iconic skyscrapers). The staff were polite and enthusiastic. A special shout-out to Zoe and Miya for their thoughtful care, helping me resolve a little hiccup during my trip.

I booked the Tonsen for a concert at Mercedes-Benz Arena, so its location was perfect – just a 7-8 minute walk to the venue, right across the street. Plus, there's a shopping mall nearby, which was really convenient. The room layout was good, and they even provided the same brand of drinking water as the Four Seasons Beijing. The bed was huge, and the soundproofing was excellent. However, I requested turndown service when checking in, and the front desk even noted it, but it was never provided.
