Absolutely fantastic, a truly exemplary hotel. The hygiene was meticulously maintained, and the room's decor was comfortable and well-ventilated. The location is unique with expansive views, offering an unparalleled experience in downtown Shanghai. All the hotel's facilities were well-maintained and high quality. Every staff member I encountered during my stay was friendly and sophisticated. Highly recommend.

My stay at the Radisson Collection Xing Guo was very pleasant. The hotel staff were very kind, professional, and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty and versatile; I would especially mention the braised fish, which was a nice dish to start the day. The hotel is spread across different villas set within a garden, so you don't get the impression that you're in a metropolis. My room was in the main building, and both cleanliness and amenities were of a high standard.

Hidden gem in the bustling heart of Shanghai, Xinguo Hotel is a discreet yet luxurious garden oasis. Its historic villas and lush courtyards make every moment feel like a scene from a classic film. The service is meticulous, breakfast offers a rich variety, and the Western kitchen's à la carte options are absolutely delicious. My stay was an experience beyond expectations!

The photographer skillfully captured the ambiance, resulting in every shot being gentle and sophisticated. It’s truly the best choice for travel photography in Shanghai!

The super king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the mattress – I loved it. The hotel is housed in an old building with beautiful grounds, offering picturesque views everywhere you look, including several large lawns where you often stumble upon weddings. The dining hub is about a 20-minute walk away, and the popular Wukang Road, a trendy spot for photos, is less than 10 minutes from here. If you're a repeat visitor to Shanghai and are tired of staying by the Huangpu River, this place is a must-try – it has a very distinct 'Shanghai vibe'.

I booked this hotel late at night, and it seemed quite convenient for a city walk. It's one of those charming old villas, and there was even a wedding happening on the lawn when I arrived. It took asking two security guards to find the lobby. When I pulled over to check-in, the doorman's constant nagging to 'get closer, get closer' even though we were already quite close really got on my nerves – I even blurted out some Shanghainese! Once inside, the front desk staff were very friendly and said they'd upgraded me to a suite. However, they didn't include the executive benefits, which led to an awkward half-hour at the 15th-floor afternoon tea. On the bright side, the afternoon tea had a great variety and everything tasted delicious; they even packed up the leftovers for me. The suite itself was lovely, but it was missing one set of adult toiletries and there were no kids' toiletries provided. The freshly made wontons they offered daily were absolutely delicious.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of several popular city walk routes. The facilities and service are decent. During the May Day holiday, there were many weddings and high occupancy, which made parking and dining feel a bit chaotic.

This was my first time staying at Xingguo Hotel, and the experience was exceptional. I booked a Deluxe Lady Garden View Room, and the front desk staff kindly upgraded me to a Deluxe Suite 🌸. The room decor had a beautiful, romantic guava aesthetic. The Deluxe floor is exclusively for women, making it perfect for girlfriend getaways, mother-daughter trips, or business travel. Guests staying on this floor can enjoy afternoon tea at the Deluxe Lounge, along with two servings of authentic Shanghainese wontons with shepherd's purse and pork, and a refreshing mango pomelo sago drink. In the afternoon, my family and I took a lovely stroll around the hotel grounds. The lush green lawns and dense camphor trees, combined with the bright spring sunshine, put us in a wonderful mood! 😊 I'd love to stay here again next time I'm looking for a weekend city walk in downtown Shanghai!

This hotel was surprisingly good! I usually feel uncomfortable in high-rise hotels with sealed windows, so I was just looking for a city hotel where I could open the windows. I found this one, and upon arrival, discovered it had a great environment, including its own courtyard. It's located in a quiet area surrounded by villas, offering a peaceful retreat right in the city. The hotel reception was very welcoming and provided all the necessary information. And seriously, their big wontons are delicious! It's also very convenient for walking to many nearby places. It's a shame it rained these past two days, otherwise, a stroll or a bike ride would have been lovely. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai.

Facilities: Everything was spotless, well-arranged, and comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the housekeeping staff were very responsive to requests. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The hotel's environment was beautiful with lush greenery, flowers, and plants, offering excellent scenic views.

One night stay at Radisson Blu Plaza Xingguo Hotel. The French-style decor is lovely, and its proximity to Wukang Road, Yuyuan Road, and Huaihai Road makes it perfect for photo ops. Unfortunately, I was here for a quick business trip, so I didn't get to fully soak in the chill atmosphere. The garden boasts many protected ancient trees; I heard there's a 300-year-old 'King Camphor' tree, though I couldn't identify it. The dense camphor and Torreya trees lining the paths, along with the majestic King Pine and Five-needle Pine, adorned with cedar, soapberry, and magnolias, create a unique charm, especially with the continuous spring rain of Jiangnan. It's a shame the crabapple blossoms had already fallen. I did, however, encounter a cute tabby cat. The hotel service was good, but the main draw is definitely the environment. I was upgraded to an Executive Suite in the main building. Initially, I booked two nights, but due to a change in plans, the second night was canceled without issue. The Radisson Blu 'Sweet Dreams' bed, identical to those in New York, was very comfortable, and the internet connection was good. The water pressure was a bit low, though. Deliveries need to be brought to the entrance, and then the concierge assists in bringing them in.
