This hotel felt more like a complex; check-in was in one location, and the actual room was quite far away. I had to drag my luggage a long distance, even crossing a street, which was especially inconvenient since I checked in at night. The area downstairs was terrible, filled with BBQ vendors and food carts. The room itself wasn't great either. The window couldn't be opened, and even with it closed, there was noise from the central AC unit outside. The room wasn't very clean, and the bedding quality was poor. The most ridiculous thing was the light switch – you had to get out of bed and walk all the way to the switch by the door to turn it off. For a place that clearly pays for top search rankings, it should at least offer decent quality. I immediately booked another hotel nearby for the next day, and it was significantly better, even a bit cheaper. A truly awful experience.

The location is extremely convenient, with a shopping mall right next door and plenty of dining options. The hotel entrance is on the side, but one drawback is the many dividers at the front, making it difficult to pull luggage in; you have to lift it. The room itself is quite spacious and brightly lit. There's also an outlet mall about a kilometer away to explore. Being close to the high-speed rail station, it offers great overall convenience for travelers. The hotel promotes itself as a conference hotel, but it's a bit of a walk, which isn't ideal. A major inconvenience is the lack of front desk staff in the morning, requiring a five to ten minute wait for service.

The stay was a very bad experience, the room had a strong unpleasant smell that made me feel unwell.

I booked through Trip.com, and as soon as I entered the room, I noticed a distinct odor. I thought it was too late to change rooms, so I just put up with it for the night. As a result, I woke up with a very sore throat. I discussed it with the hotel the next day, but their attitude was mediocre, and they didn't offer any reasonable solution.

As a consumer, it's truly disappointing when a hotel can't even guarantee basic hygiene and safety. I've kept all relevant evidence and will pursue my rights through Trip.com customer service and 12315 (consumer hotline). I'd like to warn future guests to pay attention to the air quality in the rooms.

Big shout-out to Xiao Yin and Xiao Wang from the front desk! I accidentally left some personal belongings behind after checking out, and when I contacted the hotel, the staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me with getting them mailed back. The entire communication process was patient, thorough, and highly responsible – it really showed their genuine care in every detail. Such warm and thoughtful service is a rare find, and I'll definitely choose this place again for my next trip!

The front desk staff, Xiao Gao and Manager Guowei, provided excellent service. They even gave me a complimentary late check-out. Many thanks!

Breakfast was completely cleared by 9:30 AM without even asking guests if they were still eating. I saw some guests asking the staff for food, but they wouldn't give it. Check-in was very inefficient, and we had to wait in line for a long time.

The hotel is about two kilometers from Tianjin South Station, surrounded by a wealth of commercial facilities, including restaurants and shopping, plus two stores selling Tianjin Mahua. The lobby is spacious, and the rooms are quite large, making it perfectly suitable for accommodating those attending conferences or events here.

Good service and great location for business trip.

Honestly, just so confused as to why this place is called a 5-star. It is most certainly not 5- star. The room and the bathroom weren’t even squeaky clean. The bathroom had all these dirt marks along the shower and the toilet. The hotel is sold to have a pool, but the pool is actually a public pool that was just full of kids. It was also said that the breakfast is western. Western? I don’t understand what they’re referring to because the breakfast we had was very much Chinese. If I’m eating rice and chicken curry at breakfast that is not western. There wasn’t even any cereal, the most basic form of western breakfast. The whole place is just doing too much, there’s a convention room, some shops etc all at one place. The meal area looked like a high school canteen. There was absolutely nothing 5-star about this hotel. Honestly, if you are expecting 5-star, DO NOT go to this hotel. The only good this is the staff were nice.
