Hotel New Otani Chang Fu Gong in Beijing

The hotel is clean, the service is great, and the staff are very professional. It's a very nice five-star hotel, perfect for business trips or family vacations. The hygiene is well-maintained, and the location is convenient.

The room was very clean. Although it's an older five-star hotel, all the facilities are well-maintained. Throughout my stay, I felt the service was incredibly attentive and comfortable, without feeling out of place.

The Sunlight Gym offers swimming and fitness. Every day after we came back from exploring, my child would go to the pool for a while, and all the staff there were very nice.

Eating around here was incredibly convenient; there was every kind of food imaginable. We pretty much had breakfast at Zijin Manor every day for a week.

The hotel service was excellent. They proactively helped with our luggage, and the room cleaning was meticulous and thoughtful, showing high-standard service in every detail. Coming back to the hotel after a day out felt incredibly reassuring and comfortable. I will definitely choose to stay at Changfugong again in the future.

This hotel made my May Day holiday trip to Maydayland and the Bird's Nest absolutely fantastic. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I could tell the ambiance was great.

The room had an excellent view, and it was incredibly clean. There wasn't a speck of dust on the windows, the phone, or anywhere else, which shows how meticulously the cleaning staff worked. I don't want to disparage other hotels, but many places often have a bit of dust, and this hotel had none.

Considering all hotels significantly raised their prices for the May Day holiday, this place offered incredible value for money.

The service attitude was also exceptional. The staff replenished the bottled water daily, and everything was replaced promptly. They even left local Beijing snacks on the bedside table.

One evening, my food delivery was accidentally taken by another guest, and they helped me track it down and resolve the issue very efficiently.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I will definitely choose this hotel first whenever I visit Beijing again.

The room isn't huge, and it's not a brand-new hotel, but the facilities and service are excellent. Let's start with the facilities:
1. The bedside lamps aren't directly overhead; they're adjustable, so you won't disturb anyone sleeping next to you.
2. The toilet is a Toto Washlet, and the flush is incredibly quiet. Many hotels now have smart toilets, but their flushes can be deafening, waking up everyone in the room in the middle of the night. This hotel's smart toilet is the quietest I've ever encountered, which is a huge plus.
3. The curtains are electric blackout blinds that move up and down, which I prefer because they don't collect dust easily.
4. The breakfast selection is quite extensive and very good.
5. The small garden isn't large, but it features rockeries, a waterfall, flowers, and several different types of trees, including hawthorn, apple, and even a Japanese Puxian cherry.

Now, about the service:
1. There's an AI photo booth and a claw machine on the first floor, both free. The staff are incredibly enthusiastic. If a child can't grab a doll, they'll even open the machine to adjust the doll's position, making it easier for the child to win. The photo booth generates AI photos based on your shots and chosen backgrounds, printing them out as a fridge magnet – very cool!
2. When my child was taking a bottle of mineral water to go out, a staff member on the first floor noticed and proactively came over to attach a portable clip to the bottle so it could be hung.

We stayed here for two days, and it felt more and more comfortable with each passing night. The room was also very quiet. Additionally, right next to the hotel is an ancient observatory, which was once the Royal Observatory. It's well worth a visit, with volunteer guides who explain China's astronomical history beautifully. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic hotel, very upscale and classy, truly living up to its five-star rating. It's incredibly close to attractions like Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing, making its location absolutely excellent. The service staff were attentive and even gave our child a toy upon check-in, which made them not want to leave! There's also a Zigongyuan restaurant nearby, making dining very convenient. Highly recommended!

Every time I visit Beijing, I stay at this hotel. The experience is always fantastic, the environment is great, and the room service and hygiene are excellent. I highly recommend this place. It's also very convenient to the subway and close to Tiananmen Square, making it easy to get around.

This was my first trip to Beijing, and I stayed for four consecutive nights during the May Day holiday. An established five-star hotel always brings more peace of mind, and the price fluctuations were within a normal range. First off, both the exterior and facilities of the hotel were much newer than I expected, very well-maintained. The room size was ample, and the cleanliness was meticulous. All my service requests were met; they helped with luggage upon arrival and departure, and even noticed that the co-pilot seat was cramped and proactively adjusted it for me, which was a very thoughtful touch. Plus, there was an abundance of Nongfu Spring water. Secondly, the location on the Second Ring Road is incredibly convenient, with a subway station right across the street. There are restaurants like Ziguan Garden and hotpot places nearby, as well as a Lawson convenience store, making it easy to get anywhere. The Line 2 subway provides great connectivity. Finally, I have to mention the breakfast buffet – the variety was extensive, featuring Western, Chinese, and Japanese options. This might be due to a high proportion of Japanese and other international guests. If I get the chance to visit Beijing again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

The location is quite good, about 600 meters from Exit B of Jianguomen Subway Station. However, be aware that this exit doesn't have an escalator or elevator going down, so if you have large luggage, you might want to avoid it.

The hotel service is very professional and thoughtful. Of course, it's rare for five-star hotels these days to help guests with their luggage. The Chang Fu Gong still offers turn-down service, which is a nice touch.

The hotel has a small garden. Although not large, it's well-designed, and you can take a stroll there, or enjoy the view from a window seat during breakfast. The breakfast selection is quite comprehensive and the food is good, but it would be even better if there were some daily variations. I stayed for three consecutive days, and the menu was pretty much the same.

The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but they are very well-maintained and convenient to use. The toilets have been upgraded with washlets, which is a plus. The hygiene is excellent.
