Atour Hotel Pinghai Road West Lake Hangzhou in Hangzhou

I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel unless you absolutely have no choice . The only plus point is the location which is along a busy street but again there is another Atour that looks better and also convenient located too. The front desk team is very unprofessional looking and also lack friendliness in attending to customers . They are more interested in talking and bantering with one another rather than checking in customer professionally. They gave me a room which was so ridiculously small and had mould on the walls . When I when down I had to show them the room type I had booked and they said the room is small because there is a balcony.I rejected the room and had to carry my luggage back and forth . In the morning there is one front desk staff that would always come up to the breakfast room and she would start packing food in plastic bags (taking food from the breakfast table for guests) I guess for her own consumption . Very poor image . The security of the public spaces are also very poor because there unsecured access especially the lift lobby is almost available to all (anyone) and only the front desk / reception area is secured . I don’t quite understand the setup because the rooms are only from 7-9th floor and all other floors belong to a shopping center with people smoking in the lobby and in the lifts
