Warm and welcoming staff. Clean and comfortable. Great wifi. About 15 minute walk from the the Old Town. We liked being able to get away from the masses of people inside the walls. Very peaceful location. Villa Katarina is (like a lot of places in Dubrovnik) on a pedestrian only walkway with stairs. Close to several mini-markets that carry the essentials.

Our hostess, Katarina herself, made us feel very welcomed in her home. The individual apartment rooms were clean and satisfactory for our needs. A lovely terrace in the sun to have happy hour and Katarina graciously gifted us some local wine, beer and oranges right off her trees in the yard. Beautiful garden. We had an easy walk down to Old Town.

Very sweet and friendly host. Comfortable accommodation with nice view from the window. The only issue is that this place is listed as Villa KatErina on Google. Villa KatArina is at a different location about 5 km away. I went there first and had to pay extra for my taxi. I did inform the owner of this.

This is a perfectly located hotel on the Riva in Split. We had good breakfasts at the outdoor part of their restaurant. Unfortunately, there were bedbugs in our room but the hotel immediately changed rooms for us and there was no problem in that room. This is a difficult problem both in a hotel and a home and we appreciate their quick response.

Near the Dominic Church, Fruit Square and only an hour walk to the terrace which I could see panoramic view of Split.

Its a good solid 3 star hotel, all personel is extremly friendly, everything is nice and clean, great lounge area, great location near the sea, rooms are a little bit rustic, older furniture, but everything is functional and well maintained. We were very happy.

This hotel is perfectly located close to the center of Lovran and between the main road and the seaside . Our hostess, Claudia, was incredibly welcoming. She advised the perfect dining experience, Spritz place and affordable parking. Unit does need coffee maker !! and instructions on how to operate the tiny stove. Could see the water from the bed and small balcony. The small unit is just lovely and the town is second to none. Just spent 4 weeks touring the western Balkans and this was our final night, as well as our wedding anniversary, so we wanted somewhere special. We could not have chosen better. We chose the hotel based on the views and the pics online, and were not disappointed! The hotel is located roughly 30mins away by car in Biograd Na Moru from Zadar airport. A taxi will cost you 45-50 euro’s roughly. You can go by bus, which you have to book beforehand or whilst there. Airport bus transfer to zadar center will take 25mins and will cost 5 euros-ish. Then you have to get another bus...

The location isn't the best, but everything else is perfect.

When using navigation to get to the hotel, be sure to find the right route. The first time we used Waze, it almost led us to a church; the path was probably no more than 2 meters wide, and there was nowhere to turn around, so we had to back up. We only found the hotel parking lot the second time using Google Maps. The breakfast was plentiful, great!

The hotel is a 1-minute walk from the sandy beach, but it is quiet, no street noise can be heard. The reception host/owner is very nice and helpful. Parking is free in the hotel yard. It's one of the most beautiful places! Every time we arrive it feels like coming home. We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Badi! It is a beautiful family run hotel in the quiet village of Lovrecica (San Lorenzo), about 5 km from the big city of Umag. We were there over Easter. It was very beautiful. The boss and the staff were all super warm and friendly. There was a very tasty and plentiful breakfast with both savory and sweet. We can definitely recommend Villa Badi. For the summer there is a very nicely landscaped pool area. Otherwise you can take very nice trips from there.
