The hotel is okay, but the music/ radio is really loud and it starts early in the morning, it wakes you up before 7am. The hotel room was seperated with the other room with just one door, so it lacks privacy. Otherwise, a really peaceful and cozy hotel.

When it comes to hotel choices, cleanliness with updated bathroom are the top 2 factors (with reasonable price). Really nice and clean spa, just the right size for a proper, relaxing break without the crowds. I use the spa regularly and I’m always satisfied. The atmosphere is calm, everything’s tidy and pleasant. Josipa, who’s currently working there, is very professional and friendly, she really knows how to make guests feel comfortable. A perfect little escape from the everyday hustle.

The best hotel of my two weeks trip

We stayed here for 2 weeks. Our room was equipped well and served our purposes during our stay. There was a shuttle bus to and from Dubrovnik at certain times of the day, at a cost of €4 each way which we thought was reasonable. Our recent stay in this very,very friendly hotel was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them and Igor is an excellent cook and an interesting raconteur.

Overall average rating and a bit disappointed Lots of reviews said staff very friendly however I didn’t feel the same . I suspect reviewers were taking about different staff. There was 1 person there to do breakfast and deal with visitors. I think because it was end of season he was exhausted and I personally felt awkward asking for anything .

Beautiful location but need to get taxi euro 35 or uber 20 euro to go anywhere. Room spacious but lots of stairs so don't book if you are not very mobile . We've had the best holidays ever (and we travel a lot). It's peaceful, pool and beach on the doorstep and Dubrovnik 10 min drive. A quiet haven in the countryside. We stayed in the upper apartment for two nights which is huge! Blanka welcomed us and showed us around, and since the weather was cold, already had the stove on. Quiet and beautiful nature, charming place, horses dogs and a cat interesting for kids to see, good WiFi, pleasant hosts. Terrible acoustic insulation, can hear other guests, low on hot water if more guests, tap water not drinkable.

Everything was fabulous. I can’t speak more highly on how I was treated. Everyone from owners to employees were kind and helpful. In fact, the rare instance of being just perfect. Breakfast was super with long hours to eat, and my omelette was made to perfection. And the view, couldn’t be beat. The family has generations of operating the hotel.

We only stopped here for an afternoon drink before returning to our boat back to Dubrovnik. However the staff were very attentive and service was very good.

The owner was a very kind person. There was a risk of boat cancellations due to bad weather on the island, but he arranged a private boat for us and even checked the wave height with us until the next morning. We were leaving early in the morning, but he had prepared salami and orange juice for the children, which warmed our hearts. We would love to go back and visit again.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful (providing baby cot and allowing 1 hour late checkout when the baby's nap went long). Beds are a bit firm for our liking, but the AC is excellent, so we had a good night's sleep. Good value for money!

We had two excellent meals at this Hotel . The food is reasonably priced and very good value for money. The service was fast and efficient. The menu is quite varied so should suit all tastes. It’s a short walk from the Hotel Park which is were we are staying and the beach .

We couldn't be happier booking this stay In Split, Croatia. The location is fantastic, a small walk from the Ocean and markets. Very central to the ships and restaurants. The hotel itself has a wonderful group of staff who make you feel very welcome. Their restaurant has an outdoor open area where you can watch the people or traffic fo by. It's overall one of the best.

My mother, sister and I stayed in split for 4 nights, we ended up eating in the restaurant of hotel villa Diana three times on our trip. We loved it and the staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The food is simple but definitely tasty and worth the money. Although we didn’t have a room to stay in the hotel, next time in split I would definitely consider it as an option.

Service was great, wine was great, steak with pasta and cream truffle sauce was great, Bruschetta was delicious and fresh........ however every Scallop was gritty with sand and our order of Shrimp scampi pasta was very very plain and soupy. Great food, perfect service. The waiter even gave the young ones a ride back to our hotel. If you have young kids they understand to feed them right away, the steaks are delicious and cooked to perfection. I'm told the seafood was top notch. Highly recommended.

Upon entering, a very warm welcome. Fine facilities such as jacuzzi and sauna that you may use. If you have the room for 2 people, however, in the shower is room for 1 person. Otherwise super nice and nice people. Close by a supermarket and a 15 min walk to the entrance of the plitvice park.

The rooms are clean, the price is quiete cheap. The owner was super friendly, he even took us to the plitvice national park Park because we didn't have a car.

Good location about a 10-15 min drive from plitvice lakes. Room is a good size. Would be nice of it had air conditioning though. The room can get pretty warm especially in august.

We had car problems, so we arrived at midnight, but that was no problem. Zoran was very friendly and helpt us with a room and with a car mechanic. Breakfast was nice, the rooms were fine. Especially the one with the seaside view. The location of the hotel was very nice, it was 50 meters from the beach. We want to thank Zoran for his hospitality. We had a very nice stay.

It was rather expensive for 2 nights but we had rooms with sea view, although we reserved one with the street view, we had the option to choose when we've checked in.The parking was harder to find ,had to pass through a side street and enter the parking parallel to the sea.The food was good.

Really not sure about this place...the food is ok, the service is ok and beautiful location but just doesn't tick all boxes. We really fancied a dessert/liquor...the staff obviously didn't want us to have one!

Perfect position and friendly staff. Breakfast is one of their value. The room I had was dark and a bit old style, not too big (for the price paid the room I would expect something better, I guess the room upstairs were better and with more natural light). A very nice, clean and confortable place in the Medulin center. The owner is very friendly, they serve great breakfast, have their own swimming pool, parking space is next to the building etc... I would suggest staying here to everyone.

The room was cheap and was easy walking distance to the TP Line Ferry. The breakfast was very good for the price. The room was a bit smelly and the 2 single beds we selected on ******* was a double (mistake at the property).

We had a perfect time in the hotel. All people who work there are kind and always smiling, and an owner is a bright person. The feeling of staying at home never left us while we were there. The warm memories from staying at Inn Forty Two will definitely make my family and I to this hotel again when we get back to Zagreb.

The room was designed in glamour style. Free car park was a huge benefit. Breakfast was quite good but it could be more varied. Lack of one star is connected with missing door in one of the two bathrooms.

I stayed here with my 4 children and it was excellent in every way! Anka was a wonderful host - we were greeted with Croatian cake and liqueur and my children were invited to pick oranges from the trees in the garden. Comfy beds & it was very handy having proper beds for all 5 of us. Washing machine in one of the bathrooms, and a very well equipped kitchen. Children loved them cat and other animals...
