Where to stay in Split

The 4-star rating of this hotel is definitely not justified. The receptionist who speaks Croatian was extremely kind and helpful, and she deserves all the praise. The room is beautiful, just like in the pictures. However, there were not enough towels in the room, and there was no shower gel or lotion. When we asked for them, they were not provided – it’s hard to imagine a 4-star hotel lacking basic...

Located in the old town, it is ideal for sightseeing. The owner was also kind and I was able to check in safely even though it was late at night. However, the room was small, which was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if all hotels in the old town in Croatia are the same, but you cannot store your luggage after check-out, so you have to stop by the luggage storage center, which costs extra.

I was here for a long weekend and the hotel had everything I needed. The rooms were big, bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet although I was off peak. Breakfast had plenty of variety to choose from. Staff were very helpful.

We were very happy to be upgraded to the double suite. Very spacious for three of us. But the layout is a bit strange, probably converted from a residential property. The rooftop is a real plus surprise - the view is fantastic, the pool is so cool. Plus it also has sauna, gym and a jacuzzi - very comprehensive for such a boutique hotel.

It's a little far from the beach, but the price/performance ratio is very high. The hotel facilities are very clean and spacious. I am generally satisfied

Very nice hotel 20 minutes walk from the old town. It's strange to find an establishment of this quality in such an ugly area. It's not serious, but it's surprising at first. With Trip I got an exceptional rate and the room was very large and super equipped. Very good breakfast also. Unbeatable price quality. Well done.

All is good. There is restaurant down the hotel. It is near the bus station going to Split. Near the beaches and restaurants and groceries. All is ok.

The hotel is in prime location for all of the attractions in Split. Easy walk to the ferry port and bus station. The hotel was clean and rooms well equipped. We were on the top floor but rooms can be a little noisy with the restaurants and bars that stay open late and also people coming in and out of the hotel. It is on the edge of the old town, within walking distance of everything, and parking spaces are available. The view is the biggest highlight. The view outside the window is so beautiful, with a panoramic view of the bay and the old town. It is worth recommending 👍

It was very clean and within walking distance to the city center, so I had a comfortable trip! The staff who guided me were kind and nice!

Duje was extremely helpful and plotted out the places we should visit on a map with a lot of descriptions! Rooms were clean and new. Location is easy walking distance to all the action in split. Highly recommended!

Check-in and parking were a bit complicated, but I was able to park on the hotel property during my stay, and the room was very comfortable. The view of Split's sunset and nightlife from my room was particularly beautiful. The hotel was modern, with ample outlets and everything I needed. The view of Split city from the hotel was breathtaking, making it even more recommended!

The wifi is sometimes good, sometimes bad. The bed and the room is comfortable. There are bugs and mosquitos in the environment around the hotel. Recommended to bring a bug and mosquito repellent liquid. I got 10 bites per 5 minute. Food is good.

For those driving, parking is available right downstairs at the hotel. The host is very nice, and the breakfast is excellent. There are stairs to the entrance, so it's a bit of a walk. It's only a 20-minute walk from the hotel to major seaside attractions, such as Diocletian's Palace. Calling an Uber takes about ten minutes and costs around EUR 10. Choose your preferred method. The only downside...

Kind of mixed feelings about this place. The owner is very nice and the location and value are great. But! There's like no sound separation. Like, none at all. I could hear conversations from the other room as if they were right next to me. I couldn't have conversations in my room without disturbing other folks. A wonderful apartment to stay in while exploring the city of Split! We stayed in the loft apartment room which was comfortable, cosy and instantly felt like home. This room had it's own small, well stocked kitchenette as well as access to the main kitchen in the main area. The host wasn't there while we stayed, but her mother was an absolutely wonderful host - very friendly and full of helpful information

They are very very kind. We arrived with our motorbikes and they give us the possibility to leave the bags an our helms before the check in to visit the city... breakfast is super! Rooms are good and silent. My husband hurt his hand and they treated him right away. Very nice and kind people.

The accommodation was spotless and had everything one might need, providing a very comfortable stay. It's a self check in b&b. We booked 2 rooms for 4 people. The rooms were spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, but bring your own shampoo because our rooms hadn't any. The breakfast was minimalist. The location is fine. It was a bit difficult to find at first since the car could not go to the entrance, but still ok as you could reach the attractions by walking.

A fantastic place to stay with kids, quiet street yet in the heart of the city. Right in the historic centre of the old town, very close to the Diocletian's palace and the boulevard. Public parking in walkable distance (5 minutes), since the car wouldn't fit in the narrow, medieval Palmina street. Clean, roomy, with breakfast, wifi and everything a traveller needs.
