Reviews
Pros:
1. Beautiful property (former family home) within the city walls.
2. Location unbeatable. Very well signposted as you enter the old city from the southwest gate.
3. Free tea or coffee served on arrival. Breakfast spread meze-style. (You're not required or expected to finish it!)
4. Price competitive with comparable B&B's in North America. Expensive by local standards but worth every kurus.
Caveats:
1. Most guests are tourists from mainland Turkey. Don't expect staff to speak much of any language that isn't Turkish. You may need your phrasebook or Google Translate. (Website is in Turkish only.)
2. The wifi in rooms works well, but be sure to ask for the password at reception---it wasn't posted in our room.
3. Reception closes at 8pm. If it isn't too late in the evening, one of the phone numbers posted on the door should reach a member of the family who own and operate the guesthouse (who still live nearby), but don't take them for granted!
4. If you're a light sleeper, be prepared for a wake-up call from the rooster next door and/or heated discussions within the Feline Cypriot community.

The best place I have ever imagined. Quiet, cozy, artistic and tolerant place. Great hosts, Betula and her daughter are lovely. The breakfast is rich and tasty, everyday different with both local dishes and eggs, tomato's etc. Lovely place for all Famagusta and Karpas region. Will definitely be back if lucky :)
Cosy and comfortable. Reasonable price.
Very nice family run business. Enjoyed our stay there. BETUL is lovely lady.
